Very good Japanese food without paying the high price for the cooking show at other restaurants. I have been 3 times, 1 for lunch and 2 for dinner, the meals have been great. I have not tried any of the sushi.

Amazing food for such an awesome price! The food was delicious! And I had the sweetest waitress that made the experience even better! I will be coming back! (very soon lol)

We usually don’t go to new places too soon, because we want to give them time to settle in and be running smoothly. Sumo has only been open for 5 weeks, but we decided to give it a go. The parking lot was packed and we had to wait for a table. Good sign! We decided on sushi this visit and try hot dishes next time. We started with steamed dumplings, followed by soup and salad. This all arrived promptly and was good. While we waited for our three rolls, we watched others get hot dishes and drink refills. The hostess finally came by and got us refills. Our waitress had stopped checking on us, apparently embarrassed it was taking so long for the rolls. Just before, they let us know that one we ordered couldn’t be made. Did we want to order another? Sure. We got the first two and waited again. The third finally came. We didn’t see our waitress again until after another, Haley, settled our check. Haley was quite friendly and explained the sushi chef was really slammed tonight, as a lot of people were ordering sushi.
In the end, we had plenty to eat, the food was good, the price was great, and we will be back to try the hibachi and other hot dishes.

Best rice I’ve ever had! Great prices. We had the Lunch Box. Came with your choice of soup or salad. I had the salad.(loved the dressing) I picked the chicken. It came with a large portion of chicken, fried rice, 4 pieces of California roll sushi (wonderful) 2 pieces tempura shrimp & 2 pieces of fried pork dumplings. $ 11. You can also get steak or shrimp but it a 1 $ or 2 more. & don’t forget the Sexy Sauce!

Great food good price. The only down was it took forever to get a refill on my hot green tea. Other than that it was great.

Wow what a great new place. Good food at a great price. Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, potatoes, noodles, soup and salad all for $ 9.00. My wife had the same thing but filet mignon for $ 14.00. The steak was melt in your mouth tender.

Food was delicious. Service was great. Not nearly as expensive as one would expect. You are given a good portion of food.

We were very excited to try this place. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. They had a lunch menu as well. Great selection of rolls, we tried the red dragon and a couple of the regular rolls. All tasted great and I really like the consistency of the sushi rice here. My boyfriend really liked his bento lunch box. There were some kinks in service that is expected with all new places. We will definitely be back for some more food!

So glad we came, what a find! The food was all great, the fried rice was fabulous. My husband ordered the hibachi filet mignon meal which came with salad, soup, fried rice, noodles, and a choice of vegetable. We wondered what was going to come out since it was only $ 14 and it was great. The potatoes are wonderful too. VERY generous portions! We will be back and have some sushi rolls the next time. Oh…and a glass of great chardonnay for only $ 6
