Vergo Salon Spa

My friend has had Cindy do her hair for years and it always looks great. When I finally decided I wanted to do something with my all-​one-​length LONG hair I booked an appointment with her. I wanted to keep the length — which Cindy did flawlessly — but I now also have hip looking layers on the front and sides and a bit of subtle lowlights. All she needed was a handful of pictures on my phone to analyze what it was I wanted and how best to do it. My friends are shocked I got such a rockin’ haircut in the suburbs. Well worth the drive to get someone with talent and even more worth the drive to not have to deal with snarky hipster attitudes that seem to get more and more pervasive in my previously anonymous urban neighborhood.

I came here because of a friend recommendation. But after my experience, I will not be a returning client.
I showed several pictures of «Ombré» and how I want it to look like. The end result with my straight hair looks like patches of blonde hair considering i have layers in my hair.
The way my Ombré was done was by foiling and teasing my hair. My hair was teased so much that there were so many KNOTS in my hair and while it was being brushed I lost so much hair.
After the bleach was washed off my hair he put leave in conditioner on the bleached parts. I touched the ends of my hair and my ends were literally FALLING OFF! The hair that would come off felt like gum. I almost felt like my hair was melting off. At this point, I was MORTIFIED!
This was not even the bad part…
After everything was washed off. My hair was being combed and He literally had to keep prying knots out of my hair. I thought it was so SHADY that he turned my vision away from the mirror when he was doing so, BUT I was able to see the stylist from the corner mirror, that every time he was combing the knots out, he was grabbing all the hair that was falling off onto the brush and HIDING it in his pocket!!! I was livid at this point. All the while when he was blow-​drying my hair I could see him kicking hair off to go under my seat! And at this point, all the BURNT ends of my hair was flying all over the place.
I would’ve appreciated it if the stylist was more honest about my hair falling and becoming very damaged Rather than hiding the fact that I lost so much hair from this experience.
The bleached spots turned out to be a nice blonde. But its very disappointing that my hair is completely fried.
I am so disappointed because before this experience my hair was so healthy and now I am considering cutting off a few inches because the ends are so fried.

I came here thanks to living social for a highlight and cut. Ashley was my stylist and she did an awesome job! I have gotten so many great compliments since she did my hair last weekend. The color she chose really goes well with my skin tone, and she trimmed up my ends and my layers nicely. I will defiantly be seeing Ashley again!

I started off my bachelorette party with mania/​pedis at Vergo for a group of 6 ladies and 1 child. Peter and the rest of the team were AMAZING! They set up a table with wine glasses and wine as well as letting us bring in our own beverages. For all intents and purposes we pretty much took over the back room, but no one ever made us feel as though we were in the way or anything! Peter checked in multiple times to see how things were going and if we needed anything.
When I set up the event, Peter went above and beyond and even called in extra help for the afternoon for us. As for the treatments, the technicians did a stellar job! The pedicures were relaxing and looked great! And even when my 5 year old niece smudged one of her nails right before we left, one of the ladies fixed it immediately, no problem. Also, they handled all of us so quickly and with excellent service. Some of my guest have already said they’ll be back soon! Very reasonable prices and when you factor in the quality, its a great deal!

Peter is the best! Great cuts, affordable prices. This is such a great salon and I plan to go back & recommend to friends :)

I came here today for a package I bought online for a body scrub and a facial. It was really relaxing. The room was dimly lit and had candles with soft music. The downside was that the room was right outside of the rest of the salon and at times I could hear a lot of noise from the rest of the salon. I’ve had body scrubs at other spas before, but not like this. This was almost like a Swedish massage with scrub instead of oil. I definitely felt pampered. Then they wrap you up in blankets and let the oils soak in while they give you a facial. The facial was good. I was pretty much in a trance when I left.
The biggest thing I’d be careful of when going to this place is their scheduling. The first time I booked my services I called to confirm and they said they had no record of me or my roommates reservation. They rescheduled while I was on the phone and the second time my roommate got a call saying they needed to cancel but i never did and I made both appts. I was kind of ticked after that one so I made sure to call for this third time just to be sure. Luckily they had me down this time.
