I dined her last week with my mom. We had tickets to the theatre. I found them because I love the Aroma Café located in Studio City. The menu has so much to choose from, and the food is very good. Large portions, we had to take home some. My pesto chicken was so easy, and my mom’s panini was very good too. The service was great. I will go there again next month when I go to the theatre.

This place is the spot on Sunset. Sushi and Mediterranean, patio… great breakfast. Happy hour, coffee… lunch. I mean it has it all! Everything here is legit. I come all the time! Parking. The sushi chef is from South Africa but ask him what is fresh of the day and you won’t go wrong.

Up until today, I was a regular. Ordered many things on their menu. Food is good. But just like every restaurant, just when you think a new dish is going to be good, it’s just not to your taste. We call over the waitress to tell her we don’t like 2 dishes. If an any case a dish is not good, the normal way for a waitress to handle it is, «Oh no! I’m very sorry you didn’t like it. Let us get you something else that you would like.» I mean, we’re paying customers, we’re not going to eat something we don’t like. Right? Right. The waitress comes over, we tell her that we don’t like the dish. The attitude she gave us caught us off gaurd. «Let me call my manager.» Manager comes over and we ask him why the waitress gives us attitude? Is the money getting deducted off her pay? We didn’t understand what her problem was… Then the manager has the nerve to say, «it depends how many dishes you want to return…» EXCUSEME? If we receive something that’s not good, we will return it. It’s not our fault your cooks made something that didn’t taste good. The Cheesecake Factory would NEVER act this way in a million years. They understand the meaning of «customer retention». Because of that disrespectful customer service, we just put down our forks, paid the bill, and left. Adiós guys.

This place is just sub par. –Overpriced food –Lackluster taste –Rude wait staff Even though I LOVE Israeli food(I travel there yearly) and this place is right around the corner, I simply won’t go. I gave it 5 – 6 second chances and it always disappoints me.

I was there for a double date tonight. We ordered aroma salad and signature sandwich. The food portions are huge and worth the price. Delicious food. Never had any problems with the food or the service. Our server was Joda, he checked on us frequently and he was great. Will definitely go back and recommend it to friends. My advice to you leave some places for desert

Where do I start !!! Very bad experience!!! I was driving there from Beverly Hills and had only one hour to get something to eat! I liked going to Aroma! But not this time. It was enough I spent ONE hour just for waiting my fish!!! I made an order Clock is one 30 min later waitress came by and he starts saying 5 more min, after 5 min, 5 more and etc. ONEHOURLATER, my food still one way… Maybe their Chief went to do fishing before cooking it. Recommend do NOT order Salmon En Croute, because you going to waste your time by waiting for an hour or maybe more before they get it from the ocean or whatever! Very disappointed, haven’t gotten my food. No apologizes, nothing … Will never come back there And WILLNOT recommend to anyone one more thing, I’ve seen people were coming after me and they were getting their food while I was waiting… Very disappointed Maybe I should order 24 hrs in advance to get my food resist

This place has a huge patio which reminded me a lot of my home town of Scottsdale AZ. The service and food was great. Sophie(Sophia?) was our server and did a great job. There is a $ 3 valet fee which is more than fair on that part of Sunset. The valet guy was very friendly as well. The only weird part was the lack of hostess stand when you walk in from the valet. No one including us seemed to know what to do or where to go when entering. We walked inside aimlessly and a server seated us outside. Will be back in during the nighttime to check it out. It looked like a pretty fun vibe from driving by it the night before.

As always I finish with the soufflé sampler my favorite!!! Ohh and one more thing– they have wings near the valet parking… I took a picture of my dog with them

A more appropriate name would be «Odor.» At least that would distinguish it from the five dozen other places named«Aroma» in SoCal. What does distinguish this Aroma from its galaxy of namesakes is the level of awfulness its dining experience consistently delivers. Its waitstaff is a revolving door of reptilian local Russians mixed with walking lampoons of the aspiring actor, all of whom interact with guests with an unctuous disdain that makes this place self-consciously Hollywood. Its gravest sin, however, is how thoroughly mediocre the food is. From bland breakfast sandwiches to hard-boiled eggs that have never once been, in the handful of times I’ve ordered the hummus plate, free of that unsightly blue casing that sometimes develops on the yolk. Any restaurant worth its salt would know how to avoid this undesirable byproduct of culinary carelessness. Furthermore, each dish is priced at least 160% above its true value, and far above what similar dishes cost at other establishments. And that’s not factoring in the lack of quality and flavor(which adds insult to injury). Clearly, this place — given its size, location, and Eurotrash clientele — thinks it’s hot shit and can get away with deluded menu pricing and substandard product. Most laughable about Aroma is its lack of identity. It’s Russian-owned, yet the menu is vaguely Middle Eastern, and its expansive pastry case has been gutted and replaced with a sushi bar. Its sign still says«Aroma Bakery & Café»(its previous identity), despite its Unilocal name being«Aroma Bar and Grill.» Since Aroma can’t decide what it wants to be, allow me to proffer a suggestion as to what it should be: out of business. Given the high turnover on the L.A. restaurant scene, the endurance of a toxic pit like Aroma mystifies me, though the fact that they’re open late, have a full bar, and depend largely upon hordes of inebriated, nouveau riche sorts whose innately distorted palates are further dulled by booze provides some explanation.

The place is really nice! The sitting outside area is very comfy and big, nice shades under the umbrellas. I’ve tried the double cheeseburger and it was one of the good ones I have tried so far in LA, it was juicy and cheesy :) The portions are really big so prepare your stomach. They’ve had some really nice looking desserts but I didnt have space to try, next time :) Really recommend the place!

My friends and I stopped by here for a drink/dessert on Christmas night and it wasn’t a good or bad experience. Kind of subpar. Our server was Elena and she wasn’t terrible but she doesn’t know how to provide service well… or how to smile. My friend got the wrong drink and then it took 15 minutes to get a new one. My soufflé was 85% liquid. I could taste the uncooked batter after I got past the very thin layer that was actually cooked. I asked the waitress about it and she said that’s how they make it unless you say well done. Okay. So $ 17 for uncooked dessert. Got it. Didn’t feel like fighting that load of bs on Christmas so I ignored it. Drinks…normal alcoholic type drinks. Nothing too special. The dip appetizer was good. Not worth the price but good. Would I come back? Yeah, that’s a definite no.

The service was excellent ! Our waitress was Shirley and we love her. If you go to Aroma just ask for her she will take care of you. Compare to last time I was there and didnt get good service. they did some changes around, like changing waiters and quality of food, much better now. They are good for salads, coffee, Cocktails, appetizers. Almost everyone get the Avocado rolls, hummus plate, and pizza. the pizza is usually good. Overall good food !! Te price is a little expensive. the place is very big and good for kids. They are open late !

This place was really good ! So close to my place. The food was good quality but a little overpriced and the coffee was not too great. I did enjoy their olive bread and pita bread that came with the eggs in tomato mix. Love their spicy sauce that they make fresh themselves. Their buffalo mozzarella pizza was so good. Also their omelette was really good make sure you get it with feta.

Love aroma café. I always order something different as their menu selection is quite vast. This time I preferred their egg omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes and opted for feta vs. motzerrrela. Comes with two sides; salad and potatoes. Potatoes were done extra well and was quite delicious. One thing I suggest is ordering their hot sauce they make at home. And for dessert gotta try their Khalva!

Let’s talk about the do’s and the don’ts to expect when eating at this restaurant. There are much more dont’s. Don’t expect to receive good service especially if your server is Elena. Never smiled, didn’t get our order correct, and didn’t check on us before or after our food was ordered. Asked for a breakfast menu and we were told with no sympathy«we don’t have that anymore.» So don’t arrive at 11:31 a.m. on Saturday expecting breakfast unless you are okay with the«all day» diner style food that has rubbery eggs and moldy fruit. Dont expect to talk to a professional Manager either or at least that’s what we think he was. He was wearing tired jeans, black tshirt, and neon nikes. He walked by and said«alright?» And walked past our table. Do expect disappointment because this place looks like it has potential but we sure didnt see it. Never coming back here again!

The bf wanted a healthy dinner and thought of Aroma Café. The place seemed pretty happening even we arrived but perhaps the people who dine here don’t know any better. Their large extensive menu has great options but for the most part, their food is way overpriced. We shared the eggplant rolls which were surprisingly good. My sunny side up hamburger, however, was just okay. The portion is large so maybe that makes up for the price, but since the food was not that great I ended up with a lot of leftovers.

Aroma is a crowd pleaser. It’s a big open restaurant with a huge patio and always busy, but it’s still easy to grab a table. They have a great breakfast menu filled with tons of light, healthy omelettes, wraps and sandwiches each paired with salad or fruit along with some more decadent pancake/waffle dishes. Check out their dessert case too, those cakes look so bomb. Try their Jerusalem bagel! I had never even heard of it before, but these bagels are so yummy! They’re huge and super fluffy and Aroma offers so many variations, the menu is SOLONG! I think the waitress said there were over 100 options for your sandwich. My friends got the omelette bagel and chicken shawarma bagel sandwiches. The portions were enormous and looked like they came with two sandwiches each, plus french fries, plus a salad. You’ll definitely leave either with leftovers or a major food baby. The owner stopped by our table to check on everything and mentioned that in a couple weeks they will be nixing their dessert case and serving sushi instead… which we all agreed sounds like a baaaaad choice. Don’t do it Aroma! Listen to Gordon Ramsey! On his show he always says not to fuck it up by trying to offer everything, you keep your menu small and just stick to what you do best… this place already offers more than enough.

This place has come a long way since what I used to remember a few years ago. Both the quality of the service and food has improved. The chicken wings that I ordered tasted great and the ranch was. well. ranchy :) The prices are a bit high, but somewhat normal for West Hollywood. Both the outdoor and indoor seating is great! I’m looking forward to going back there. The service can be improved, and when you ask for things, the servers should respond a lot faster.
