This place is amazing. Friendly and clean. Nina was great with the technique she is using. She totally relaxes your body’s problem areas. Strongly recommended, it is one of the valley’s hidden spot!! I will definitely go back again and recommend this place to my friends.

I’ve been coming to Angel Massage for a while now. I don’t always remember to check in, but it’s definitely my favorite place for Thai massage in LA. Good prices, great massage. Ask for Michelle. She is UH… MAZING!!!

I used a $ 45 Groupon for a 60 minute Hot Stones and Aromatherapy massage. I’m almost fully recovered from a surgery. My Groupon had actually expired a couple of weeks ago, but I had called and talked to Michelle, the owner, about my situation. She was able to arrange it so I can make an appointment closer to full recovery even though the voucher would be expired by that date. That was a big plus for me. Thanks, Michelle!
The storefront is not very big, on the south side of Ventura Blvd., just west of Woodman. I actually parked behind the building where there was a couple of tandem spaces. After ringing the door bell, Nina came to greet me and assured me it was ok to park back there since I was a client. Since this was my first time there, I filled out a short questionnaire while Nina prepped the room. The inside of the shop is not overly decorated. There’s a hallway from front door to the back with a few rooms off the hall. The room I was in had 2 beds. I told Nina my trouble areas and she left me to undress.
The massage I was given was a Thai/​Swedish combo with hot stones. This was the first time I’ve tried a Thai massage and first time experiencing hot stones. If you’ve never had a hot stones massage, I would recommend it. Imagine the sensation of hot, wet towels but travelling along your body but focused on a small area. Nina is a skilled masseuse with her Swedish strokes and strong fingers for pressure work. I was glad to find that she spent more time on my trouble areas, which means that she listens to her clients. The Thai portion of the massage entails manipulated stretches and pressure massage using Nina’s weight and body. Nina had done so many techniques on so many parts of my body that twice, I thought, «Oh it must be the end now». But nope. By the end of the session, I took a look at my phone to check the time … one hour exactly, but the session felt like at least an hour and a half. My body felt relieved and left not wanting. Her scalp massage is the best I’ve ever had. After getting dressed, I met her at the front desk where she offered me a small cup of water. Thank you, Nina, for a great massage!
The only bad thing I could say about the experience was that the music was cutting in and out for a couple of minutes. No biggie, just a little distracting.
I can say Nina’s massage was one of the best massages I’ve had in recent memory. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will be back soon!

I have had many massages in Los Angeles and in cities throughout the world including Thailand. There is no one like Nina, the most talented and hard working masseuse I have ever known. To underscore my commitment to Nina, I live in the city of Los Angeles where there are many places to get a massage. However, after being massaged by Nina, I will never go to anyone else and do not hesitate to make the 25 minute drive to the valley where Nina is located. If you need or want the best massage available, I urge you to go to Nina, the greatest masseuse ever!

This place is my favorite massage place.
I have been here 4 times so far and every time i feel wonderfull after the massage.
Nina is doing wonders with her Thai massage. She streches your muscle in all kind of ways and postures and after the massage you feel great and your muscles feel soft and flexible.
Its a small place with nice very clean rooms and relaxig music. I can recomend it to anybody.
The price for a 60 minute massage is 40 $ which i think is cheap.
They offer different kind of massages but sofar i received the swedish thai combo which is realy great.

I got the works from NIna last week after work, she did a great job and I felt very good afterwards. I got a few massages in my day and I must say I’m very pleased with her.
Truly professional and personable and the rest of the staff is very friendly.
I will return.

I go to a lot of massage places so I feel like I have a pretty good gauge on what makes them good but this one might be my favorite in all of Sherman oaks. The prices are totally reasonable and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is super new feeling and clean. But most importantly they listen!!! If you tell them to work on a spot in particular they actually will! That’s not always the case with some joints. I highly recommend Pat. She’s incredibly talented and has an amazing skill to hone in with the exact amount of pressure and time needed. She’s my new favorite. Places like this are hard to find. Absolute hidden treasure. I can’t tell you how great I feel, check it out!

Unilocalers, you let me down… Again!
Maybe I just have incredibly high standards. I dunno. But nothing seems to compare to Heaven massage, down the street. These ladies were lovely and sweet and the place itself was cozy and relaxing. The massage itself though… I know Swedish massage is mostly rubbing, but she pretty much just used an entire bottle of lotion on me and rubbed it on for an hour.
Not my thing. Maybe I’d go back and specify I want deep Thai, cause they really were so nice and cozy. But I left the massage, and went straight to Heaven :(

The BF and I came here for Friday night massages. It sounded like a good idea after a long work week and it was. We got a Couple’s Thai/​Swedish combo… Him from Nina, Me from Pat.
I will say that I think Pat might be still learning — her work felt a little tentative compared to massages I’ve had in the past, but the Thai portion of the massage was amazing. I’m fairly flexible and she was able to really get into the strange little places that hang up and work them out. The Swedish portion was a little lackluster. She didn’t really get INTO the sore places and didn’t go especially hard, even though I requested firm pressure.
My Bf had great things to say about Nina, who ended up walking on his back during the massage to work out a deep nasty knot. I don’t feel qualified to write that much about HIS experience though.
That said, the couples massage room is TIGHT. It barely fits the two beds, and it’s amazing that the massage therapists can work their way between them. They do bump into you as they transition from place to place, but it wasn’t a huge deal and it wasn’t jarring.
I’ll go back. I’ll probably try massages from a different therapist, but I loved the overall experience.

The friendliest, most accomadating, welcoming staff you could imagine. They seem to truly love what they do. Very flexible with scheduling.
My best friend and I got a couple’s massage just for fun following a ½ marathon. It was life-​changing. These women work wonders. We weren’t even sore from the race the next day because of all the tension they had released.
They ask you at the beginning how much pressure you prefer in your massages which eliminated a lot of the awkward instruction later if the person isn’t giving you what you want. They also welcome feedback during the massage. At one point I said «that’s the spot!» when she hit something in need of work and she laughed and worked on that spot extra hard.
How can I explain the kindness these women radiate? They are the real deal. Life-​lovers, genuinely happy to help you, and take pride in practicing their art well.
Got a coupon for a discount next time I go and I am already scheduling my next session!

Wow! I just left Angel’s and feel amazing! Nina gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. It was a Thai/​Swedish and it was awesome. It’s the perfect combination. I have a pretty bad back sprain going on and Nina spent a lot of time focusing on it. I feel so much better.
The ladies there are very sweet, the facility is clean and nicely set up, and the prices are great. so great that you can give more gratuity and should.
Really. I get massages often since I teach Pilates. and after this one, I feel like I’ve been wasting my time and money in the other places I’ve been going. I’ll be recommending this to my clients and took a stack full of pamphlets to hand especially since my studio is in walking distance.
Treat yourself and go… I had an hour massage but will go for the longer one next time. I didn’t want it to end.

This is exactly what I needed!
I bought a Living Social Deal for a hot stone massage and what was so awesome is I was able to get a same day appointment. There is parking in the back so no need to park on Ventura.
My massage was everything! Very relaxing, very peaceful and they were sure to hit my problem spots while avoiding what I wanted avoided. The only noise I heard was people talking towards the end of my massage but it didn’t bother me.
I will definitely be back!

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed a great massage in the couples room by Nok and Michelle. The environment was friendly, the aroma was refreshing and the service was speedy.

It had been a long week and tense week that I just needed some tension rubbed out. I called to make an appointment, but they were booked. :(About thirty minuets later, I received a call that someone cancelled and I could take their place! Outstanding!
Upon entering I felt a very peaceful and calming vibe in the busy area of Sherman Oaks. Perfect I thought. I was greeted by friendly faces and to my room.
The massage itself was great and my masseuse took time to ask if the pressure was to hard or to soft. Writing this review… I’m wishing they were open now. Will be back for sure!

Very disappointed, got the groupon deal for a couples massage for a 75 min hot stone massage and it was probably the worst massage we ever got.
First of all they had us wait 20 min before calling us in which was bad enough but the massages were just just horrible. It was just strokes with the hot stone and I felt like she kept walking out every few min. Was hoping to be so relaxed that I would just fall asleep but was actually uncomfortable the whole time. People there were nice but this was a waste of money, especially since this was my husbands Valentine gift from me:(
