This review has nothing to do with the product I received here because I was unable to receive anything being that I came here at 8pm on a Tuesday and they were closed. The hours say 9pm so it’s a little frustrating that they don’t go by their hours and I drove all the way here for nothing -.-

Love the selection of healthy juice, smoothies, and snacks. Pretty good prices and store is kept very clean. Staff is friendly. Wish I had one of these closer to my house!

This is a regular stop for me. My standard smoothie right now is the coconut Kale but I sub agave with dates and add almond butter. I always get my organic fresh almond butter from here, too. It’s the best texture fresh from the grinder. The smoothie/juice prices feel a little high, but the fresh coconut meat ingredient is something I’ll never do on my own at home.

So much to choose from if you want a custom juice. And the pre-made menu is amazing. The service was very friendly and helpful.

I use their protein smoothie as a meal replacement 3 times a week. I love it with blueberries or peanut butter. It’s made with hemp protein, and it tastes great and leaves me satisfied and energized. Their stamp program is great too, it’s a nice way to reward clients that come in often with a free one every now and then.

I’m torn because I love naturewell but they need to update their hours on Unilocal.I don’t live anywhere near the area but I take the drive because I love naturewell soo much. I’ve gone twice, months inbetween, and unfortunately they’be been closed. I arrived a few minutes after 8pm both times and they were already closed instead of 9pm which is the time advertised. So both times I waste my time and gas only to be greeted by a locked door and people inside looking away and pretending we’re not there, instead of at least apologizing. It happens once, I get over it, but dude it’s been a really long time now to where they’re getting bad reviews for it and it does affect my view on their customer service. I wish I had somewhere else close to where I live to satisfy my vegan chocolate, coconut kale smothie, and acai bowl cravings.

Naturewell is located just a couple of blocks from my house and I love it! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I’ve gotten a variety of juices and the acai bowl many times and have always been happy. The healthy heart with pineapple instead of celery is my fav! They also do a stamp card and you earn a free juice after twelve stamps!

A sterile little joint with my favorite acai bowls, mainly because you can pick how much granola to put in from many granola choices. One star off for having a 1 in 5 chance of having the unfriendly one ring you up.

9pm close, as advertised? Nope. Arrived at 8:10pm to a locked door and blank stares from behind the counter. Get it right, false advertisement much? BLAH

The place has a lot of great selection for Togo products and lots of juices… However I came in for an acai bowl and it was nothing special. It had honestly no flavor at all and the staff was extremely unhelpful despite my mentioning it was my first time. If I come back it is to purchase some of their togo products and drinks. But this definitely isn’t the acai place you want to go too

I come in here all the time, and typically the service is stellar and the product is always amazing. This morning I went in to get my usual, coconut cardamom smoothie and iced Americano with extra ice. My smoothie wasn’t even fully blended(photo below)…I’m actually having to eat it with a spoon and chew it. Then, she gives me my coffee hot(somewhere the extra ice just got completely ignored)…but honest mistakes happen. When I asked if she could just fix it, she called one of the other girls from the back and then proceeded to whisper and roll their eyes saying«we don’t do that here». Seeing as how I have an iced Americano every single morning, and from this place specifically every weekend, I can say with 100% certainty that they do it here. When I confirmed that had just had one yesterday from this same shop, I got a sassy response of «well what do they do, like poor the shot over ice?». I said that yes, I was pretty sure that was how that worked, and was met with the ever so charming response of «ohhhhhh» as they both just stared at me. Finally, completely deflated from having to try to communicate what an iced coffee consisted of, I just said give me the coffee and I can just poor it over ice when I get home.(Which should have been met with the response of «no of course not, we’ll fix it», but instead they just handed it to me and continued their conversation) I’m so unsatisfied with both of the items I ordered today… and not only is it upsetting to go out of your way in the morning to support the local small business that you love, spend 10 on a smoothie and then have the people working there 1) not know what they’re doing 2) have the worst and most unprofessional bad attitudes ever. Completely unacceptable and I hope the management can get the staff whatever additional menu training is required and establish/enforce some sort of customer service standards. However, I would like to add that the gentleman that usually works there on the weekends(can’t recall his name), is the ABSOLUTE most pleasant, professional, kind and helpful person! He always makes sure the customer is 100% happy and makes you feel welcome and like coming back over and over. The 2 young ladies that were there his morning made me feel like I was waking in on their jr. High gossip session and they certainly made sure I would pay for the interruption.

Why do I have to live so far away from here? Visiting from NY and was craving a juice & smoothie. We stumbled across this place and my husband and I are already craving to go back. I made my own juice(choose 7 option) and got the coconut kale smoothie which may have been the best smoothie we had ever tasted! Please open one in NYC!

This place is all about being fresh! Nutritious and delicious. Great place to come to before or after a workout. They juice right in front of you so you can see. The whole store is all about being natural. The bowls to the shots are amazing to try! My favorite is the Inner Beauty w/ginger ;) Cheers!

Awesome healthy juice bar located on 2nd Street, the heart of Belmont Shore. The health conscious person will enjoy the awesome selection of fruit juices, smoothies and snacks. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a healthy smoothie. The prices are pretty reasonable and the service is fast.

I have gone to Naturewell in Long Beach over 100 times and have all my receipts still to prove it. I usually get a vegan chocolate and order it for pick up almost every morning. The staff know my order as soon as I call. I go to naturewell cause the smoothies and acai bowls are amazing. Most of the time I am helped by this very sweet 20 something girl that works the cashier and makes smoothies. Shes absolutely amazing and knows how to make everything just the way I like it. Today I do my normal routine and called for a pick up order of a vegan chocolate and acai bowl. When I get there, I speak to my sweet friend at the cash register and she hands me my items. The acai bowl I had ordered was made a pitaya bowl(which is totally fine! People make mistakes) so I politely asked for her to make it the way I ordered and she said absolutey! Then I sipped my vegan chocolate(which I am very particular about and everyone that works there knows so) and it was very chunky with way too much coconut. So I asked her if she could remake it for me since she knows how I like it. And she said of course! I admit, I have returned a total of 3 out of the bagillion vegan choclates I have gotten because they were too chunky. So I wait outside while my items are being made and go back in and see my acai bowl on the counter so I go up and ask if my vegan chocolate is still being made and this 30 something spanish man in a bright blue shirt with black hair who always is working there comes up to me very rudely and askes«well, why do u need another one» and I said, «It was way too chunky with coconut, nothing against you I just like it a certain way, its okay she knows how to make it» and he then says very rudely«what are we suppose to do with the other one» and i said«well idk, i just would like the smoothie the way i always get it when i order» he then proceeded to ask me over again what was wrong with it and I began to get upset so I interupted him and said«my acai bowl is melting, i ordered this for pick up and i am still waiting in here, are you going to make my smoothie or not» and he said«im not gonna make it» so I turn to the sweet girl and ask her if she would make it and she says yes. As my acai bowl is melting I sit waiting for my smoothie and I ask the man who was rude to me for his name and he then said«no, you can come back here when my manager is working tomorrow» and i said«excuse me? You do not talk to a customer like that. Can i have your name» after about 5 minutes of us arguing back and fourth for his name he still refuses to give it to me. I tip the sweet girl that works at the counter and I say«this is for you, thank you for being such a great worker» and I turn to the man and say«you just lost a customer» and he yells and said«I DONTCARE, WEHAVEPLENTLYOFCUSTOMERSWEDONTNEEDYOU» and as i walked out filled with rage i wrongfully said«you can go fuck yourself» and to my surpise he yelled back in the middle of other customers«YOUCANGOFUCKYOURSELFTOOBITCH». And then upset to even eat my food I search the internet for a corporate number and there is no corporate, its owned by two owners and no numbers are listed. So I call a store in Silverlake and speak to a very sweet manager and told him my story and he said it was completely unacceptable, that from the very start he should have never asked me in such a rude way why i wanted a new smoothie and he proceeded to call the owner named Robert who then later called me. I get a call from Robert and he says«I was told you wanted to speak to me» and I told him the entire story and just by his reaction I could tell from the beginning he didnt really care what I had to say. He said he didnt want to lose me as a customer and then said«ya… the customer is always right or something» and asked«so what do you want, what can I do to make you happy» and I told him I would like to see displinary action on the man who was rude to me(in reality all i wanted was for Robert to be upset with me which he did not seem like he even cared” and he said«ya i will talk to him» and then said when i go back i can go to the manager the works there«shes knows you» he said(making it seem like i am a trouble customer) and continued to say i can get a free smoothie. Well you know what Robert, you can keep your smoothie cause the only thing good about the Long Beach Naturewell location is that very sweet girl that works the register, she should be the one owning that place. I have worked in customer service for 7 years and I even worked as a manager for a smoothie/juicebar for 4 years and under no circumstance would I ever treat a customer the way. The products on the shelves/fridge are terrible tasting. The customer service is an outrage. All they care about is money. And the smoothies are only good when done right. Just go to any other naturewell location. NEVERGOTOTHELONGBEACHLOCATION. Parking sucks there anyways. Go to TRUNATURE on broadway instead.

Natureswell is a really great health food store in Belmont Shore. It’s really great because there’s so much variety in terms of gluten free or vegan baked goods. As well as grab and go lunch items including wraps and sandwiches. Perhaps the two coolest perks of this shop are that they have fresh to order soooo this’s and juices. Second, they have fresh to order(by weight) almond and peanut butter. The staff is really friendly and super accommodating. They’re willing to explain their items thoroughly and don’t make you feel judged for not purchasing anything. The actual shop is really neat and tidy. Free and open to the public restrooms available. Although I’m singing so many praises for this establishment, I gave it a rating of three stars because most items are marked up to match the income of the area. Health food shouldn’t be expensive or inaccessible so that’s really off putting that ice cream, sugary yogurt, and doughnuts tend to be cheaper. There’s metered street parking and bike parking. Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a healthy treat and don’t mind paying a bit extra this is the place for you! Be sure to try their to order juice or almond butter! Just awesome!

I asked for the best tasting juice, since I try to be healthy, but when things taste like dirt I can’t drink it! I had the healthy heart one and it was pretty good. My juice came out fast and the workers seemed pretty nice. This place is really clean and has a good variety of smoothies, juices, and bowls. I will definitely come back if I am in the area.

Naturenotsowell is what they should have named this place. So this is the second time(yes, shame on me) that I have stood in front of this place within their Unilocal posted hours of operation and they’ve been closed. First time, store was totally dark by 8:30. This time, I’m actually watching two girls actively try to ignore me as I stand outside at 8:45, knocking on their door. Finally figuring that I won’t go away until I get an explanation, one worker sheepishly opens the door. She explains that they changed their hours months ago and they just haven’t updated on Unilocal. When asked what time they actually closed, she says 8:00. Oh! That explains it! Wait…no, it doesn’t. Hmmmmm. First of all, if any of that was true, update Unilocal already as standard good business practice(I notice that I am not the only one with this complaint). It is too easy to mine data from sites like Unilocal to improve little things in your business that make a lot of difference — like not have potential customers dumbfounded outside your store during posted business hours? Second, I find it suspicious that it’s 8:45 and you’re still cleaning? Anyone who’s worked at a retail store know that you don’t start cleaning after you shut your door… you start before. So if you were closed at 8 and, let’s give you the benefit of the doubt, started cleaning 15 minutes before, then you are telling me that you’ve been cleaning for an hour?! Gurl, purlease! So that’s it. Not gonna be a third time. Not gonna give this another thought. Jamba Juice is open until 9:30 — and they’re actually happy to stay open and take my money. Slurp!

I was hoping this place had good acai… I’ve been wanting to try this place since they opened but never made it down until a few days ago. When I entered this place, I was surprise with all the items they carry. They have Quest bars here! They also carry a lot of great organic items and I like them for that. It is very clean, open, and offer a great variety of juices, pre — packaged meals, and snacks. I ordered the acai bowl. The gal was very unenthusiastic there. I was reading their menu and saw that you get to choose your own granola base so I went to the granola section and saw that they offered a few good choices of granolas from organic berries to pumpkin granola. So I poured some into my cup and walked over to the counter. I told the gal it was my first time here and she didn’t care to ask or offer any suggestion. I ended up having to ask her what the acai bowl entailed. After ordering, I waited about 10 minutes and got my bowl. First thing I noticed was how watery it was… I added honey and left. The acai bowl isn’t tasty. It didn’t have any flavor. The only flavor I got were my toppings. I was disappointed. For almost $ 8 I only got 16 oz if that. Compared to Jujubar… I should have driven out there. If I decide to go back, I may just try their juice and not their acai bowl. Bummer.
