I finally found these guys and it was worth looking for them. The wings and waffles were great. Can’t wait to see them again

We hired BrewWings to cater our wedding in Ojai, and it was such a hit with our guests! They worked with us to figure out the right menu(chicken and waffles, collard greens, corn salad, and fresh mini donuts for dessert!) and were so accommodating for everything we needed. It was all the guests could talk about. I highly recommend them and can’t wait to go eat them again already.

Okay okay okay, I don’t always take my time to review places on here. but it’s deff a must for this truck. I got the bacon stuffed jalapeño grilled cheese sandwich… and it was da bomb! The bread was nice and toasty, crispy and buttered just right! The cheese was perfectly melted with the right combination of bacon and jalapeño bits. I had it with BBQ sauce and it complimented this meal to the tee! The service was fast and everyone’s friendly, like they actually enjoy their job. They smiled at me and said«have a nice day» but like they actually meant it… So I said it back and I meant it too. It was great!

One word… LOVE! Literally I’m in love with the crispy, buttery, yet fluffy waffle! My world was rocked, and I typically only go for Roscoe’s waffles. Less about the waffle that I could make a video or talk about on snapchat all day. More about the amazingly crispy and tender chicken they offer! AHHH-MAHH-ZING! If you order the buffalo tenders or regular tenders you’ll get all the crispiness you look for in a wing paired with juicy and tender meat! You will definitely bask in chicken eating glory while never breaking a sweat!(wait you might, the buffalo sauce is on point!) With that said, for you GARLICLOVERS, check out the buffalo sauce it has actual bits of garlic(so delicious… also life changing)! Since I require a «Food Wife» for all food truck experiences, I was able to also try the Kickin Chicken Grilled Cheese! I’m so happy I did! I love spicy foods and cheese so the fact that the sandwich didn’t taste like a typical at home«sando,» I was pleased. A few of my colleagues and I dipped the sandwich in the buffalo sauce too… MINDBLOWN! If all these colorful words didn’t do it for you… welp you don’t want eat good food! Let the next MAJORKEY in your life be this truck! I’m out and I will forever love #BrewWings because it CHANGEDMYWAFFLE&CHICKENEATINGLIFE!

It’s nigh impossible to go wrong when you serve tots covered in bacon and cheese. The menu at BrewWings is everything someone with the drunchies would crave, and I was excited to encounter the truck at Angel City Brewery. From chicken wings, to chicken and waffles, loaded fries and tots, there is nothing remotely healthy on the menu, which is what attracted Rogelio G and I in the first place. We ordered loaded fries and tots, and shared some wings and chicken and waffles with friends. The food was great but it took 20 minutes for a single order of fries to come out, and one of our orders was messed up, so it took another 20 minutes to fix, and they weren’t very nice about it either. It was just too much for my inebriated and hangry self to endure, and by the time the rectified order came out, half our food was cold. After notifying BrewWings about the mishap, I did receive a sincere apology – they definitely value customer service! The loaded tots were sinfully delicious. The chicken wings were tasty and traditional. The chicken strip with the waffle could have used more seasoning, but had good texture. I’d give this truck another try, if only to indulge once more in the loaded tots. ***Update: I stand corrected, they do have healthy options including grilled chicken!

Came here before a Ducks game a while back and was in a food coma for a while after. The wings and tater tots were delectable but too much to handle. I would that with as much as I can eat, I couldn’t finish this round! Great food and great beer though!

These are the ideal buffalo wings. The sauce was perfectly tangy/spicy. I feel like they were priced right for the amount I got. Overall, a lunchtime success.

We went to Angels Brewery today and since they don’t serve food we tried the BrewWings truck! Their food smelled and tasted delicious and they are extremely friendly. The service was pretty fast. My friends all enjoyed their food, and I absolutely loved the tater tots and went back for more a few times. Their wings are huge and delicious too so I recommend you try them if they are around your neighborhood.

My review for BrewWings has been long overdue. It was only a few months ago when I had my first encounter with the bright orange food truck that was parked near my work. The name made me think there was going to be brewskies(beer) and wings, but I re-thought, well that couldn’t be right to serve alcohol from a food truck at work? Haha… but they do have root beer and cold brewed coffee! I am usually not one to turn down the chance to try hot wings so of course I had to place an order! The guys are really nice and easy to talk to. I’ve probably spoke to three different people, not including the owner, Stefano. During my most recent visit, Tom remembered who I was — «Weren’t you the girl who said you would write a Unilocal!review for a free wing, but never did?» Ouch! That was embarrassing, but I truly was going to write a review after confirming the owner’s name b/c I wanted to say that it was a cool experience to actually meet the man behind the dream that has now become a reality. Hearing his story was inspiring and made me think(as I often do), what am I doing with my life? I digress… I love the way the wings smell once your order is ready to be picked up. They’re always hot and they have always tasted so delicious! Some parts are even crispy which I love and there hasn’t been a time where I couldn’t finish a wing b/c they are that yummy. The tater tots are also nicely made — light, golden, and crisp — doesn’t feel soggy or cooked with tons of oil. ** If you decide to order wings, there has been the option to get the wings tossed or to have the sauce on the side. I recommend getting them tossed b/c they cover the wings more thoroughly than you would be able to w/just one side of sauce. What I Order & Love: — Half order of 6 wings(comes w/celery & carrots & your choice of ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce) — Side of tater tots *Check-In on Unilocal!and they have a deal for 1 free wing(if you get a pop-up saying you’re too far away to check-in, show them your phone — they will still honor the free wing). What my Co-Worker has Ordered & Loved: — Half order of 4 chicken tenders **I remember these guys! They were crisp and golden brown, large pieces of chicken. You could tell that these were made fresh. — Combo Snack Pack **A great option for someone who wants both a main and a side, but doesn’t want to spend a lot or eat too many wings. This is your choice of either wings or tenders complete with tots or fries! — Kickin’ Chicken Waff-Wich **Off the menu special! This was something Stefano had recommended for us to try next time. Its really called a Waff-Wich, but she ordered it w/their Kickin’ Chicken without the jalepeno(b/c she doesn’t like her food to be super spicy). You’re able to choose any of the types of filling under their Sandwich section. She said the sandwich was really good… that everything she’s tried has been really good. Hopefully Stefano & the Team will have a chance to look into why the pop-up for the check-in keeps coming up as too far when the truck is right in front of us. I think it might have to do w/whatever address is or is not entered for the business. And THANKYOU for that free extra wing on top of the wing I received for the check-in! Yes, I ate 8 whole wings plus a side of tots. You’ve made me feel so special today. :] I am still full from lunch, lol… until next time!

Was so excited to try this truck because everything coming out of it looked and smelled so good. The Snack Pack caught my eye, made up of 4 wings or 3 tenders + tots or fries. I decided to go with the tenders and fries combo. THEGOOD: — crispy fries — good sauce flavor — 4 chicken tenders instead of 3! THEREASONFORTHE2STARS: — chicken pieces were too thick — meat was dry and rubbery — unnecessary 25-minute wait I later found out they were training someone today so that may have affected things a bit… I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and give the truck another try if I see it again.

For $ 20 I expected more than 8 chicken tenders. But the tenders are HUGE! So delicious I can’t begin to describe but here goes: fresh chicken breasts, light batter that is very subtle and not cakey or breaded, home-made buffalo sauce that is chunky, all covered in a light dusting of cheddar cheese and diced fresh(not pickled) jalapenos. Yum yum! My wife really liked her vegetarian grilled cheese sandwich — she ate the crusts! Highly recommended.

They are slow. Here’s the thing, you basically make two things(fried chicken and fried potatoes of the tot or fry variety) so when it’s busy just keep the fryer going. Like say Friday during peak happy hour times. Just keep frying. It’ll work. No need for my order to take 20 minutes. Keep them dice rolling. That being said besides the waffle slices which were legit quite good, my wings were soggy and the loaded tots had cheese that was cold and unmelted. That’s pretty questionable execution.

Had the opportunity to eat at Brew Wings a few weeks ago when they were at The Bruery in Placentia. They could be great. It took almost 2 hours for them to open, which was 2 hours after the Bruery opened. When they finally opened, we ordered the grilled cheese and the loaded tots with chicken. We waited another 30 to 40 minutes for our food to be ready and the tots were done about 10 minutes before the grilled cheese. The tots were fantastic, covered in jalapenos, cheese, chicken and bacon. The tots were crispy and piping hot, not greasy. The grilled cheese was spicy and equally fantastic. The bread was perfectly browned and crunchy, while the cheese was gooey. Each bite was scrumptious. Based on the food, they knocked it out of the park and would have had 5 stars easily, but the slowness to open, the slowness in getting our food and the employees on the truck this day, just didn’t seem motivated to get food out quickly, it was all slow motion. The Bruery was packed and I think they missed out on a lot of business due to the timing of opening and food delivery.

Over here at my work place we have various trucks that come by. Brew Wings is like good bar food in a truck to me. They have wings, waffles and tots. There are sandwiches and other menu items but so far I’ve only had the wings, loaded tots and a bite of a waffle. This is the second time I’ve had Brew Wings. Both times I got the Loaded Tots. I’ve had the wings and a waffle. so this second time was better than the first time. The amount of toppings and amount of tots is really a lot of food. Here you do get your moneys worth. I substituted the cheddar cheese with bleu cheese so that the tots had bacon, bleu cheese, jalepeno and shredded chicken. You get all this for $ 10 + tax. I can eat a decent amount of food and after this I was definitely full. The tots didn’t get too soggy like last time. Also I saw some other revews about the tots. To me they did not taste frozen. The first time I had the tots yeah they got a bit soggy too fast. But this time they were bomb. The toppings were on point. Good amount of bacon and chicken. The buffalo sauce is amazing. The cook or someone makes it. But it’s really good and adds that kick. The loaded tots is where its all at. The wings are good. I give em a B. They’re not big but not small. The flavor and crispyness is good. However I think I’ll stay with the tots next time or try something sweet. I will definitely be back here. Get the loaded tots.

Very happy with the food from this truck. I had the chicken and waffles– buffalo style wings(you can get battered tenders too so good as well) and a waffle cut in 4. The serving of this is a good, fling size. The right amount of crispness, flavor, sauce, etc. would def eat here again and the stuff was friendly too! Cash or card is accepted as well!

I was in Playa Vista tonight for a free movie in the park with 6 different food trucks. At first site I thought Brew Wings was just wings boy was I wrong. Let me start with… good wings. Here’s what I like about them… it’s buffalo wings with toppers! It took a sec(and a very helpful server guy) to explain it. $ 2 for a topping, $ 4 for unlimited so guess which I chose! He also said I could split them and get creative… so I did. ½ were with Doritos & jalapeño and ½ were with maple syrup and bacon! And both were delicious. It took him a sec to figure out how to key it all in, but he figured it out. He was so impressed he asked to take photos for their site. I’m a creative genius! It’s a great concept they had about 10 toppings that you can also add to a grilled cheese or tater tots! I’ll have to try that next time.

Last week at the LA Beer week festival out of the 7 food trucks there I gave this one a shot because I wasn’t in the mood for over priced«gourmet» burgers or random sea food from a truck on a hot 90+ degree day. These guys had a simple enough menu and for what you got the price wasn’t bad especially considering how most food truck food is over priced. I kept it simple & got a half order of chicken tenders & a Belgium waffle. The food was good, satisfied my hungry. I did assume since I got the tenders instead of regular wings that Id be getting plain chicken strip to dip in the BBQ or ranch they had available. The tenders come in buffalo sauce, no complaints really but they were drowned in buffalo sauce. For actual buffalo wings the more sauce the better but for chicken strips all that extra sauce just soaks into the breading & makes them sort of soggy after 15 minutes or so. Overall nothing life changing but if they’re out somewhere you are & you have a craving for chicken you should check them out.

BrewWings was a featured vendor at Alosta Brewing Company in Covina on 2−19−15. Every day Alosta Brewing Company is open(they are only open Thursday through Sunday), they always have a featured food vendor since they only serve drinks and no food. BrewWings offered their jumbo wings, sweet potato fries and pepperoni crisps for patrons to order from. I ended up purchasing: Half Order of Jumbo Wings(6 pieces), $ 10(includes tax) — Complementary carrot sticks and celery sticks, along with ranch dressing was served along side these 6 jumbo wings. These wings were just average at best. I have definitely had better at other places. I think the only thing going for this order is that these wings are bigger than your typical chicken wings. Sweet Potato Fries, $ 10(includes tax) — These sweet potatoes were good but pretty standard for the most part. It cost an additional $ 2 for each topping, which I didn’t feel like paying for. But I am sure these fries would have been better if I added some kind of topping. Service was friendly and the wait for my food wasn’t too long(less than 15 minutes). With food being just average and not quite memorable, probably wouldn’t order from BrewWings in the future.
