I’ve been coming here 3 years ago and OMG I would recommend The Burrito Panzon de Asada because it’s Big

Their food is great and tasty but beware, it will sit heavy with you. The owners are friendly and very nice, they are Oaxacan so their sazon is very southern Mexico. My favorite thing to order is the Bistec Picado. It’s steak in a Mexican sauce with potatoes. Again, very heavy food to have only once in a while. They are always willing to substitute beans and rice for veggies and salad. Their place is mainly take out, sitting area is small. I highly recommend you place your order over the phone because the parking lot can get crazy.

The cheese I got in my enchilada and sprinkled around my food tasted kind of stale and old. Like, I’m not sure how you even end up with old cheese since it’s in basically every dish as a garnish if not as the protein. Luckily it was merely«overripe» cheese instead of bad, as I did not have any issues later on. It’s LA. There’s always a better Mexican spot.

One of the best cheese, bean and chicken burritos I’ve had in Los Angeles. I’m not even sure how they managed to perfect this but it was delicious. The heat of the spicy hot sauce is HOT. Loved it.

Just the best breakfast burrito in town. Fat and tasty, filled with breakfasty goodness. If you have to be up this early, the day is better faced with one of their breakfast specials. $ 3.50, plus $ 2 if you want chorizo or care asada(or both!), and a litro of MexiCoke with real cane sugar.

I visited for the 1st time and will definitelly come back. The price was good considering the ammount of food, reasonably fast service and good taste. I ordered the Burrito Panzon(their specialty) I give 4⁄5 stars because the Burrito was not that hot when i got it, and was supposedly recently made. But it tasted fresh and it was more food that what i expected. I recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

The food was really good!!! Very fresh! They employees were very polite… Offered a menu to look at. Let me know what I’m options were. It didn’t take long to wait for my food, even though I had just got off and didn’t even want to go. My husband had a Burger and Fries Combo w/a drink. I had a Burrito Panzo with no beans. It was really delicious!!! And one carna asada taco. Very reasonable prices!!!

I had been looking for a place in the area that’s as good as Tacos la Flama. I finally found it at El Burrito Panzon. Best wet burrito in the area hands down. I’ve been here 3 times already in the last 8 days. The parking lot is really busy, but you can usually find a spot on Beverly.

Not bad! I order a panzon burrito came with meat cheese rice guacamole lettuce tomatoes and some red sauce and cheese on top. It also came with a medium drink and chips and salsa $ 6.99 plus tax very cheap and very good I would recommend this place. The customer service was excellent and the gentlemen even gave me a free refill. The inside is small and clean.

Came here after a doctor’s visit because I was starving! It was pretty empty, n the staff greeted me with me welcomes in Spanish. They also speak English, which is good for the rest of the non Spanish speaking people. :-) I didn’t have much money so I ordered a chicken torta. 50 cents short, he took what I had, n also gave me a water. Food was very prompt, inexpensive, and tasty. One of the men even offered to refill ny water and my water bottle. He was very nice, not sure if he liked me but I LOVEGREATCUSTOMERSERVICE! If I’m around the area, I’m sure to come again. Great prices for awesome Mexican street food.

They have the most authentic Mexican food in downtown L A, they have a special dish each day, and burrito is the best that’s the reason why they’re call Burrito Panzon” Their salsa is superb, I usually order to go because there’s only 5 tables and the place is always packed, lunchtime the lines goes all the way to the parking lot. The place is so clean, this business ran by 3 brothers who are always there. Next time you feel like having«mojarra«, fried fish, just give them a call. I’ll give them a. 6 star if it is available

The mental image of ‘plump donkeys’ prancing around lured me in. «Panzon» is an endearing term given to the ‘husky’. lol Rice/beans are delicious, pastor tacos were very good, chile relleno was good, as were the sopes. Taste/portions are good for the price, & staff was accommodating with menu(veggie sopes). Staff is very friendly/funny and seem to know most of their regular customers. Take out is probably most convenient as parking is very tight. Interior has only 4 tiny tables which can accomodate 2 people each. TV was mostly tuned in to Spanish TV each time I was there. If you don’t like Mexican food they have burgers & fries too! lol

This place is a local favorite for people who work in the area. It’s right next to the Winchell’s in the plaza, and the parking lot is horrible so good luck finding a spot! I work a couple blocks away so I just call in my order for pick up. Usually I get the two taco combo, or one of their many delicious burritos. I really love the bean and cheese burrito, and my coworker always gets the famous avocado burrito(she says she orders this at other places but it’s never as good as this place). They give you a bag with chips and salsa for every individual item you order, so that’s cool. The guys that work here are also very friendly and welcoming. I’ve never actually dined in, but the place is really small inside so I probably wouldn’t anyway. Btw the burrito horneado is HUGE, especially for what you pay($ 5.25). It barely fits in the container it comes in. I’m not sure why this place has such a low rating. I’m sure it isn’t the absolute best Mexican joint in the city, but I’ve never been disappointed. Friendly service, very reasonably priced, and in my opinion very tasty! To be fair I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come here outside of work since I don’t live around here. And as far as other commenters saying they got food poisoning here, all I can say is that I’ve been coming here for 5 years and I’ve never gotten sick from it.
