$ 1 chicken tacos, $ 1.25 asada tacos and they are good. We ate at the to-go window and they are open til 2am Friday &Saturday nights! Perfect for those late night munchies. The guy inside is really cool too. I’ve been there a few times and the only thing I didn’t like was the al pastor. MYFAVORITE! That’s why I give 3 stars. Bomb al pastor is necessary for 4+ ‘s.

Last week I came across it, late and was not feeling like ordering pizza or cooking since I was super tired. This tacos de lengua n asada hit the spot and moist and flavorful, I ordered some for my bf to go n he loved them, he is super picky so those tacos speak for themselves, next time we will eat in because they have a good menu with lots of choices or maybe order because it says they deliver

I was looking for a place in Long Beach that had good tostadas de camaron and tostadas campechanas. I usually go to Los Compadres restaurant for the shrimp tostadas but there was a huge line outside the los Compadres restaurant. I was so hungry that I didn’t want to wait long. My husband told me to search for a place on my Unilocal app and that’s how I found this place. This was my first time here I didn’t know what to expect. I ordered 1 shrimp tostada and one tostada campechana. My husband ordered 1 tostada campechana. We also ordered a michelada. My 13 year old son is not a big fan of seafood so he ordered the cheese burger special. My experience was great my tostadas were very fresh and tasty. The only thing that I regret was that I ordered two tostadas, I should’ve ordered one because they serve big portions. But at least I know next time I will order one only. The micheladas are really good they use plenty of clamato not like some places that water it down too much. My son said that his cheeseburger was also good. The price was super inexpensive, my bill came out to $ 35 plus tip for all this food. It would’ve been about $ 65 @ los Compadres. Although I’m not going to stop going to los Compadres, I will be coming here when I don’t want to wait long for food. So overall this place is good and it’s very affordable too, I will definitely come back to this place whenever I’m craving seafood.

Love the Micheladas here & the food! The Hubby and I come pretty often since we live around the corner. It’s our favorite go to stop when cooking is not an option! We have practically tried everything off the menu. this place is that good! My favor dish would be the Shrimp Enchiladas.

My bf and I always order from here. We come here so often, that they know us now. Customer services is usually pretty good each time that we came. There’s an opening at the back of the store next to the gas station that you can order. They have a small window there. We usually parked at the gas station and just order to go. The other weekend, we ordered tacos to go. I noticed as I got near the window to order they had the menu on the wall, that looks new. We order four chickens, four Barbacoas, and four lenguas. Barbacoa and lengua were good. The chicken was awful. The chicken was hard and dried. I couldn’t eat it. Overall, this is good and not expensive taco for under 1.50.

Tacos were good but they the did not fill each taco with meat which was very disappointing. looks like it from the picture but that’s what they want you to believe when it arrives to the table.

I was looking for a place to have some ceviche and possibly a drink. I came across this place on Unilocal, and although I didn’t see a lot of reviews, or pictures and it being on the rougher side of LB I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. It doesn’t have an attractive appearance but what’s that saying«it’s not what’s on the outside, it’s what’s on the inside that counts» or something like that. Said inside being the food and service. I love supporting small family owned businesses, and this one is well deserving. I will begin with Raquel. The owner, my goodness she is a gem. I have been there 2⁄3 times and she is so lovely. She gives off this motherly feel and is so friendly. Her kindness is refreshing. I recall going in one time, it was one of those bleh days. She took notice and handed me a paper napkin in which she wrote a little note for me. I thought that was the sweetest thing ever. If you are wondering what the note said «Everything comes to me with happiness, joy and glory» she told me to look at that and take hold of those words when things seem to not be so great. It was written in Spanish, so I hope I translated that correctly. I felt it was important to share on the review bc I think it speaks measures of this business owner. So pretty much the customer service is beyond and above than other places. I usually go on my lunch breaks, they make everything as you order so it is suggested that you order by phone if you are limited on time. Food: You are started off with chips and salsa. I have only tried their tostadas de ceviche and Tacos de carne asada. The ceviche is delicious, fresh and very well marinated. They serve it with avocado on the side which I love. Some places you have to pay extra for the avocado slices, but not here, it just comes with. The carne asada tacos were succulent. I can safely say the best carne asada tacos I have had in a long time. The meat was cooked just right and was seasoned to perfection. Drinks: Michelada. I am a fan of the Pacifico Michelada. I would go back just for that. It’s also super inexpensive $ 6 I plan to go back and try other dishes. I would recommend this place to anyone, but if you are picky about location and you only visit the higher end looking spots then unfortunately you’ll be missing out. Parking: Small lot shared with a few other businesses Pricing: Inexpensive Customer Service: Great –CASHONLY– They have an atm on site xoxo bonbon BonLove

Great place. Very authentic. The food was good. I had a tostada de jaiva, cocktel campechano, and oysters. Tosatada was packed with ceviche and tasty. Cocktel had a variety of shrimp, octopus, mussels. I always add lots of ketchup and tapatio. It was filling and I enjoyed it. The oysters were a little too warm. I like eating my oysters very chilled. The micheladas here come served in a huge mug with the cerveza bottle hanging from a holster pouring into your mug. Jukebox with lots of Mexican tunes. The sweetest little girl was our waitress. Family run restaurants are the best. If I am ever in the are I would return.

Did not realize how close I was to the place and WOW. Ugh so happy that I got some ethnic yummy Mexican cuisine at the right price and woweeee the better than right size! Seriously, HUGE burrito. Half of the burrito was about the size of my hand. I’ve lived in California my whole life and I know burritos, this was on the top of the list! I got ½ camaron ½ asada(shrimp and beef) and just amazing is all you need to know! Yum!

I came for michaladas, and my first to be exact. The prices are very affordable and the lady working the bar was super nice and helpful. I had a local aka«my Cruz» help me out with the michalada ordering. Imagine a bloody Mary mixed with sparkling water, its basically a lighter version of a bloody Mary with a beer on top. Definitely a good new drink I’ll be asking around in Dallas more often.

Best tacos this side of the border! It is important not to fill up on the chips and salsa because once you order their tacos you’ll wish you weren’t that full to eat more. The carne Asada tacos are delicious. The tripe tacos are perfectly crunchy and greasy enough to coat the lining of you stomach. Wash these down with a Negra modelo and you can go straight to sleep. On Fridays you might find entertainment by a local magician. Eat tacos, drink beer and relax:)

Recently stumbled upon this spot. This is your classic, Southern Califas«hole in the wall» Mexican spot. This is not a place for bouji people. Their food is inexpensive and pretty legit. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to mariscos(seafood) and this place has it right. I usually drive up to LA when I’m craving mariscos, but I think I will be staying in LBC now. The shrimp ceviche is bomb. I haven’t tried the tacos yet, but I will be likely be going back soon. They also have a standard selection of Mexican beer… coronas, modelos, etc. As for the restaurant décor, the best way to describe it is stereotypical and colorful, with awesome pictures of badass Aztec warriors lining the walls and a fountain right in the middle, hence the name. There are several booths that are kind of broken down along the North wall, but that’s how you know it’s legit. There is also bar seating right against the ordering counter on the south wall. As for entertainment while you eat, there is a jukebox loaded with Mexican music, as well as TVs that usually have Spanish channels on them. TLDR; Great hole in the wall Mexican spot that I will likely be frequenting from now on.
