Great diner with a wide selection of goods to choose from. Had the sandwich that’s basically just a cheese sandwich but I wasn’t disappointed. Left with an eight dollar jar of peanuts(couldn’t resist) and a smile on my face. The service is great as well. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area. Nice close to my Memorial Day weekend.

Lovely hidden gem in the town of Livingston Manor, NY. Fresh, delicious and simple food from local farmers and producers. Chill and relaxing ambiance, great to sit down and grab a bite to eat or unplug and get some work done in a quiet environment. First time visiting this spot and what a great surprise it was. I had their lunch special which consists of a soup, sandwich, beverage and a cookie. The soup of the day was a beef barley soup, a house-made local smoked trout roll with vegan mayo and organic greens and tomatoes. To wash it all down a strawberry/sage kombucha, colorful and refreshing. A tasty chocolate chip cookie to end the culinary journey. Definitely give this place a try if you are ever in the area, you won’t be disappointed. If anything sit outside in their backyard overseeing the creek.

Last time I was there they made a special pot of coffee just for me. This is the kind of attention to their customers that makes this place enjoyable and unique. The selection of local and artisan food is unmatched and outstanding. The atmosphere is at once folksy and cosmopolitan. Every display of food is like an artistic tableau. If I had any criticism it is that it is a bit pricey so be prepared for a little sticker shock to go with your Brooklyn-made kampucha. I would like to actually give it four and a half stars but I cannot figure out how to do that.

Great place for local goods, organic foods, speciality meats, local cheese and baked goods. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Didn’t give it 5 stars Bc I found it a bit pricey but perhaps if I owned it, I might charge similar prices to maintain quality control. They have beer and wine on tap so great option for eating in as well.

Highly recommend The Manor sandwich ~ fresh & delicious. And, I even enjoyed the gluten-free multi grain bread. Had to take off one star for high price and portion of meat, even after paying for extra prosciutto I was still hungry. Also, stellar customer service in a cozy atmosphere.

A destination spot when visiting Sullivan County. This place is fantastic. Super friendly staff, incredible sandwich/soup options and the best little market I have found, locally. With the wealth of small farms and beautiful landscape in this area, there certainly is a shortage of quality food cafes that serve real food. I’m so happy to have stumbled upon this hidden gem. I will easily travel the 45 minutes to come here for local micro brewed beer and a artisan crafted sandwich. Keep up the good work!

Gluten-free bread /salad alert. :) Driving back to the city after the holidays we stopped here for lunch. I got a tasty beet sandwich with kale pesto and shaved Parmesan on gluten free bread. My husband got a vegetarian«foragers ruben»(on regular ciabatta) that was really good. Sandwiches can be served as salads. We would stop here again when driving through.

Just off the hwy this was the perfect spot to stop and get real food! Local, organic and fresh. Great snacks for the road as well a quick sit down meal. It is half café and half mini health food grocery store. Could not have been happier with the service, food and snacks!

I absolutely loved it here. I visited a friend and I stopped to get some lunch for us. I ordered two soups and two Liberty sandwiches. The food was fantastic but what really made it special was the girl serving me, Ariel. She went above and beyond making sure the soup was the perfect temperature and accommodating the special requests I had on the sandwiches. She and her manager Alyssa truly care about their customers! I would definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the Catskills.

Got farm fresh eggs and local wine from this adorable place that were absolutely great. Can’t wait to try their sandwiches and uncured meats. A gem we wish we had in the city!

On vacation with some friends, we went into this place for some fresh produce and meat to cook for dinner. None of the meat, fish or chicken were priced so we had to get it weighed and then priced. The steak we chose which was big enough to serve a person and a half was $ 49. What??? We’re from NYC and that is beyond insane even to us. We bought sweet corn, radishes and 12 eggs for $ 8(which I’ve also never heard of in my life). When we got home, one of the corns had mold when we dehusked it, and the radishes had maggots. Yes, maggots. Seems like this place is trying to take advantage of rich out of towners, but I can’t imagine how many fit that description. In the hamptons, maybe I would expect this sort of thing but not in a nice small town. Inflation to cover costs is one thing, but making up extremely high pricing with no rooting or reason(seemingly) is a bit tacky. Especially when the product doesn’t live up to the price, or has living things growing on/in them.

Laughably overpriced. Tiny container of strawberries for $ 8.50. There’s a market on Madison Avenue and 74th that goes head to head with these jokesters on their pricing. We actually pointed, laughed, and walked out. This isn’t «farm to table.» If we are buying direct from the local source, it shouldn’t cost more than Whole Foods. This is price gouging on the back of the already perilous upstate New York economy. Good luck with that.

Absolutely loved this little gem; loved it enough to eat here twice in one weekend visit. Everything I ate was incredible, with special mention going to the portobello ruben sandwich which was out-of-this-world good. Probably the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten: grilled marinated portobellos, homemade sauerkraut, vegan thousand island, and caraway seed cheese(vegan). Sometimes I daydream about driving the 2 hours from NYC just to get another one. Great vegan options, great ambiance and cozy seating, excellent friendly service, fresh organic and homemade goodness, plus outdoor patio seating overlooking the river. Go now!

Loveeeeeee this place. Every time I come up here I make it a point to come in here. There organic foods are great and the place is cute with a rustic country feel. The macaroons are also really good. They can cheeses, meats, honeys, sauces etc. this place reminds me of a place in Nyc and I love it. Has a whole foods fresh market feel but more intimate. There coffee is always very good. I would differently recommend

Stopped in for breakfast — no breakfast menu but they do omelettes, and breakfast sandwiches. Had a portobello mushroom, onion, tomato and cheddar cheese omelette– you get to choose ingredients. Best tasting freshest omelette I can remember, and the coffee was excellent too, + they are so nice OK — after I finish the coffee, I’ll check out the store. Farm fresh stuff…

Awesome coffee and tea spot with local foodie groceries and other supplies. We can only vouch for the coffee and tea but brunch/lunch look amazing. Be sure and take a second to visit the back patio and the view of the river. I’m totally coming back to this charming town and market on a romantic weekend getaway! Also, they have compostable plastic cups. That’s awesome.

Every time we are in «The Manor» I love to stop here… They have delicious soups — try the beef barley. We usually like to buy the Braggs apple cider vinegar honey drink(though the last two times they didn’t have it). Love the spices and bulk grains. They also have the elderberry drink, which is delicious! PS: they had to move across the street recently…
