It’s two gals serving up delicious slow cooked pork on bao buns. Yeah, I’m not afraid to admit it, these gals are packing some hot buns. Just wait till you got them in your hands and about to bite in, then that’s when things get all sorts of steamy… Um yeah. Okay, let’s just lay it out there, these gals may not be as easy to get, but when they’re at an event or have their table set to sling some really delicious bao buns, you best get yourself in line cause they are something out of sight. The slaw they make is also really good. But the prize again goes to the slow cooked pork buns. I mean, they are damn fine. Their practice of not dealing with cash, but being a cash only establishment may make you scratch your head at first, but the way they come up with getting around being grabby is pretty solid and you can at least walk away knowing your food isn’t going to get you sick. Buns run you a five spot for two, but that’s well spent money if you value your taste buds. Again, if you got the chance to get your hands on their buns, go for it. they’re mouth watering.

My family and I are obsessed with Kut N’ Sow! The Soy Ginger Chicken and the Turbanado Pork with the sweet and spicy slaws are amazing! The steamed buns bring it home. Great price, great food and it becomes a craving after you’ve had a taste of it. The ladies there are super friendly too!

This is a delicious twist on Asian pork buns. Well worth the trip to Lunch Truck It on a wednesday. While you are there, try the caramel bacon brownie! Come early, as they sell out quickly!!!

Was walking through LB food truck day on wednesdays and found this awesome stand. Tried both the pork belly and chicken. The sauce on the chicken was amazing, i think it was ginger and soy based but i could be wrong. Tthis was my first time with pork belly, not knowing waht to expect, I found it to fatty. I thought the chicken was delicious and the slaw made it better

I really enjoyed the sandwiches-light, yet full of flavor. The customer service was very good. They are a little pricey for the size of the sandwiches and the slightly inconvenient location in my opinion, but worth it because I like supporting small, local businesses.

While browsing Unilocal,I came across this random little posting. I was a bit hesitant to find it at first, because I wasn’t sure if they would actually be around. But, like clockwork, on Wednesday from Noon to 4pm or when they run out, which they apparently do pretty quickly sometimes, this pop-up stand is in the parking lot of Vision Design Studio. There’s just two ladies that make and serve these yummy asian fusion bao buns, so it does get kind of busy, but they are very aware of their surroundings. I was standing around waiting for them to finish a couple of orders ahead of me, and although some people they knew walked up after me, they made it a point to say I was next. That was very nice of them. There’s two choices, roasted chicken or roasted pork belly. You have your pick of the slaw that goes on top, a cabbage apple slaw or a red onion radish jalapeño slaw. They use hoisin for the cabbage slaw and bbq sauce for the red onion slaw. And all of this goes inside a perfectly steamed bao bun. I decided on two pork belly bao buns with each slaw, since I just love pork belly to death. I wasn’t impressed with the pork belly. It wasn’t as tender as I typically like it, and was hard to bite all the way through. And I wish they gave more than just one small slice. The flavor was nice though. But I have to say both slaws were freakin awesome! They really make the overall bun experience fantastic. They also sell a couple bottled soft drinks such as mexi-coke, and a homemade lemonade. The day I was there, it was a mint lemonade for $ 1/cup. It probably needed to be more chilled or have some kind of ice option on the side, but it was definitely fresh-squeezed and not too sweet which suits my palate. There’s a bamboo steamer on the table that you just throw your money into. The girls don’t want to dirty their hands by handling cash, which is very considerate and sanitary of them. 2 bao buns for $ 5, CASHONLY. They’ll wrap it in foil to go for you as well, since there’s no seating area, or you can just stand around and eat. If I’m in the area on a Wednesday, I’ll definitely stop by still. Those slaws are just amazingly delicious! Maybe I’ll try the roasted chicken next time.

Been here twice now and based on the first visit(4 stars) and the 2nd visit(3 stars). Nothing to do with the food as far as the star change… just a little customer service issues. I know these ladies work very hard to provide these delicious little sandwiches and a little more attention to customer service would change my rating back to 4 stars. Serve the customers in line before family and friends who are milling about. They can eat when you open us or when the line is low or gone. Check to see if you are running low and let people know before whoops you’re out. Running out is a good thing… that means people like what you are doing and letting people know as they arrive that you are almost out rather than when making the last ones is a better way to service the customer. Will be back next Wed for sure albiet at 11:30a not 12:30p so that I don’t get what’s left in the pan but a true portion. I really hope you taking what I am saying as me trying to help you out, I really think what you ladies are doing is AWESOME. Your food is delicious and I love the mexi-cokes. Keep it up ladies! I am spreading the word on your behalf.

The stand is located in the parking lot of vision design studios Wednesdays only during lunch hours. The sandwiches are indeed tasty-an asian style steamed bun cradling slow roasted tender pork belly, with your choice of spicy radish topping or slaw apple(both delicious… add some bbq sauce, hoisin and you are off to the races. You get 2 small sandwiches for 5 dollars. Its a bit tough spending 5 dollars and not be completely full because of the small size of the sandwiches, but they are very good. They typically give away with the 2 for 5 some kind of home made drink, however today they were only selling bottled Mexican coke and Izze drinks for 2 dollars extra. The ladies are extremely friendly, which also doesn’t hurt.
