Oh how i love Big Lots but please beware to check your food — they have some outdated inventory on their shelves.
The store is normally clean and I enjoy the fact you can purchase a lot of things for a low price. Please note — sometime their cashiers are a little slow, so don’t be in a rush to get anywhere but they are nice.

Until recently I had never really been to a Big Lots. I’m a fan now! Good selection of products. The store is well organized and clean. As mentioned by other posters some of items are priced at (or above) what you can get it for at a major store.

I haven’t been to big lots in awhile, I find some items to be way over priced whereas others are a definite steal. Great for lotions and cleaning products.
This last visit however warranted a review based on Meredith’s customer service alone. She was so friendly and kind and I could see that the other people in line were also affected by her happy nature. You don’t see this level of standards often and it definitely encouraged me to return.

It’s amazing what you can buy here and the amount if money you will save.
We bought my mom a tablet for a super low price n it was marked down 50% on special.
The amount on inventory in the store is crazy awesome. They have furniture, some food, electronics, even had Halloween outfits four out dog.

As far as Big Lots go, this one is the tops.
The store is welcoming, unlike the Southgate location. The aisles are roomy, well-​stocked and organized. The clientele consists of normal people, not the typical seedy Downriver usuals. The employees are helpful and friendly, not evasive and rude.
I secretly love Big Lots, so I’m super-​happy I found a clean, friendly one to visit. I can finally break up with that Southgate hag.
