Absolute A+ food and service. I go there once a week.

I don’t do normally this. I don’t usually give 5 stars to a restaurant that I’ve gotten delivery from twice. Y’all know — I’m picky AF. But you know what, Anarbagh? YOU F*&%@NGDESERVEIT. So, seriously? Someone who made this food *loves* this food. Body buzz from this meal. No I didn’t do any drugs beforehand. My man is even pickier than I am, and we high fived each other during the meal. More than once. — Clean — Explosions of flavor — Arrived hot — Perfect cook times (i.e. food consistency was exactly as it should have been) — NOTGREASY — Delivery in under an hour — Reasonably priced I mean… You want this.

Located next to a convenience store with a very small parking lot, walk in and it is a formal setting with dim lighting, maroon décor, bench and table seating with linen napkins and table cloths. They have an extensive menu with authentic dishes. I went for the eggplant bharta and wife got the chicken tikka masala. Basmati rice did not come with the entrees, which I thought was odd and cost $ 3 per portion. I wasn’t so happy about that. The chicken tikka masala was pretty good. I found the sauce to be a tad runny/thin. The sauce flavor was good, but the chicken chunks were a bit too dry. For the eggplant bharta, I ordered it spicier and it delivered. Nice kick of integrated spice. Great flavors and texture. I devoured mine. So overall, it was a bit more upscale ambiance and price-wise than I expected, and I think when that is the situation the food needs to also be better than what you could get at a more casual place. In this case, I thought the tikka masala, a core dish to excel at, was hitting that 3-star level. I do need to give credit to the staff here, though, who were very professional and courteous. You could even have a romantic date night here believe it or not.

I only judge an Indian place by its Chicken Tikka Masala, since that’s what I get everytime. The Tikka Masala at this place is sub par. The Sauce is very watery. Like, there was literally water sloshing around in my bowl after eating a portion of it. I ordered medium spicy, my friend ordered mild, and they tasted exactly the same(which is to say, not spicy at all). The chicken was dry and nothing to write home about. If this place was cheap, i’d say it was worth it, but it’s not. It’s actually really expensive. Two orders of chicken, two orders of naan(the one thing that was actually good) and one order of rice was $ 45. Holy crap. Again, can’t speak for anything else at this place, but if Tikka Masala is your thing, avoid.

I love this place. I happened to go in one time out of curiosity and was super-pleasantly surprised. I’ve been twice now. Food is quite authentic, it’s clean and cute and the service is great — plus the prices are completely reasonable!

First time I came here on my birthday in February with my husband and son, the place was nice and clean, the stuff is really friendly, we took a seat at the back in the main room and asked for some candles for the cake that we had brought with us. After the candles were on we order the mix appetizer for 2(without checking the description) Mix grill, and the chicken Tikka masala. We were expecting the appetizer to be vegetarian but to our big surprise it had pieces of kebab which made my hubby very happy, cause we were so hungry. The samosa, and the pakora were absolutely out of this world, but the kebab wasn’t fresh, had a funny taste. Then ch. tikka masala came, it was ok(that is because I miss the way my hubby would cook it for me,(Light, creamy, buttery) that taste I cant find it anywhere)), it tasted like ch. with LOT of tomato sauce. But that’s my experience, this is how most places they cook it ANDTHATSOK!!! And we never got our Mix Grill, the waiter didn’t know anything about mix grill that we order, guess that was our mistake, probably we didn’t make it clear, so we decided not to order it cause we were full and we actually thought that good thing it didn’t come cause the appetizer meat didn’t feel fresh. Anyway we loved the atmosphere and we left happy. Second time we came for samosa’s the lamb one was great, never tried it before so we loved it, will keep coming back. 5 Stars for the effort the Owner and Stuff put to keep this place so neat, clean, professional, for the effort to make every person happy(which no meter how hard you try, you can’t, we had our restaurant, I know from experience !).

Spectacular Indian food, affordable prices, very friendly staff. The vegetable korma is my favorite in all of LA, delicious Naan bread. Definitely try this hidden gem of Los Feliz! Great for quick pick-up as well on a lunch break.

The first thing that sticks out when you walk through Anarbagh is that the ambiance and the plush booths are beautiful. Nice artwork and friendly staff and service make this a great dining experience. Anarbagh has a very extensive menu, which is why several combination options are much appreciated. There’s an assorted appetizer platter(for two) of samosas, crispy onion bhaji, chicken tikka, lamb tikka and ground lamb seekh kebab. You can add on a soup — lentil and veggie mulligatawny — and perhaps a salad. A good third of the menu is vegetarian, with wonderful menu options served with cauliflower, mushrooms, eggplant, okra, lentils, peas, spinach and potatoes. Chicken and lamb dominate as well, with a large section of the menu offering a choice of chicken or lamb for every dish. Complimentary papadum crackers are served with a pair of sauces and a ramekin of pickled carrots and peppers. The lentils with garlic and creamed spinach– shahi paneer and cheese and eggplant with onions and peas was unique and fantastic. The flavors of all the dishes and sauces were outstanding. They have a great variety of sauces and spices to go with any dish. Overall, it’s a great Indian cuisine experience in Los Angeles that you can enjoy with friends and family.

This place serves delicious and good quality Indian food. I particularly love their chicken tikka and chicken tikka masala. Their naan bread is also a must try! The restaurant itself might not be in the most romantic location but the food most definitively makes up for it. Outstanding service too.

What a great Indian spot! I live only a couple of blocks away and I really enjoy coming here! They deliver speedily and they are always very nice. It’s not usually very busy in there and has a fancy vibe. It’s a little pricey, but I love that I always have leftovers! I love their: Saag Dahl, Garlic Naan, Cheesy Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala — Oh and their Mango Lassi’s are delicious!

Holy Cow!!! I was hesitant to order from here simply because I was a die hard electric lotus fan from way back when. Then they moved and the last time I was at electric lotus I felt it was overpriced and not so great. So I ordered from here tonight for delivery. And it was some of the best Indian I have had in ages. My husband and son along with me are now loyal to this place! Had Lamb which was excellent and Butter Chicken which was the best I have ever had.

Pretty good Indian restaurant in the Los Feliz area. Excellent service and good quality food. Prices aren’t too bad. Parking is a little difficult but they have a few spots. Try the Chicken Tiki Masala. Portions are a bit smaller than most Indian spots.

I am a big fan of Indian food and this place satisfied my craving for it! We had a large group of 10 people, so we sat at 2 different tables because none of the tables were large enough. Once we were seated, they gave us crackers with a couple of dipping sauces for it. I thought all the curry and tandoori chicken tasted great! The curry is placed right above a candle to keep it warm. We also ordered garlic naan which was so fluffy and flavorful. The waiter was very nice and gave us complementary dessert at the end! I’ve never had it before, but it was super delicious. This restaurant has great service and great food! You can check in to get 10% off if you order at least $ 30!

This restaurant is tucked in a corner next to a 7 Eleven. The service was exceptionally nice and quite attentive. Talking with our server, Gaurav, who is from New Delhi, I found that he did not eat with his fingers and used a spoon especially when eating rice and a fork when appropriate. That blew my old ideas. He did an excellent Job and I hope his mother can read this in New Delhi. If we understood correctly and by the way is English was great, his mom is a cop and a really good cook. The atmosphere is pleasant. There is a soft music in the background and people chatting and consuming the large portions. As for us, we will have lunch tomorrow of lamb and veggies…

I had been eyeing this place for a while. New Indian food restaurant in the hood! THEAMBIANCE: Anarbagh is very small and intimate. There are both booths and tables. The décor is very nice, especially the ceiling, which has gold-colored designed plates. Anarbagh is right next to 711 in a small plaza with super limited parking. I am not sure if some of the parking spots say«Reserved for 711 Customers» or something along those lines because we took an Über. THEFOOD: The food is delicious! Definitely two(2) thumbs up! We ordered Calamari Rings as an appetizer, the Chicken Tikka Masala Dinner(boneless chicken tikka sauteed in creamy masala gravy with tomatoes, $ 15.95), Mixed Tandoori Grill Dinner(pieces of chicken tandoori, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, and seekh kabab, $ 20.95), and Garlic Basil Naan($ 3.50 for a large piece cut in half). The dinner option comes with soup or salad entrée, rice, hot tea or coffee. Everything is made according to your choice of spice level: mild, medium, hot or very hot. The server brought us some sauces in little dishes(dark red, green, and the other was like a carrot vinaigrette) and crackers. It was not really for me but the beau loved it. I tried the lentil/veggie soup and it was okay. It was very light so in a way it lacked a bit in flavor. It was still good, though. The Calamari Rings are definitely different. They are breaded in an orange breading and have a crunch/bread-y taste. They were okay. The Chicken Tikka Masala was SOGOOD. I approve! I ordered it mild and was very happy that it wasn’t spicy! It was truly delicious especially when you mix in the Basmati Rice and Garlic Basil Naan with the creamy masala gravy. YUM!!! The Mixed Tandoorii Grill was perfectly seasoned. The Naan was really good. We were really full to say the least! I had to, however, get the Gulab Jamon(small round ball made with milk and wheat flour soaked in flavored syrup dessert, $ 3.95). I remember eating this dessert for the first time in downtown San Diego at an Indian buffet and it was so good! The difference between my past experience and this Gulab Jamon was that the one I had in San Diego was cold and this one was warm. I definitely loved the warmed up Gulab Jamon. So much flavor! I’m hungry now… Lucky for me I have leftovers in my fridge that I am about to eat. THE4INSTEADOF5STARRATING: I would have given Anarbagh 5 stars but I had to take it down one(1) star due to location. It was 5pm and Anarbagh had just opened. We were the first ones there. It was still daylight and they had the windows covered with a see-through mesh and some partly covered(the ones adjacent to 711). I cannot begin to explain how distracting it is to be in a restaurant with glass walls in a 711 parking lot when its daylight! There is so much traffic coming in and out of 711 that you are constantly looking outside because you can’t help it! It was laughable and definitely something we both pointed out. Also, the staff kept walking outside and strolling the 711 sidewalk and just plain staring out the glass walls! It was like they were waiting for something. It definitely took away from our dining experience. THETIPS: Check it out! I was very impressed with the flavor. It is pricey but you are paying for quality. Our bill came out to about $ 61 + tip. So about $ 70+. I would take an Über if you are local because as we all know parking sucks around here. I would also come in the evening when it’s dark out.

Cute little restaurant, perfect for a date night… minus the 7 – 11. The restaurant is dimly lit and has a nice romantic ambiance. Anarbagh offers a variety of meat and vegetable dishes. For dinner you could order a la carte or go with the dinner option which includes salad or soup, rice and tea or coffee. It’s a good deal and worth getting! The service was okay, not super inviting or friendly, but they job the done. Ordered: — Chicken tikka masala, a la carte. $ 12.95 I really enjoyed this dish. You can’t really go wrong with this one! My favorite thing to order at Indian restaurants. This is a chicken dish that is creamy, tomato-y and perfectly spiced. The flavor is bold! I love to put the sauce on top of the basmati rice or eat it with naan. Delish! — Chicken curry dinner. $ 14.95 Different from what we expected, but still good! Chicken cooked in a mild spicy sauce. I like the chicken tikka masala better. This dinner came with a side of soup, rice and tea! Only $ 3 more than a la carte price. totally worth it! The soup was a vegetable soup, pretty good. The rice was super good, fluffy basmati rice! Yummmm. The tea was spiced hot tea. Tastes like chai tea! Maybe it is chai? Hehe. — Garlic naan. $ 3.50 A tad bit dry and a little lacking in garlic flavor, but still good! I’m glad I opted for the garlic naan. The plain naan might be a little too plain for my tastes!

I’m definitely familiar with Anarbagh. They have a few other locations. I had happened to dine at their Encino location more than once. So happy to finally have one closer to me. Still family owned & food is just as amazing tasting as the Encino location. Over the years I have grown very fond of the divine synthesis of sophisticated flavors in Indian food. If done right like Anarbagh flavor profiles are delivered in contrasting forms for your taste buds. My ultimate favorites to get at Anarbagh are: Their Fish Tikka Masala medium to Mild, Paratha whole wheat bread, Plain Naan, Basmati rice. Their Fish Tikka Masala is so good. The fish is always juicy & the sauce unexplainably good with tons of complex spices you can taste in a rich creamy tomato sauce. I almost always have their Layered Paratha Bread to soak up that ridiculous sauce or their plain puffy, pillowy soft Naan bread. Their Basmati rice is always fluffy & aromatic. I like to get their Raita yogurt sauce when I order something spicy to cool down the flames. Their chutneys are always spot on with their crispy lentil papadum you start your meal with. My favorite is their chunky pickled carrots with the jalapeños mixed with a little of their tamarind chutney & the Mint. Best of both worlds having all 3 goodness in your mouth. Service has been excellent & very attentive here. Love the simple yet classic ambience they have. It’s very inviting & not too snooty or laid back. Don’t be turned off by it being next to the 7⁄11. Who cares right if the food is that amazing & service spot on. You are transformed to the streets of Bombay! I know there is another Indian spot down the street called Electric Lotus but it’s not as mind blowing as here in my opinion. Namaste!

Best Indian place that delivers to our home in Silver Lake. we’ve pretty much tried them all. We’ve made 3 – 4 orders from here in the short time Anarbagh has been open. As soon as we realized how much tastier their food was we stopped ordering from the other places in the neighborhood. We have tried & loved: chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, chicken korma, samosas, onion bhaje, and veggie pakora. We always get the main dishes medium or hot(which is not that hot, they have a spicier option). Paratha was kind of dry & just okay, we will stick to the naan instead in the future. I wish the rice was a larger size but we usually order 2 to make sure we have enough for 2 – 3 meals. All of our delivery orders have arrived on time, usually well under an hour from when they are placed. The one thing that has disappointed us was their vegetable curries. They use frozen veggies– carrots, broccoli, etc. and it just tastes bad. really bad. I’m not usually one to throw away leftovers but we did the time we got vegetable curry and another time with a broccoli dish. If you go all meat you’re fine though.
