Gathered the family around a grill and did it up with the AYCE feast. Such a great Gogi joint in such an surprise location in the heart of the Valley. It’s all good — kalbi, bulgogi, chadol beef brisket, pork belly, apple pork, kimchi sausage, spicy kalbi, garlic beef, lemon pepper chicken, fried rice kimchi… You get the idea! The topper… Order the deep fried Oreos(oh my goodness!!).

Amazing, amazing, AMAZING! I never thought I’d find a yummy k BBQ place in the valley but I sure did! This place has a wide variety of yummy meats to choose from and to top it off, it’s all you can eat! We had a family fun night out and decided to come here. One of my cousins was raving about it and let me tell you, he didn’t disappoint us! The food is great, the service is great and the price is just right. The only down side is that their ventilation is not very good so get ready to leave smelling like a whole lot of BBQ but it’s still worth it. I’m definitely going to be back

This is a great kbbq spot in the valley! You can have a have a great dinner for 23 per person and you will not only be satisfied with the food, but the service as well. The brisket, tongue and spicy pork are great choices, as well as the pepper steak. The garlic beef and the bulgogi will not leave you disappointed. There are a variety of drink choices you can select from to wash down this awesome meal. Service was great as Brandon did a great job making sure our needs were met, from making sure our waters were filled to changing out the grill. He made sure he was around and had a great customer first attitude. Parking is in the lot and it is a non issue.

Happy Dance… Finally a yummy AYCE K bbq near my house. Don’t mind if I do… weekly. Thank heavens for the nights we are too lazy to drive to Korea Town for some authentic K BBQ. We stumbled across this place on an evening where we were feeling exactly that. I couldn’t believe what I found on Unilocal. On Van Nuys? what??? Lesss goooooo. Everything is phenomenal here. The meat is so fresh and tender, service is beyond anything imaginable and pretty much everything on the menu minus the alcohol is included in AYCE. Someone pinch me please!!! Bulgogi yummalicous garlic beef short ribs brisket THEBESTKIMCHIFRIEDRICEOFMYLIFE spicy beef soup kimchi soup and more… The service is awesome and in the end they give you a bite size of tart froze yogurt for free. YUM!!! A very picky friend of mine told me about this place. Knowing how picky he is, I had to give this place a try. We came here on a Saturday night around 6pm and we got seated right away. We got the all you can eat dinner($ 23PP) and ordered the following that is inclusive of our AYCE dinner: Shumai — did not like. It was dense and salty. Fried Dumplings — Did not like. It was dense and salty. Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura — Did not like, I rather go to my favorite sushi restaurant for awesome tempura. Bulgogi — Excellent, it was so good that we ordered two dishes. Black Pepper Beef — Excellent, lots of flavor and very tender Spicy Kalbi — It was delicious and spicy. Garlic Rosemary Chicken — I didn’t think I would have liked this but it was very good, they use white meat and it was very tender and juicy. Fried Rice Beef — so good! I could have just eaten this for dinner. Soon Tofu — Very good, silky and tender. Very comforting. Steamed Egg — Very good, Lots of flavor. I never imagined that I would like eating steamed eggs. Hot Stone Bibimbap — If you love Bibimbap, you can’t go wrong with this. Korean Miso Soup — it was OK, I rather have their other delicious soups Beef Brisket — It was sliced very thin where it cooked right away. I won’t get this again. If all the above sound like it was a lot of food for one sitting, well it was and there were some good dishes. I’m looking forward to going here again.

AMAZINGKBBQ! From the moment you walk in, you smell delicious grilled food! Our waiter served us quickly and was there to accommodate us every time we needed something. The atmosphere was clean and tables were big enough for large parties as well. When you walk in, there are large tables with a hooded vent and a grill in front of you. You can opt to do all you can eat or order by the plate. Ordering off the plate was 14.99 and all you can eat is 22.99– if you eat a lot, that’s your best bet to save! Soups, appetizers and everything on the menu was also part of the all you can eat too(if you ordered all you can eat). Food was off the walls!!! I’ve had KBBQ before but this place is now my new favorite! The meats were nice, tender and juicy and the food was all fresh! We did use a lot of rice paper to wrap our meats and thin radish paper as well– AMAZING! When we raised our hand if our waiter didn’t make it to us, someone did and was quick to help us. No one gave the excuse of «let me tell your waiter or I’m by your waiter but how can I help you» which is really nice! Our tofu soup and ramen soup was delicious as well! All in all, I am definitely coming back when I’m in town! A bit pricy but the quality and service was great! I didn’t take any pictures but the food was that good!!!

I’ve been monitoring AYCE(All You Can Eat) Gogi on Unilocal for a while now noticing the outstanding reviews. It’s a newish Korean barbecue spot that took over an old Korean restaurant I would visit. Dining Korean in the Valley, I usually set my expectations low as there’s not that much competition here to be the best as you’ll find in Koreatown. First thing I noticed is the lack of Korean clientele and servers. There was only one Korean guy working there on the floor, most likely the manager or owner. I also noticed the better than usual selection of beer selection in the fridge on my way to the restroom. I ordered the Smalltown Brewery soda-like beer, «Not Your Father’s Root Beer» to go with our AYCE New Years Day extravaganza. I joked with the group that most people hit the gym or go hiking and we were here eating like pigs. The meats we ordered were good. I was more a fan of their pork AYCE, rather than the bulgogi and kalbi. I found the bulgogi and kalbi to be chewier than my favorite AYCE at Oo-Kook. I loved the pork belly, apple pork, and kimchi sausage much better. The star of the show is the premium sides offered as AYCE. I fell in love with the kimchi fried rice here, fresh jap chae, bibimbap, and soups that were all in included! I asked for purple rice and server look at me and said«what’s that?» Service wasn’t super attentive towards the end. It took a while to get a meat refill and I didn’t have a beverage in front of me after I finished my beer. I had to ask for water. It would be nice if there was bell at our table or a pitcher of water. Would we come back, yes, we all said enthusiastically for the those premium sides! The meat is OK and is fine if we don’t feel like making the trek to Oo-Kook in Koreatown for AYCE. At the end, we finished up with some clay pot soups and tart frozen yogurt — all included! Yes, they’re not catering to Koreans, but the flavors are there and I’m fine with that. For $ 22.95AYCE including AYCE premium sides, and not dealing with Koreatown sceney craziness of Chapman Plaza and difficulty finding parking, I’d come back again and again!

So nice to see a Korean BBQ in the valley! It gets 5 stars just for being in the Valley in my book! This place is super clean. Nice and spacious. Excellent choices of meat. We tried the Kimchi rice and it was bomb. The rosemary chicken was delish! I mean everything we tried was really good. Very reasonably priced. It’s in a nice small strip mall with lots of parking. And they give you a nice variety of condiments.

Hello, 3 things i wat you to consider as you read this review. 1st-i love korean food! 2nd– i have worked for a korean company for about 10 years now and all of our monthly meetings end in K-town enjoying K-BBQ 3rd– i love 2 eat! Now my review, i really do not agree with the ratings on Unilocal please double think location if you know K-BBQ and are looking for good meat quality over heavily seasoned meats. All my korean friends always warne me about places that heavily season meat. makes you wonder what are they covering up? In this case it was cheap cuts of meat. Briskey-tasted like if it was frozen for a few days. Pork belly– was thin not thick. made it look and tast just like bacon.(I love bacon but was looking for the crispy fatty thick porkbelly). FYITHINBELLYBURNSFAST! Spicy pork– this spicy pork looked like it had been chopped up supper fine and it came in a plate swimming in seasoning. Pork Ribs– ALL bone a nibble of meat on 3 out of 5pc that came on the plate. Calbi– This cut was the only one i enjoyed, a bit sweet but still was tender and juicy. but come on its calbi. it should be tender and juicy! Lastly customer service was GREAT! Not the normal service or lack of service. Honestly think this place is one of the better places in the valley but next time i need BBQ for sure taking the drive into K-Town the $ 55 for 2 dinners was not worth it.

This place has its pros and cons. Pros: I don’t have to drive to k-town, they have good customer service, and they give you that frozen yogurt after dinner. Cons: their marinades are too sweet, they use too much marinade, their kimchi isn’t good. I gave 3 stars because I feel like most people would be ok with this place. I personally want to give 2 but I might be a little picky due to the face that I’ve been shown what good, authentic Korean bbq is. This place is definitely americanized. I usually drive to k-town to get my fix but the bf saw that this was a new place and we wanted to give it a try. If you’re Korean or used to the same type of bbq in k-town, don’t come here. Otherwise, its decent, not horrible. Edited because I forgot to add that its also a little pricy. Good AYCE on average is $ 3 – 6 cheaper.

Was in the mood for Korean BBQ& decided to try a new place. Everything was amazing! The potato salad is off the chain! They were bringing that to our table 2 bowls at a time; no lie! The meat — bulgogi & rosemary chicken was great. Got 2 a la carte items and it fed all of us very well(4 adults, 1 child). Their all you can eat lunch special is a good deal, but I almost don’t mind paying a little more for a la carte just to save myself a crazy wait time. We got there @ 3pm right after the lunch rush & we had no wait time, not too crowded & the service was great. Will definitely be back!

As far as good KBBQ joints in this part of the valley, it’s very limited. Curious to find out what AYCE Gogi had to offer so we paid them a recent visit for lunch. It’s located on huge strip mall so ample parking is available. The layout is spacious and typical of most modern KBBQ joints. The center sections is standard tables with grills in the middle and surrounding sides comprised of booths. Black furnishings, stainless steel appliance and warm tan walls provide the color scheme for interior. Flat screen TV’s were on hand as well to keep you tuned to the latest sporting event. When we walked in, a huge stench of smoke filled the air. Lack of proper ventilation was definitely present. Not unusual, but for a new establishment I expect very little and the aroma wasn’t BBQ either. Compared to most KBBQAYCE lunches, price was slightly higher($ 18). Limited array of banchan dishes were served which included daikan radish, cucumbers, kimchi, salad and mashed potatoes. All were tasty, but hardly exciting and acting mostly fillers while we wait for the next cast. Their house specialties which is included with AYCE were our favorites. The house stone bibimbap, spicy beef soup and fried rice were terrific. The soup and rice dishes were very flavorful and on point. We were tempted with a second helpings, but were more focused on the meat which was the main reason one comes to KBBQ. The meat selections consisted of different types of beef, pork and chicken. Quality and cuts were average. Some were tender and others chewy. Only memorable items worthy of mentioning were the bulgogi, kalbi, spicy kalbi and pork belly. Unfortunately, there were no seafood items. Service was prompt and helpful. Our grills were changed out often and staff came by regularly to refill our orders. All in All — it was pleasant and decent experience, but nothing to write home about. Not even close or as good as Gen BBQ or some of the KBBQ places in DTLA. At lease they have a decent beer menu, including draft beers from Blue Moon and Angel City IPA.

I wanted to check this place out because they had an «express lunch» that was cheap and I didn’t have the time to drive all the way you Ktown. Nowhere on the menu says that the express lunch is only Monday through Thursday. They would not let us have it on a Friday even though they were not busy(literally only 5 other small groups of people). We had to pay the full lunch price. At that very moment in my mind I thought to myself I wished I drove to Ktown. First off the AYCE menu has more rice bowls and soups than they do different cuts of meat. That’s fine and all if you want to fill up on appetizers, but when it comes to kbbq I just want meat and more meat. The Bulgogi and the Kalbi are good and that’s about it. I got the steak and as it cooked the meat changed to an odd purple color. My friend didn’t want any and I had to eat it all. The spicy pork was too spicy and my friend couldn’t eat it so I had to eat it all. The worst thing I ate was the mesquite pork. That type of seasoning does not work in kbbq. It had a strong tangy taste that doesn’t compliment any of the dipping sauces. My friend didn’t like it and I had to eat all. We also had some bibimbap that tasted like something that came from Gyukaku. We didn’t like it and I am glad I didn’t have to finish it. You know you are in a bad spot when you have to eat a meal meant for 2. I don’t see myself coming back here. I’d rather go to any other kbbq in Ktown.

With just one visit I’m totally sold on this place. I’ve been hooked on AYCE Korean BBQ for the last four years, & out here in the San Fernando valley some of the places start off pretty good then after a few more visits you notice a decline in the food & or service, from what I’ve seen here with the service & the set up of the restaurant I don’t think that will be the case here. When I’m in the mood for Korean BBQ I go up to my favorite spot in Valencia that I’ve been to about 50 times in the last 4 years. That’s all changed now that I found this place which is just as good & a lot closer. The food is fresh, taste great, & the prices are great. There’s a $ 5.00 price difference from lunch to dinner but here both menus have the same options, a majority of the spots I’ve been to give less options with a lunch menu that’s a lower price. I look forward to coming here again.

Kind of conflicted. I love the choices of side dishes you can order in addition to the meats for the AYCE lunch/dinner, such as the hot stone bibimbap, dumpling soup, and kalbi soup. They certainly add more dimension to the typical KBBQ meal. The meats, though, are a mixed bag. Beef brisket and beef bulgogi are good. The kalbi is a bit too much on the sweet side, and the slices are in small thin squares. It’s OK, but I miss being able to bite into a nice thick piece of marinated short rib. Similarly with the pork belly… sliced half as thick as most other places, and also does not taste as good as when you’re able to bite into a thicker slab of pork belly with the nicely charred fat. Last item we tried was steak. A ½″ thick piece of chuck(?) steak that was extremely lean. Grilling it just made it so chewy, it was difficult to swallow. Small servings of frozen yogurt were served as dessert to close out the meal. My dining companions love it and were able to get a few more servings before we left. Service here can be touch and go, depending on how busy it can be. If your server is busy, do not hesitate to flag other servers and runners for assistance. Our server welcomed us, brought us water and told us that the banchan will be out. After 15 minutes, we had to ask twice before the dishes finally came. Similarly with the meats we ordered. 5 selections are allowed. We got 3 of the 5 and had to ask twice thereafter before we were served the final 2 selections. Service, though, did improve as the evening progressed, but that’s probably because the dining room was slowly emptying out as we started dinner at 8pm. About 3.5 starts, but can’t round it up this time. Oh, the light in the parking lot directly in front of the restaurant is out, leaving the area dark and a bit uninviting. Hope they asked the property management team to replace it.

So many choices, and at a very reasonable price. Not only do you get to choose from the usual array of meats, but they have much more to choose from in soups and sides. And yes, it says in their name AYCE! I came with the family on a Thursday night and it wasn’t that busy, which befuddled me. I know in the area there are a lot of Korean restaurants to choose, but really why wouldn’t you come here? The meats are marinated and tasty, service was very good coming around very often to ask if we wanted more food or to change the grill grate. Like any Korean restaurant that has you cook the food yourself, it can get quite smelly in there, but that’s like calling the kettle black. I definitely got my money’s worth, and wish I could have ate more because everything was very good. My favorite meat choice was the pork spareribs, and the kim chi sausage was spicy and makes you think twice because of the smell. They also have miso ramen, and more soups than I can remember. If you are looking for another Korean BBQ place that’s all you can eat, just follow their name!

Just found my favorite AYCE Korean BBQ spot in the good ol’ valley! After years of being disappointed by the lack of legit KBBQ restaurants in the valley, I am finally a happy camper :) The food is legit and authentic. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything is AYCE unless you go with the a la carte options. I went for dinner last night with the AYCE option being $ 22.95 and to my pleasant surprise, everything(not only the meat) was all you can eat. This includes a wide array of AYCE options such as: meat, bibimbap, ramen, shumai, fried rice, steamed egg, kimchi soup, kalbi soup, bean paste soup, dumpling and rice cake soup, jap chae(noodles), soon dooboo, tempura, and Korean pancake. I really wish I had a big enough stomach to order 1 of each item! My favorite items were: Garlic beef Chadol beef(brisket) Kalbi Kimchi soup Steamed egg I would skip: Steak(either too chewy or we cooked it too long) Spicy Kalbi Salad lacked flavor I wish I took pictures! I enjoyed the food so much that I didn’t care to take any. One downside was that some of the food took long to be prepared but our waiters were honest with us about items taking longer than usual. Everyone was really helpful and checked on us regularly. Most importantly, the meats all had a great, high quality taste sooooo I cannot wait to go back!
