I have had Avanti a few times before at various festivals and events and really enjoyed the wine and recently made the trip to Littleton to visit their tasting room, and that was the first mistake. For starters not all of the wines were available for tasting because the tops had not been waxed dipped yet and they didn’t want to sell it. Secondly the individual running the tasting room was very rude, pretentious, and not great at listening when a certain wine style was requested. I would not recommend visiting this location, it is overpriced and the quality of service does not justify making the trip.

The web sight did not specify when the wine tastings are. The sign outside said there was wine tasting. The guy from what seemed to be running the place inside told us there was no tasting. He did sugest a few places to go but was still unshur on where or when.

A nice hidden winery with a very nice staff member! We weren’t expecting much by the look of the place outside but they have a very cozy tasting room in the back. The person working there was super nice and knew his stuff. Wife and I look young so normally ppl don’t really talk to us and think we’re just there to get free booze but the guy there talked to us a lot and was pretty funny. The tasting was free and we got 8 tastings each! The wines they make there are about $ 15-$ 25 but they also have other wines there that they sell and a huge cigar selection.

My husband brought me here for a birthday surprise last year, and it was such a treat! The place is kind of hard to find, because the actual store is called«Gars and Grapes». It’s such a cute little cigar and wine shop, and they also produce their own wine. The name«Avanti» comes from the family dog… hence the paw print on the label. They make a great Zinfandel and Syrah. The wine tasting is free, which you can try some of their wines along with another featured Colorado winery, which changes each week. For purchase, they showcase over 28 Colorado wineries along with their own label. The owner was such a friendly guy, and very informative about Colorado wineries. The place was pretty dead when we went there, so we were able to relax and enjoy the wine and conversation. For one of my birthday presents I was able to get a case wine. With over 28 other wineries, I was able to try 12 different kinds! Plus, we received 20% off for buying a whole case! I recommend checking this place out… not just for their wine, but for the variety of different wine from all over Colorado.
