Much larger than the one in Jeffersonville, and the staff seems more«on the ball» and professional. Prices are about the same, strictly hit-or-miss.

I was always impressed with the selection they have in here given how small it is. They even have a good selection or organic and gluten free products. But have to compliment their responsiveness and willingness to satisfy customers with requests.

Peck’s is Livingston Manor’s only supermarket, with the next alternatives 10 miles away. The store is an asset to the town — well run, clean, and fair — and has occupied its niche in this economically struggling area for many years. They have many good sale prices and normal pricing is reasonable. As a small supermarket, they simply don’t have the shelf space to offer all the product options the big supers can, but I find 90% of what I want there. Their walk-in beer cooler has a massive selection and they have an adjacent liquor store, too. If local stores like Peck’s aren’t actively supported, they disappear. Then all of us have to drive to distant larger towns to shop. If you doubt it, see how many small town pharmacies and hardware stores are left. Travelers should note it’s only a two minute detour off Exit 96 of the Quickway(NY17/I 86).

Not a bad country grocery store. They have a Ok produce section offering the basics. Deli counter and pre made food. Prices are completive and not to expensive. If you are staying in the area you will find everything you need here and check the sales there is always some really good bargains. Store has beer sales on the corner of the building.
