You really have to scour the racks to find anything good at this relatively tiny location, but at least it’s here. The staff seems to be trying their best. But I guess I’m spoiled from having really big stores in the LA area or the large multistory Marshall’s in Santa Barbara. 3 stars isn’t a bad thing, but it’s that I would almost rather wait to shop at the Marshalls in Santa Barbara because the selection is amazing there. I’ve gotten lucky at this location a few times when they had a product I really wanted, or a sweater I liked. But most times I leave without making a purchase. If you like TJ Maxx, you have to go up to Santa Maria. And there is no Home Goods nearby. It’s either Oxnard or San Luis Obispo for that.
