Love this place grate pasta and salad, average wine selection. The staff is hit or miss most the time it’s good but there was a few time I was there when it was slow an I still had it wait forever for refills and to order.

«Chicken Parm you taste so Good!» I was hesitant about trying an Italian restaurant in a strip mall, but very glad we did. I think we found our go-to Italian spot. We are from the east coast where every other restaurant is pizza or Italian. Italian restaurants are definitely harder to come by in Colorado. We were seated right away and had a very friendly waitress. We didn’t have to wait long at all for our entrees, very speedy service especially for a Saturday night. The homemade pastas were fantastic! I got the chicken parmesan which was a very hearty serving, had plenty for lunch the next day. My husband tried the trio with lasagna, Alfredo, and spaghetti and meatballs. I was also a fan of the marinara. I honestly enjoyed everything. The only thing subpar was the Italian dressing for my dinner salad. Overall, this restaurant is right up there with my favorite East-coast Traditional Italian joints. Oh and prices are very reasonable for the hearty portion sizes. We will definitely be back to try more!

We found this restaurant in a strip mall and didn’t have high hopes based on some if the reviews. But we were hungry and just went for it. Glad we did! Homemade bread with garlic herb hitter was delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs wee really flavorful. One of the best I’ve had. The Italian sub was pretty good as well. Kids’ meals were very reasonable priced, as we’re all the entrees. Would come again if we find ourselves in the area again.

This used to be one of our favorites … But now my wife and I won’t go here anymore. Mediocre service and they lack attention to detail on the food and consistency. Very sad because this place used to be awesome.

Right from the time we walked in the door there was turmoil between the servers as to who’s turn it was(apparently to get the table). I asked for a glass of the house Cabernet, assuming they have one-no wine list provided? I stated again the Cabernet, a water and my husband ordered Ice Tea. Waitress returns with a glass of white wine, no water, no sweetener for the tea(or even asked if needed). When asked about the wine she stated, «Oh she made me the wrong one”-my thought is YOU delivered it to the table. Now we are off to the races. The short of it is 1) bread was wonderful-plates had to be returned, by me-they had food stuck all over the edges!-yuk 2) my husband’s glass was dirty-unfortunately not visible until he had already drank some of his tea-yuk 3) We were charged extra for chicken on the Pesto Linguine-which on the menu shows it comes with chicken. 4) Food was marginal. We had so enjoyed this local establishment in the past. Sad to say, it is no longer.

I ordered a Chicken Piccata. It was disgusting. There was about a quarter inch of watery slop at the bottom of the plate, the chicken was overdone and rubbery and the sauce looked like tomato paste from a can. I sent it back to the kitchen and the waiter gave me a lot of attitude about it. My wife can make better Italian in her sleep. These people have no passion for food, let alone Italian. It’s clear that Longmont has no idea what good Italian is.

My wife and I have been going here for 30 years ! It has always been a very good diner place. I had one bad sandwich at lunch, it was just lacking in ingredients . Diners have always been good, the bread and butter is special, pizza is good(thin crust). There is one thing though the homemade blue chesee dressing is not as good as it used to be, when Kent owned the place he took great care to make very good blue cheese with lots of chunky blue cheese, now it’s only OK . Other than that it is a great local place to eat.

First time here. I try to visit restaurants without reading any of their reviews, but maybe I should have with this place. We chose this place as it was a neutral meet up between my friend from Fort Collins and us from Denver. We arrived about 20 minutes before he did, and were promptly seated and served water with bread and butter and mentioned that, our server would be right with us. We saw him maybe three times waiting on the tables that were adjacent to us, and each time he made eye contact but failed to stop by, say hello, or even acknowledge that we were there. Finally, after dropping off food for his 4 top, he came over and took our drink orders and appetizer order. The drinks came out quick, but that’s about it. Our friend joined us shortly after our drinks were served and we ordered our entrees, salads, and more drinks. Give it another 20 minutes, our server comes out with our drinks and salads. Confused, I ask, «how’s our appetizer?» He says, «oh yeah, it’s coming, they’re working on it.». He clearly forgot to put the order in. During our salad intake, the table sitting catty corner to us decided to change their child’s soiled diaper in the booth. I had to do a double take to confirm that I saw a baby’s soiled behind and a small pair of testicles. Soon after, the smell of baby wipes drifted through the dining room. That was a first. So the food comes out(still no appetizer) but it’s pleasantly acceptable. The veggie calzone was hot and fresh, friends chicken florentine was light on the sauce and the chicken, but still edible, and the partners lasagna was luke warm but still flavorful. Finally, the artichoke dip came out as we were nearly finished with our entrees, the server was a good sport and hooked it up for free. After finishing our entrees, we decided to get the raspberry ricotta dessert. Well apparently they don’t serve it anymore so we settled on a lemon raspberry cheese cake. Anyway, this place must be hit or miss, and we honestly missed it. The décor was nice, but the service needs an intervention. TLDR; shotty service, diaper changing at the booth, comped appetizer.

Food average. Service below average, seemingly indifferent. Never got asked to refill water or tea. Might sweep the floor.

Well it seems that it all depends that it really depends on the server that you get here. Our server took our orders quickly after we got seated. However we have been sitting her for 25 minutes with empty glasses, no food, and he has not come to check on us once. The table behind us though. Their server is excellent. They got a a refill on bread, their food, two drink refills and great service. I just had to ask their server for a refill… well food is here.

It’s too bad that you have to wait 10 minutes to be seated in a restaurant that’s ¼ full. Good food though

I’ve given this restaurant a few tries now, and I think the biggest issue is consistency. Some stuff is okay — the bread is always tasty, but it’s just white bread and some butter, not hard to mess up. Main, though, again is the issue of consistency. One time I got the shrimp scampi and I was in LOVE. Delicious papardelle pasta, lovely light lemony garlicky sauce, and big shrimp. Perfection on a plate. But the next time I got it… a lumped up mass of pasta glue, a couple of anemic shrimp, and barely any of the sauce I was craving. I figured this was a matter of timing, but every time since(3 times over the last 6 months or so) the same thing has happened. Ditto the other pasta dishes; sometimes the lasagna is to die for; other times it tastes like Stouffers. And so I can’t really give it one star; on occasion it’s stellar! But not knowing what I’m going to get means I can’t possibly give them more than 2. So stop in… but keep your expectations low!

My husband and I LOVE eating here. The servers are very friendly and even though the restaurant looks«iffy» due to its location in a strip mall, once you step inside it is a lovely place with a very nice atmosphere. Comfortable booths for sitting, clean, welcoming ambiance. The food is absolutely delicious! Homemade bread and herb butter comes with every meal. Same for the yummy salads with homemade dressings. The pastas are absolutely delicious-spaghetti made in house and sauces that you want to lick the plate for! The best part? You get all of this for about $ 12/person. So much food for the price!

Nice surprise in Longmont! Try it! The meal started out with fresh baked bread served with seasoned butter, followed by a perfectly chilled salad with homemade salad dressing and homemade croutons. And then came our entrée with sizeable portions, perfectly cooked al dente pasta with just the right amount of sauce. Overall great meal! Don’t keep driving by. Stop and eat and support local eateries. It was about 80% occupied during our dinner on a week night.

I have been a regular here and I like the food. The past three visits have been terrible service. The staff had an attitude. Monday night is all you can eat spaghetti and I like the patio seating. They told us tonight«we don’t have any forks». Kinda hard to eat spaghetti with your fingers.

Ordered take out and had the spaghetti with meatballs and the ravioli marsala. The spaghetti is home made and thick style noodles, so make sure you like those. If you’re a fan, these noodles were ok(the take out had the noodles a little overcooked, not sure if they would be the same had I eaten in). The sauce was thick, which I liked, but not a whole lot of it. Next time I will order and extra side of sauce. The meatballs were huge and had decent flavor, but I have had more flavorful meatballs. The sauce was also on the bland side. A decent place for local mom and pop location at a decent price. The ravioli marsala, the ravioli are again homemade and delicious. The marsala sauce was a bit over powering half way through the meal and detracted from the ravioli. A little too heavy on the marsala. Overall just an ok place. I would go back, but have found more flavorful sauces at Pinocchio’s.

We like this place! The food is filling and reasonably priced. The bread with garlic butter is really yummy, and the portion are huge– we always have leftovers. The food is not the fanciest or best Italian you will find, but on nights we feel like being lazy and not cooking it hits the spot and doesn’t hurt the wallet. This place is neither pretentious or pompous, it has a nice relaxed feel. Service is very friendly though occasionally a bit slow, but the waiters don’t bother you incessantly like some places, which is nice. Best gluten free pasta in the area, tasty spaghetti, tasty lasagna. Side salad is very good with lots of vegetables and croutons. We will be back!
