came in today to get a haircut, i was looking for a new salon nearby and gave them a call and got an appointment for 30 minutes later. Cheryl was sweet and welcoming. I got a fantastic haircut at an amazing price! Cheryl made my hair feel soft and look alive, she even tailored my haircut to my hair condition (i have thick and curly hair) Amazing and it didn’t take 2 hours unlike some salons.

Lisa is the absolute best if you want your hair to be taken care of. I have always had long hair and I wanted to do something different which was to get a bob cut. But I started to get cold feet and asked her a dozen of questions regarding the length of the cut, how it would frame the face, would bangs be nice? How about the style? How do you style with a round brush? What about a curling iron? Would it look nice curly? And what if etc, etc?
Lisa however was very kind and attentive. She understands the customer and gives them different ideas on hairstyles when it’s a new look. She took the time to cut the annoying hairs that always caused me problems when I tried to have bangs and gave me tips to upkeep the style. And when I saw something that was uneven with the length, she would go ahead and fix it.
This place is awesome and also its customers. They joke around with you and make it feel like home. Considering this was my first time coming here and getting an excellent service, I’m definitely coming back again!

Rosie is great! Reasonable prices! One Tip: When you make an appointment make sure to specify if you want your hair washed and dried otherwise they will just spray it and than let it air dry after.

Hey ladies… just wanted to let you know that if your looking for a girl that can rock your hair & make you laugh while your there Liliane is your girl!!! I personally have some hair issues (stress, we all know what that does to your hair!!!) anyway called to make an appt with my girl Becca & she was gone… WHAT!!! Long story short I was lucky that Liliane answered the phone & in hearing my dismay she fit me in the next day. She rocked some super blonde highlights & cut my hair right back into shape (actually better than my old gal) despite my issues & shes’s got a fabulous personality as well! I a highly recommend her!!! Not only will your hair look fantastic you’ll have fun too!!!

Mens Haircut — Simple, easy, In&out
Overall great experience for a Mens Haircut. Its usually easier for a Mens Walk-​in vs Womens. Place is small but still has the Barber/​Salon type feel.
The staff is great and paid attention to detail. They immediately mentioned some ideas they had for my haircut — based on current style, shape of my dome, etc… Liked the idea and went for it. Felt pretty good afterwards.
Price isn’t bad. Getting a Salon atmosphere for a cheaper price than most places. Overall for the Price, Location and what I was looking for (a quick haircut), this place was great.

Got a fantastic cut & style by Rosie Banda! People think short hair is easy, and it is for the wearer, but it’s a challenge for the stylist. Rosie did a super job. Short & sassy, but still feminine. I also like the shop. The décor shows me that they spend their money wisely. I’ll be going back!

Becca is awesome, she was super nice and amicable. She knew exactly what I wanted and did exactly that. I love my haircut!!! The pricing is perfect! !

When I moved to Belmont Shore several years ago I knew I needed a great hair stylist. I have thick hair, so I needed someone who knew how to thin without losing length and I like to try out different colors (not always an easy task). I was walking by Carefree Hair Salon and saw this beautiful gal with pink and purple hair and I knew this was the place for me. I haven’t told you about it before cuz I am afraid once you know how wonderful Becca is, I’ll never get an appointment! The atmosphere is relaxed, über friendly, fun but professional. All the ladies here are great at cutting hair. I have spent countless hours in the chair over the years (with my cuts and the bleach and the red dye or the black dye or whatever I’m in the mood for) and all the customers I see are always happy. Please check this place out!

WOW ! I am ecstatic at the work Liliane performed with my cut and color. I walked in looking very out dated, my color was uneven, my cut was tired, and I can honestly say that Liliane performed a miracle. I came in with a butchered hair cut from a beauty school. I was in tears.
I found this salon on Unilocal and made an appointment as soon as possible. I have never felt more comfortable letting a stranger cut my hair. She fixed my horrible haircut at a fairly reasonable rate. I am truly grateful fro such a nice haircut.

Carefree Hair Salon is a fabulous salon! It is clean, organized, and the staff are very professional. It is conveniently located on 2^nd Street surrounded by many other fantastic businesses.
Liliane has been my stylist for 10 years. I followed her to this salon a few years ago and am so glad I did! Not only is Liliane an amazing stylist with cutting and coloring my hair, but she really makes the experience a spa-​like experience. She’ll bring out a glass of wine if you’re having one of those days and also has an excellent sense of humor!
I really appreciate the affordable prices! Most other salons would charge significantly more for the treatment that is provided at Carefree.

I drive an hour just come get my hair done by Lilliane. No one I have gone to is as attentive/​cool/​nice and reasonably priced. My hair is very long and I don’t let many people touch it because I dread how much they’ll cut or how they’ll cut it. LIlliane, however, always listens to my ideas and produces results beyond my expectations. Highly recommend!

I hated my last hair cut done elsewhere and walked by CareFree when I saw Rosie standing outside. Her hair and makeup were adorable and her smile was huge, so I made an app. I came back a month later to have Rosie fix what the other guy did. And needless to say, I will never go anywhere else! Rosie is determined and asks lots of questions about your hair lifestyle and what you like to do with your régime. She took her time on my pixie haircut and offered great advice on how to style it. The place was clean, with big mirrors and lots of sunshine. The girls were friendly and knowledgeable and my experience was one of hanging out with friends. Affordable ($ 25 compared to the $ 60 I was paying, again, for a pixie hair cut) and I left with a sexy confident smile on my face. Thank you Rosie! See you in a few months!

I have been going to Carefree Hair Salons for many years now. When I first started going there my stylist was Cilicia good stylist and sweet person. When she left I was a little worried who would do my hair.
When I called for an appointment Liliane was suggested and that was one of the best suggestion ever!!!
Liliane always does a really great job on my hair and always makes me feel comfortable. She’s the best stylist and not to mention her beautiful sense of humor.
So if you are looking for a new stylist like I was, not to worry give Liliane a try and you will be glad you did.

Came for a cut and color after it was recommended to me. The only thing I left happy was that I liked the way my stylist Stefanie cut my hair. Otherwise, I was unhappy that the color was not what I wanted at all — it looked exactly like how I went in.
I was told it would be $ 80, instead I was charged $ 100. NOT cool.
The employees were not too friendly, focusing on their own personal cell phones and makeup. I would say that it was very unprofessional. My stylist was more awkward than anything, talking about going on dates and doing drugs. That is how you drive business away.
Spiders, and I mean BIG spiders were crawling around. So gross.
Also, the place was empty. You would think they would have more clients. I’m still looking for a hair salon that will cut AND color my hair properly. Needless to say I still have not found it.

I have been going to Lilian for about 5 years. She is amazing and keeps getting better and better. The salon is not much but the vibe is really good and Lil works with her regulars on pricing which really helps you keep lookin good! I get TONS and TONS of compliments on my hair and everyone I have referred has been very satisfied with the outcome. I can’t say enough about Lil. Not only is she a fabulous stylist, she is super fun and great to chat with — I always look forward to going and that was never the case in the past. Check her out!

Been going to carefree Haircutters for about 8 years now and I’ve got no complaint the service is quick and the salon is super clean the staff is cool and down to earth plus you get a good haircut
So if you need a cut or a trim go see Tara or one of the other girls and be sure to get the shampoo you can’t go wrong

Lillian is absolutely amazing! I found her about 6 yrs ago through a co-​worker and couldn’t be happier. when i first walked in i had 6in roots, a horrible color, and dry-​damaged hair from going to other stylist who had no idea what they were doing.
She has worked her magic and I now have long, healthy, gorgeous hair that I’m proud of. I recommend Lil to all my friends who are now clients. She also does Brazilian Blowouts which i highly recommend if you have any frizz and want to smooth out your hair and have extra shine to it.
On top of doing a great job on your hair, she makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you walk in, You’re a life saver lil!!!
