Great food and the bartenders are awesome. I never make it past the specials menu, there is always something delicious on it

Love this place. Nice neighborhood bar with great food. Best part is they serve their full menu until 2am unlike other places.

I really don’t like this place, only reason I go is because my aunt likes this place & she usually pays. Their food isn’t bad, just nothing to write home about. I always get a burger & always regret it. Dry, usually not very seasoned, always served on a Kaiser roll which is the worst bun for a burger, unless you’re at a deli. BURGERSSUCKONKAISERROLLS! It is too much dry bread for a burger. Why do they have no other buns! Other than a pretzel bun. One time I decided to order chicken fingers/nuggets can’t remember what they were but they were beyond burnt. So crappy dry burger it is when we go. My sangria was DELICIOUS, also the pea soup was very good. Service is alright, wait time is ridiculous, & you’re always right on top of other people. No room in this place. No place to wait either. The ladies restroom is 1 stall & a sink right next to it. There is a 1 inch gap in the ladies room stall, so while you’re sitting on the toilet you can literally make eye contact with the next person waiting while they look at themselves in the mirror. Also you have to walk through a semi kitchen area to get to the restroom you feel like you’re invading on employee space, which they probably have less of than us. Really I’d rather eat somewhere else. Pretty pricey, & not impressive. Sorry. If I had to give constructive criticism it would be, close down & remap this restaurant, order some regular buns for burgers, & fix the gap in the ladies room stall.

Started out with the Crab Meltaway appetizer it was very good and it was a decent portion. I ordered the garden burger. Everything was good. Prices are decent.

Solid burgers and sandwiches. Dinners are pricey, however(nothing under $ 17). Cheddar sauce is a must. Great neighborhood pub.

First time at The Pour House for Happy Hour and I’m impressed. Great bar food, inexpensive drink specials. I will make this my new go to Happy Hour spot.

So I am going to take the time to give a review based on 2 experiences with take out food because they really just need to do better. First Time: Ordered a Taco Salad($ 10.99) on their online menu. Went to pick it up, got it back to my office… No Cheese. Who wants to eat Taco Salad with no cheese? So whatever, I called them and told them, they said sorry but that was about it. Didn’t offer me some of my money back or maybe stop by later and we’ll give you another. Nope nothing. I had no time to go back because I was in business meetings all day. Second Time: Today — I thought I’d give it another try with the Taco Salad. Went to pick it up and saw that my bill was almost $ 14. I realized that they charged me like $ 12.30 or something for the salad. Before the man ran my card, I told him that the salad says $ 10.99 on their website. He told me that he would adjust the price. I get the receipt and it says $ 11.29 plus tax so it’s over $ 12. I went ahead & paid without telling him again because I didn’t want to nickel & dime but this is just dumb. Needless to say the salad isn’t worth all this trouble and I’ll stick with Mumford’s where the food is expensive but well worth it and none of this hassle.

Everything was ok. Good drink specials, but the margaritas were just ok(frozen mixer). Food was a bit over priced but decent portions.

The Pour House for me is really hit or miss. Today I loved my Cubano sandwich but previously I have gagged at their Baby Shrimp Salad. However– their French Onion Soup is always really on point– I order it every time I go. Definitely worth a go if you aren’t trying to drive/park in downtown Red Bank but I wouldn’t call it stellar by any means

Really hit or miss. .. Came here last night for Dinner. Weekly Wednesday Special Feature is Prime Rib. All out at 8pm :(So, I ordered the Pork Chops with pesto, panko bread crumbs and mozzarella cheese — very mediocre at best. Small baked potato was served with butter pc’s too.

Ordinarily I would not review a place based on a visit without food but drinks only but here I’ll make an exception. Two cheap and skimpy sized wine glasses of just a run of the mill J Lohr chardonnay, with tax and tip over $ 25. What a ripoff this place has become. Their wine list nonexistent — their ambiance and music, third rate. Don’t waste your time and money…

They’re celebrating cinco de mayo. Fun atmosphere and very good for a bar. Ordered pei mussels as appetizer. Their sauce was so rich and tasty I had to ask for bread so I could soak the rest of the juices up. Afterwards I had a classic burger and it came with coleslaw, chips and a pickle. My burger had mushroom and onions. Delectable!!! Will come back to sample other things. Wish I could have given 3 ½ stars. One star minus because the waiter kept forgetting to refill my coffee. They only refill soda and coffee once. I couldn’t even get him to do that. Thankfully the manager saw me trying to flag the waiter down and refilled it for me. Then I had to ask for water and that was another interesting time.

First time eating here and the food is superb! I ordered a chicken panini and my friend ordered a cheeseburger and we split our meals. The bruschetta app we ordered was one of the best I’ve had. I would totally recommend this bar/restaurant to anyone looking for s satisfying meal. The staff is extra polite as well.

Let’s be honest, this is a place to drink. Good prices at happy hour. But keep the food simple, I.e., bar food, and basic stuff: free popcorn, fries. If you want good food AND a drink there are many better places in the area.

I only really come here for happy hour so my review is strictly about the bar. Above average bar with a good selection of beers, including craft. At happy hour they offer a number of appetizers for $ 5 which have never disappointed. We usually choose the buffalo calamari, nachos or the buffalo wings. They also have a popcorn machine which is serve your own, which is always nice when you want something small to snack on while having a drink.

Thinking this may be a five star. Buffalo chicken soup. Yummmmy 3.99 special drink. 3 rum punch. Doing good. Fried cod fish with Mac and cheese. Steak crab cakes for Pete. They do it right here. Come hungry.

The sangria special on Saturday tasted like fermented fruit, it was not good and was sent back. The cubano sandwich was a soggy, greasy disaster. The Portuguese roll broke in two pieces from being toasted. Coleslaw served on side was warm. Roasted pork in sandwich was very dry and had a funky plastic taste. Not worth $ 14.99 price. Fries were good and my husband loved his cheeseburger.

It is warm and cozy like Cheers with great food. We went here to watch college football and fell in love with the place. As we walked in the rustic wood work and prominent bar/grill shows the its charm. The bartenders saw that we were wearing college pride and easily shot the breeze with us even though we were supporting rival teams. The 6 beers they had tap were absolute quality so we picked the Samual Adams winter lager. We found ourselves in the beginning of the 4 – 7PM happy hour on a Saturday, so we picked 3 appetizers from the $ 5 menu. Two of us could not finish the delectable spinach artichoke dip, pot stickers, and bruschetta. The only detraction is that the bar TVs were a little older, but with everything else so good we hardly noticed.
