Their salad is CC salad is the best, picked up for group of ten. Tried Sesame wings and Sweet Chili Shrimp for the first time, loved both. I ordered ahead was able to park in lot No charge while picking up. All three items delicious, wings just too good.

So confused how this place gets any more than 3 stars. Cheesecake Factory’s Chinese chicken salad is as good — if not better. The veggie chicken dish was boring and flavorless. The girl at the counter was so over her job. Spent at least 5 – 7 on a personal call while a stood there waiting to order. At one point she went into a side room to finish her call. What?!

After stopping by my job to drop something off, my aunt wanted to stop by a place that she used to frequent for lunch when she was going to work in the area. That was quite some time ago and the place used to set up a buffet for people in the area who stopped by during the lunch hour and they had boxes where you could fix whatever you wanted and carry out. It isn’t like that anymore but she said if their quality hadn’t changed, the wings were still awesome. We each got wings and rice but I got sriracha wings, fried rice and yakisoba while she got sesame wings, steamed rice and vegetables. We went out separate ways but they mixed our orders together instead of separating them and we didn’t think to check it so I ended up with all the chicken and the vegetables while she had the rice and noodles. Sigh. One star lost for miscommunication but the taste of everything else made up for it. I had sticky fingers looting my leftovers in the fridge. Next time I’m in the area, I’d be open to returning and trying the rest of the menu out. There is bubble tea too as a cool bonus.

Awesome Chinese chicken salad — perfect dressing. They also have healthy hot dishes, and traditional cha siu bao and other appetizers, but the salad’s the thing here.

Can’t get enough of their chines chicken salad. Great serving with nuts, lettuce, wonton chips and a nice and tangy Asian vinaigrette dressing. Lettuce always fresh and crispy. Their wonton chips are thin and crisp. Not oily at all. Love getting this for lunch.

I found the poor service(long wait time) and Chinese chicken salad to be underwhelming.

Parking is available on the residential streets behind. Lots of people came in to order but the tables in the restaurant were empty on a Friday evening. The restaurant itself is rather run down and a little dirty. Service is friendly. The sesame chicken wings are delicious, the famous Chinese Chicken Salad was just okay.

Feast from the East provides a casual and simple dining experience with healthy fare and friendly service. They have mastered the Chinese chicken salad and their dressing can be purchase by the bottle. Also, if you call them, you can order pickup and the food is ready within minutes. It’s great when you’re coming home from work or the gym and want something quick and easy for the whole family to enjoy. It has been a Westwood establishment for many years and will be for many more to come. I also recommend their catering platters for entertaining. Enjoy!

My All Time Favorite Chinese Chicken Salad. If you’ve never had the pleasure, you should really treat yourself! One of my friends introduced me to this place years ago. I’ve been a huge fan since then… and as all good friends should do — I’ve also turned others on to it. The greens are always fresh and the dressing is PHENOMENAL! I order a large — just as it is… in order that I can have enough for the next couple of days. that’s how good it is. The parking is not the best, but there is some street parking as well as some paid parking next to the building. I’m not a person who likes to deal with the hassle of finding and then paying for parking, which is why I’m not a frequent diner. My Mom is a fan of the chicken wings, and my sons like the fried rice… but I’m a diehard fan of the CCS. Once again, if you haven’t tried it, you’re doing your palate a disservice.

I’m a frequent customer and a huge fan of their Chinese chicken salad. I order pans and literally can eat it for a couple of days. I also order it when I have to bring something for a gathering or work events. Janet was very helpful and pleasant. However, when I walked in nearing their closing time(keep in mind I called in ahead of time to pickup) the lady was rude and did not greet me and she was counting her cash register. She kept calling for Janet who was busy in the kitchen. Overall besides there rude employee, I do recommend the food. Management should be aware because it doesn’t matter how good the food is, if the service is bad you will lose customers.

I see that many Unilocalers praise the Chinese chicken salad here. I’ve seen it served and it looks very good and fresh. I don’t eat chicken so I ordered spicy Thai spring beans with tofu and a boba Thai tea. Unfortunately the flavors in both items do not taste like traditional Thai grub. The tea is too strong and the creamer tastes like it has Carmel flavoring. The strings been have no spice to them. It’s a shame because the food is fresh and service is quick.

I came here all the time for lunch. Salads as great! Chicken wings are even better! Usually I would give this place 5 stars but today an employee by the name of ALEX made me change my mind. I asked for the Wi-Fi code while dining and while connecting it clearly stated«Enjoy 1 free hour of Wi-Fi«with the feast from the east logo. I asked for the code and without even turning around ALEX stated there is no Wi-Fi for costumers. RUDE! I showed my screen where is state’s 1 free hour and since she was new she just apologized because she didn’t know either way. TODAYITTHETRUEMEANINGOF1BADEXPERIENCECANRUINANENTIRESITUATION. I really like the Chinese Chicken Salad and their seasoned chicken wings from here. The dressing for their salads are really light and tasty. They even sell the dressing bottles for $ 9.99! Not to be confused with california chicken café’s chinese chicken salad though. it’s a totally different taste and type of salad so I would definitely recommend both ! However, the dressing from Feast From The East has me craving this salad more sometimes and their sesame chicken wings are the closest i can get to something similar to kyochon, in wla.

OK, yes, the Chinese Chicken Salad. Get it. Easy to love. And, yes, the Regular is huge enough. Get the Large if you’re sharing. Salad dressing is good enough(and available) to purchase some to-go. Kids will like the Orange Chicken dinner. It’s under the Mini menu, and it’s still hearty between the chicken, the rice, the scallions and their drink of choice. $ 5 can’t be beat. The Broccoli Stirfry is a great choice, too. I added chicken and that totally hit the spot for taste as well as avoiding that bloated heavy feeling that can sometimes happen with this kind of cuisine. What kind of cuisine do I mean? Well, Chinese/Asian. It’s not like a regular Chinese restaurant(whatever that may be). Not explicitly from one region — like Mandarin, et al. Rather, it had influences of some different stand-bys, but it felt original. Parking on the street. Order at the counter, then find a place to sit — if it’s to eat in. Warm lighted and inviting dining room beckons with comfy booths. Will definitely return.

Since college… The best Chinese Chicken Salad I’ve ever had and still after 20 years the only best Chinese salad I’ve ever had literally. I’ve purchased a salad dressing for home use since I live far away, but since I drive all over LA County for a living, I have the luxury of stopping by the Feast ever so often and grabbing a nice large container of Chinese chicken salad and sesame chicken for lunch. I really love this place. Parking is not so great. Street parking if you’re lucky, but it doesn’t matter. The seating is limited, but again, it doesn’t matter. You can’t find a place that serves great Chinese chicken salad, not even Chinese restaurants.

It’s been a long time since we were back to Feast from the East. Since they started selling they Chinese Chicken Salad dressing in the Asian Markets and Costco there was no need to go to the original store. It use to be a little take out place selling a lot of Chicken Salads. They have taken the two spaces next to it and sell bunch of other things like wings. Stick with the one constant Chicken Salad. The wings were just OK. The Chicken Shitaki stir-fry was pretty bad with plenty of it. Parking is always a problem for this restaurant. Limited service. Great Chicken Salad !
