Sweet Love

I’ve tried several cakes, cupcakes and macaroons. They were all delicious and looked so pretty. The frosting is just-​right-​sweet and sort of whipped, the way I like it. The chocolate, peanut butter cake is a beautiful black color and has legit chocolate flavor.

The fresh macaroons were fantastic (my favorite was the birthday cake one), but everything else I bought that was on the counter was not nearly as good

Best variety of desserts in town! They are fresh and the yummy smell is very inviting. I’m in love with sweet love!

The cakes, cupcakes, and cookies look great and taste even better! I’ve recommended them to several friends and they’ve all had great experiences with Kelli and her staff.

I recommend this place for the cupcakes and brownies. Haven’t had any of their cakes (which I am going to assume is most of their business) but if the cupcakes are any indication, it will be great. Prices are really reasonable and I hope they can make enough business to stay open (it was empty when I came in). Maybe it is the location but I know that this place will get a lot of people in the store at the Promenade at Chenal (I think that place needs a dessert/​cupcake place and will fit in much better than some of the stores that are currently there).

My first visit was today… the staff was nice and the owner, Kelli Marks, was right there frosting a cake. She humored all of my silly questions (how do you pronounce «fondant»???) Sweet Love does special order cakes, cake truffles (aka cake pops), cupcakes, brownies, pies, dessert cakes… and they have varieties of these things available on a daily basis. I bought a cherry chocolate chip cookie and a slice of italian cream cake. The cookie was delish – soft, chewy, huge and melt in my mouth wonderful. The Italian cream cake was very fresh… tasty, a generous slice of three layers of cream cheese frosting. The cookie (giant size) should be about $ 2 and the cake was $ 4 for the big slice. I’ll be back with a special order… Kelli is a fondant (oh…you say ‘fawn-​dunt’) queen. yeah for sweet love!
