Visited this restaurant while visiting the area. The server was very attentive. It was pretty attentive but it was the middle of the week when I went. I had the garlic chicken which came with fries, rice, and salad. I didn’t know it was a cream based sauce so I was surprised but it was very good. The portions are large with enough to take home for another meal. My friend had the sirloin steak and shrimp, she enjoyed the steak but stated her shrimp tasted strange. I didn’t try it so I can’t speak to much about that.

The service here was terrible. The general manager was abrasive, rude and clearly was a novice to the customer service industry. To make matters worse I got food poisoning from the meal. Overall I was disgusted by the service we received and strongly believe that this restaurant will go out of business in the near future(especially if the current GM remains employed).

Absolutely fantastic! Food was excellent with large portions. Spices were just right, with extras on the side if you wanted more. Service was top notch, and they even had live music. Our new favorite Portuguese, Brazilian restaurant. We will be going back soon!

What a great lunch! I had a grilled skirt steak perfectly cooked medium rare. It was tender and full of flavor. The French fries were fresh and nice and hot. My lunch date had oxtail stew. It was so good we ordered one to go. We are finishing up with cappuccino and flan. We both enjoyed our meals very much. Wait staff was very polite and attentive.

Really good Portuguese food, not recommended for families with small children as it is a local bar. Also has great sangria!

4 stars would be a review that would represent the food and the service because both were excellent. Unfortunately however this place is an old bar and I just cannot give it 4 stars based on this, and this alone. I would not hesitate coming back here but I would not bring my misses here.

Went there last year after a friend recommended it. The service was slow, and the food was just okay. It is more of a Brazilian sports bar than a Portuguese restaurant(which is what I was expected so might have affected my opinion as well).

Yummy in tummy. Great Spanish cuisine here with a touch of family to it. Food brings me back to my aunts home with the smell of cilantro & the best Sangria in all of Ocean County.

Good food and reasonably priced drinks. I normally go here with a Portuguese friend of mine when Portugal is playing in a soccer game. The crowd is mostly Brazilian/Portuguese and cheers mostly for these countries. So if you hail from a different country, the fans are going to be mostly one sided. The food is great, and they keep a list of hand written items on a sheet of paper. As the evening progresses, they strike out the dishes they run out of one by one. So if you see something you like, either order it right away or ask the waiter to keep it for you for later. Lots of TV screens to watch sports. I went once to watch the NJ Devils play, and the wonderful bartender Christiano gladly put the game on for me. Though, it was mostly my friend and I watching the game :-P

Everyone speaks Portuguese, its a great place to watch soccer, but kinda biased because they only have on Portuguese leagues on, domestics are fairly cheap, not imports
