This place had good quality which tasted like cardboard. Now you have less calories with cardboard which can be good. If you like cardboard, go to Applebees, you will lose weight too! What’s stopping you, do it today!

on way out of town, decided to stop into a fast casual place for a bite rather than do the drive thru norm…
choice between here and chili’s, decided on applebees
standard chain/​bar restaurant, wasn’t too crowded, being a sunday night, that was to be expected
we were seated promptly, and our waiter appeared a few minutes later to take our drink orders… only iced tea, since we had a long drive ahead of us, no alcohol… boo!
I order the clubhouse, my buddies did the 2 entrees for $ 25 deal, one got the sirloin steak, the other a half rack of ribs
the clubhouse was decent, not a bad choice, a bit messy, but in a good way
not a whole lot of turkey in it, but the sauce and slaw/​lettuce prevented it from being dry, I would order it again. came with basic fries
the steak was cooked nicely, a medium rare, and came with mashed potatoes and vegetables… apparently good since my buddy cleaned the plate! or he was just hungry?
the ribs were just ok… I tried one, they were pretty dry, I would definitely avoid them in future… came with fries and coleslaw
the meal deal came with an appetizer too, we opted for mozzarella sticks, and they were a nice start to our meal
service was decent, although it looked as if our waiter was the only one working the dining area…
overall, a nice quick relaxing meal, and then we were off back to los angeles!

Each time we’ve come, my husband and I have had the honor of Spencer being our server. Always accommodating and friendly.

I ferquently come in to dine at the bar mostly for the drinks not the food and our bartender daisy and paulina always take care of me and my friends.

Last night was at least the third time if not the fourth in the last 12 months where our to-​go internet order has been not correct. I should never come here again and if I am in the unfortunate situation where that does happen I will not order here again and leave without checking EVERY flipping container. We had a 2 for 20 order and one kids dinner. The kids grilled cheese was on stale bread and the cheese was burned. My American standard burger had no bacon or pickle on it and one small piece of onion. My wife’s chicken tenders platter did not come with the second side that it was supposed to. Every portion of food came in a separate container… what a WASTE even if they are recyclable.
Do not bother with this location.

Went to Applebee’s this weekend and the food was pretty good. My table seemed rushed by our server though. When she gave us the check she waited by our table to pay. You can tell she was about to clock off of work but that’s no excuse to stand by our table and wait for us to pay. It was pretty rude we were rushed, I didn’t like it. Probably won’t go back again

Good food and pretty good service. Spencer was our server our last visit. He did an outstanding job taking care of us. Thanks.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! Food was terrible! I asked for not toasted due to a blister on my tongue and though the bread was still white, it was lightly toasted and it felt like eating and swallowing rocks! They didn’t add any sauce on the sandwich and it was too dry to chew. The ribs were too dry for my grandpa to eat so he just gave back the plate. The cocktail sauce is very sour, and so was the waitress! Rudest women I’ve ever met. She offended my grandmother because I shared my drink with her, and she lied when my grandma asked if she showed the cook the dry ribs when 10 minutes had already passed and it was probably thrown out. She said she «was just about to do that.» Considering my grandpa didn’t eat, my grandma asked if we would get a discount and she stormed off and came back and slapped the receipt on the table and said «here’s your new total» and stormed off again and yelled at the manager to take a «5» minute break. Food was crap and so was her attitude. We were trying to be nice and calm considering she didn’t cook the food.

Bad service, bad food every time I go, whether it’s for lunch or dinner, it never gets better. Seems like they are perpetually understaffed… so I stopped patronizing this restaurant

Our group of 10 enjoy not only good steaks today but excellent service on a Sunday. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly to order all ten steaks. The Banana Cheesecake drizzled in Carmel was so good. Many of the cooks and wait staff are long term employees having been there for years — great dinning experience thanks to Jen.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. The service, the food and the atmosphere are all gross. The food never comes out hot (even warm), the servers let alone the managers don’t care, and the other customers complaining around you leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The only reason I came here was because I had a gift card and turns out the f*#%ers gave me an empty card. DONT GO HERE

It is an absolute wonder how this place is still fucking open. I was wondering why it had such low reviews but now I know. Terrible servers, they are all talking and laughing loud and obnoxiously, we all needed refills but they still were laughing and joking like dumbass’. Also are table was filled with plates and she saw but left them, I think her name was Taylor, she was slow, and by slow I mean an idiot.

An actual HORROR story and a sad one
I was driving my elderly parents to the Bay Area. We stopped here for lunch. After the meal, my mother and I were paying and my dad was supposed to walk to the car and wait for us. He collapsed outside and started coughing up blood. When my mom and I came outside a few minutes later, he was on the ground, bent over, barely conscious and the f***ing staff were hosing the blood off the sidewalk.
That’s all they did. No one called 911 or came in or got us or even tried to help him. This happened a few years ago and I have been meaning to write this review for years, but I just couldn’t.

Came to Applebee’s because a visiting friend likes this place and their motto has not changed, «come for the mediocre service, stay because they forgot to bring the check». Asked for ranch and never got it, asked for them to remove appetizer plates they didn’t, asked for a refill never got them, asked for napkins got 2. We are a party of 4 people. And they couldn’t even get a burger rare.

We have gone to this applebees for few times now and overall it’d not that bad. The food is good. They have good burgers and good steaks. Their happy hour prices and selections isn’t bad.
The only thing they need to improve is faster service. It seems like they are short staffed. Most of the times we couldn’t even find our waiter and sometimes we had to wait almost 10 minutes to order. Other than that food is good and personnel are very friendly.

Just walked in to the coldest restaurant I’ve ever been to, no hostess. Stood there for a couple minutes until one of the waiters stopped and told us we would be helped. We got sat by a very kind server who was very attentive and sweet. My mother and I ordered the 3 appetizer combo (she got the shrimp, pretzels, and wanton tacos, I got the buffalo wings, meatballs, and spinach artichoke dip). All of my food was fine, I really enjoyed the wings and the rest was acceptable. My mother however was only satisfactory with her pretzels. Her shrimp came out to us raw. Her tacos were bland. The waiter took forever to bring back out card when we paid. (Didn’t pay at the nearest register in addition.) Needless to say we were a little uneasy.
As we were shivering with our food we overheard the manager come up to someone, get told by a customer that they were all cold, and then continue to say that the air conditioner was broken in her car so she cranked it in here.
Probably wouldn’t go back unless it was my only option.

I am not coming to this establishment ever again!!! Horrible service! I can’t even begin to describe it!

Judging from the most recent reviews, me and the group I was with must have caught this location on good night. The service was amazing from the start. When asked where we wanted to sit, we let them know we prefered the section off to the left because it was completely void of any other customers. The host hesitated for a moment but eventually led us over. He joked around with us for another minute or so before returning to the host stand.
Our server came over shortly after and full of energy. He asked us if we were famliar with the tablet at the table, which you could use to browse the menu, order and eventually pay. Though I wasn’t, the people in my party were and let him know that we would much prefer a live server. Even though the rest of his tables were all the way on the other side of the restaurant, he had no problem making a special trip to serve us.
I ordered the Clubhouse Grille with fries. The sandwich sounded like a monster. Turkey, ham, bacon, both cheddar and Jack cheese, hony BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato, mayo and all on toasted potato bread. Sounds like a lot right? That’s because it was. I couldn’t taste the turkey much, but that’s because it was overpowered by delicious ham and bacon. At a ratio of 2:1, the pig won this battle. The mayo and BBQ sauce in a combined effort, made for messy attempts to lift this baby up. If you’re looking for a cheesy, meaty monster of a sandwich, the Clubhouse Grilled would be the way to go.
No complaints about the fries. Cooked perfectly and salted beaufiully. A+
While not my ideal restaurant, I certainly had a good time here. The service was amazing, and the food was good. Sounds like they are picking up their game and I will definitly be returning.

Been there in the past with satisfaction
But there new business model is a stinker. They try to force you to order by iPad, by deemphasizing service. Hard to get a waiter to come around
1. They refuse to give you utensils other than fork, saying «if you food needs to be cut, we“ll bring a knife». So THEY decide. My wife ordered burger. They did not bring knife. How to spread the condiments? How to cut it? Took several minutes to flag down server, and ask for knife.
2. They do not clear the table. We ordered appetizers, finished. Throughout the entire experience, they never took away any plates, etc., unless I
a result, the table was very CROWDED with empty plates. Weird
Go back to a traditional business model, based on customer service
I won’t go back.

Excellent food! The Oriental Chicken Salad is the best salad I’ve ever tasted. The dessert menu is also delicious.
However, the service is HORRIBLE. I waited 40 minutes for my food to come, and I ordered a simple pasta dish. The waitress also gave my appetizer to the wrong table, so I had to reorder it. Overall, excellent food, but not worth the hassle.
