I’ve had sushi from California to New York to Japan and all in all this place was good for Texas.
Service was great but food came out a little slow.

Fugi has the best hand rolls in town. My absolute favorite sushi place for lunch. Their lunch specials are unbelievable. Staff is very friendly and knows who I am and my order when I walk in the door. If you like RAW sushi… This is the place to go. My favorite is the spicy tuna roll.
If you sit at the bar, they automatically give you a complementary salad with shredded crab and spicy mayo

I really enjoy my 1st time at fuji, clean, friendly and the sushi was delish… I definitely will be back here and enjoy this great place… my server keep my ice tea fresh and ask me several time if everything g was ok or I need anything…

The hostess seated me upon arrival swiftly. I say for 15 minutes and didn’t hear from my server at all. Couldn’t place an order for my drink. Heck I didn’t even know who my server even was. I got up to walk out. The hostess asked if everything was okay. I then told her my issue. My problem was corrected and from that point on my service was superb. The food was amazing! Well worth the price, a bit in the high side.

Great sushi, nice lunch specials! Tempura shrimp & Philadelphia roll were amazi-​rolls!!!
Though I do have two complaints, sorry…
The miso soup was horrific. Right when he sat it down, I took a whiff and about vomited. I have had miso from dozens of places, never once have I had spoiled soup!!! Took a couple bites and pushed it to the side since I don’t send food back.
Ordered dessert afterwards. Now $ 6 for 3 tiny mochi green tea ice cream drops… Umm that’s a tad expensive! I could see if they were made in house or big but they were neither. Then on top of that, they decorated it with yucky, fake cool whip and chocolate syrup… Ick! Don’t ruin my mochi!!!

Benign environs. Ordered a combination platter.
The salad should have been called a soup, since it was swimming in dressing. A peculiar roll arrived, and it was inedible due to how horribly sweet it was. Then I received the platter, which was adequately displayed with sushi, sashimi.
The nori was so tough, it was like chewing on a rubber sole, let alone trying to digest it.
I mentioned this to the server, she smiled and walked off. English seemed to be a difficult hurdle that she hadn’t yet conquered.

I was super excited to go here when I saw they served the tiger roll. It is my absolute fave! Unfortunately, they doused it with too much eel sauce which over-​powered the roll and ruined it. The only bonus is they serve your order on a boat. I’ve had better…

An excellent addition to the Longview food scene. High quality sushi rolls and the sashimi deluxe is superb.
Fast and friendly service and a cozy environment belying the fact it is love cared in a strip mall.
You can also choose a wide variety of hibachi offerings of sushi or sashimi are not your thing.
The full service bar is well stocked and they make one of the best electric iced teas I’ve ever tasted. Cleanse your palate with the green tea ice cream.
Quieter than Shoguns and much more reasonably priced. Truly wonderful place without the noise of similar teemed restaurants.

They have good lunch specials were you pick two rolls with a salad or soup for $ 11. Overall decent sushi rolls. Never had any of the speciality rolls but they look amazing.

Haven’t tried too many other places in town besides GZ’s but the California and Rush Hour rolls were amazing. My wife and I will definitely be coming back. Pretty decent prices for the whole sushi selection. Right down the road from the house makes this place one of our new favorites!!!

I stopped in while traveling and was surprised to find such a great sushi place in this small town in Texas. The sushi was fresh and the service was excellent. I came here on a Sunday night and it was not busy. I ordered the tiger roll, seaweed salad and chef’s choice. He prepared a very fresh piece of sea bass and a crab salad. The seaweed salad and sushi rolls were great. I would definitely come back.

Yup it’s good. The restaurant is modern and the quality is outstanding. Who would have thunk it! :) in the middle of Texas is a great sushi place. I enjoy sushi and finding a brood sushi place is hard but finding a great sushi place is even harder. Thank you for it is great!

THE freshest, most flavorful dishes without all the heavy sauces and seasonings. They let the flavors of the foods really shine. Lovely atmosphere and presentation of dishes. DEFINITELY will come here again. Specialty rolls were off the chart fresh. This place is worth the search for the locale. Do dessert! Even if you don’t usually.

Very good sushi. Reasonable prices — basic sushi rolls like California, tuna, etc were around $ 6. Specialty rolls were $ 12 or more. Large variety to choose from. The whole menu was more varied than I expected — they offer a lot more than just sushi.
Atmosphere was nice & fairly relaxed.
Good selection of wine, beer, sake & cocktails.

Amazing service and PHENOMINAL sushi!!! Family of 5 ate a delicious meal for a reasonable price for Sushi. 2 huge wood sushi boats loaded with signature and common rolls!
This is gonna be a hot spot in Longview for sushi! A must try. They have been open for only a week and this place is great!
