I have been coming here for years, and the lady that works here treats me as if it was the first time visiting and maybe felt that I have been rude to her. I vow to never come back here again for the following reasons: 1. I don’t like the fact that this place looks really filthy. I didn’t know how filthy it looked until one day I looked into the back, and there were stocks of dirty pans with oil on them. 2. The food that they serve tastes and looks as if was sitting out the entire day. Nothing that I eat here tastes fresh. And I get it, it’s a Chinese Food place in the ghetto — but I still wish someone had the decency to actually serve fresh food. 3. Oh yeah, Confirmed. They have a B rating health inspection. Not good, and certainly not trustworthy. 4. Customer service is lacking, and certainly not up to par. This lady knows me, and she is ALWAYS rude when I come in. I might talk to her one day, and ask her. Here’s why they got their 2 stars. Because their prices are reasonable, and they give you a GREAT amount of food. With 7 dollars, you can seriously feed 2 kids. I don’t have kids fortunately, but that’s I’m saying! If you can feed two mouths, then you are good!

Asked for a one-item bowl, but he served a two item bowl with extra rice. It wouldn’t have been a problem if the rice was delicious, but it tasted like it was made with canned tomato sauce. No, thank you! Usually like to give a place a second chance if their service is poor but their food is good; Hong Kong Express is not one of those places.

Sorry, but this place is bad. Probably the worst Chinese food I ever ate. Despite the huge portions and the cheap price, it just doesn’t cut it for me. The orange chicken is just big chunks of fried dough with tiny chicken pieces in it(if any), and the sweet and sour shrimp were not cooked enough, the batter was mushy and soft. The place needs a good remodeling, too.

Not as awesome as the China Bowl on Crenshaw. But they are second in line. Friendly staff and large portions of food. Also Panda Express is the worst place to eat for chinese food Tiffany.

Oh my goodness, their crispy pan noodles are super good! Also, their portions are huge! They have a very nice atmosphere as well and the service is always good. Definitely recommended.

Haven’t been here since 2004 but I used to eat here all the time and knew the back story to the co-owner and all that fun miscellaneous gossip. Aside from that the food is «bomb» indeed, as someone put it — LOL. =) It’s next door to a nail salon, Ralphs, Rite Aid and a bunch of other stores that make it a convenience stop.
