Originally from Israel lived in New York now residing in California I have to say from East Coast to West Coast this is probably the best Mediterranean food of ever tasted.
If you have any parties or any family gatherings and you feel lazy call these people they will make your gathering a very special one.

Very tasty homemade style meals, good portions for lunch, nice service, clean place. Kosher. Recommended

What an amazing joint. We tried a bit of everything. The owner greeted us and treated us like we were family. The mushroom burekas were just exquisite. Unfortunately, the only downside for me is that I’m never in reseda. I’ll have to tell the owner he needs to make a west la location next time I go in. Enjoy!

Excellent food but lacking ambience. We had falafel, chicken kabob, vegetable stew with couscous. Very reasonable and delicious. The salads were all excellent. They were out of shawarma, though, and the place was a little sparse (basic tables and chairs) but that’s par for the course in kosher eateries. It’s worth it for excellent and authentic Israeli cuisine. Be’te’avon!

Great food had done Cuba my friend brought me then I came and bought myself since great chicken for lunch. The hummus is amazing!!!

We were looking for a clean, quiet Israeli restaurant to meet up with family that we hadn’t seen in years. I Unilocaled and found Mazal Tov Café, and walked in to find exactly what we were looking for! A beautiful, clean restaurant with extremely friendly owners who made insanely good food! We had falafel (insanely good!!!), kabobs, rice, veggies, and even Israeli soda! It was awesome! I live in Long Beach but will totally drive back out to the valley for this amazingly great food! They cater too! Oh! Did I mention the Hummus and Tehina?! Wow! Not too salty, perfect! :) Love this place! :) Thank you for a lovely, delicious meal cooked with heart! :)

I have been there twice! The food was excellent especially the chicken liver and pargiot all the salads are fresh and home made. Mazal and Shimon are very friendly and can’t stop asking if everything is ok or if we needed anything else.
Come see for yourself it is a great restaurant!
I am going back tonight for more!!!

I’m usually not a big fan of Kosher Mediterranean food, but my friend dragged me into this restaurant last week as I was visiting him in LA. The restaurant was nice and clean and the food was absolutely amazing! These guys know how to put together a great meal. Thank you Mazal Tov, definitely enjoyed it!

Great Kosher Restaurant…
The owner is really nice.
And the food was fresh & delicious.
The meat was seasoned & cooked to perfection.
Good falafels & hummus too.

Decided to try this restaurant based on 5 star ratings. Food is fantastic Best falafel ever. All food so fresh and the restaurant is clean and open. Lovely friendly service. Israeli salad is devine. Will be back again. So many things to try. Recommend for everyone who loves delicious Mediterranean food. Try it… you’ll love it.

I visit this place before 3 Weeks ago they have great food. Everything is home maid fresh and clean I will definitely recommend them to all my friend that will visit Los Angeles good job guys !!!

Mazal tov catered my sons brit-​milla and they went above and beyond everything they promised and i expected… i truly love the fact they took all the stress off my shoulders and everyone at my party was happy with the food and countless selections. 5 stars!

They just opened everything is brand-​new everything is so clean .
The lady behind the counter fill up the plate like she’s your mom and you just got home from school lol .
I was there at lunchtime, I ordered the Moroccan chicken with olives and rice and Isreali salad and hummus…

The nice lady was so sweet, she came to my table and brought me a plate with small portions of everything she made that day! just for me to try, and asked my opinion… the food was delicious !
after a small conversation I realized she’s the owner, she and her husband have a catering Business for the last 20 years and they decided to open a restaurant, great couple ! It’s a family owned business and it’s kosher ! Go check this place you can thank me later !

Love this place, authentic middle eastern food, shawarma, falafel to die for, great home cooked meal! Amazing salads, clean place, I ate lunch there, good prices, great service, definitely recommend for lunch and dinner or even take out, will use their catering service at my next party too, yum yum yum
