This place is nice. It’s quite easily missed when you drive by even though it’s located on a street corner, and it is located in the outskirts south of UCLA in Westwood, Los Angeles. A small nice and cozy place to enjoy a good meal. We came for brunch on an early Saturday afternoon. I was at my sleepy eyes upon showing up since I sleep in on weekends when I don’t need to work. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Omelette with cup of coffee. My friends who also went ordered the Chicken Omelette. First I didn’t much about this place, and more than anything else, it was a far drive from the east side. I just to hang out with friends, have a regular meal(omelette) and just go home not much expectations about the food. Well, after having that no expectations assumption, I was wrong. My food was delicious! The omelette was served very fluffy compared to the other places I’ve been to. That means the eggs are fresh scrambled very well. I think there was butter added into the eggs to make it smoother. Anyhow not much Salmon inside, but whatever amount inside the omelette was really good. I honestly thought the Chicken Omelette my friends ordered was even tastier. I should have listened to the waiter after dumbfoundedly asked him which one he recommends. There were chunks of chicken in the omelette. Both omelette orders also has chunks of sliced mushrooms, and traces of diced green vegetables inside. Very good. And it’s served with a green salad and French Fries. After getting seated we were served fresh bread that’s still warm with butter. Our drinks and coffee came quickly too. My coffee was very good as it helped me wake up. Freshly brewed, and to the point. Upon going in, the waiter asked if we had a reservation. I didn’t know we did as we waited for the others to show up. I said no, but we still got seated quite quickly in the other dining room. with a bar. But after finding out we had a reservation, we got moved back into the other dining room with more people. Personally, I would’ve stayed at the other dining area because it was less crowded. But oh well. The restaurant was quite cramped to the point where isles was pretty much non-existent. My chair was kicked by whomever that walked by… and it feels like I’m also sitting with the others patrons on their table. Lol. Anyhow, if your afraid of people, or is claustrophobic… this won’t be your type of environment. Yes, the restaurant maximizes the tables to accommodate. The service is superb. We got a 15% discount on our bill for checking in on Unilocal. The waiter is very accommodating to our needs. He made sure we were content with our meals. The bus boy kept filling out water and my coffee. The interior seems a little dated, but still nice. A very well kept place with a comfortable setting, but just a bit too cramped for me. They serve a variety of dishes which includes sandwiches and alcoholic drinks. Parking might be a bit difficult to find. But do enjoy your fine dining here.

One of the best brunch places I have been to. Made a reservation over phone and got our table immediately as we got three. The have bottomless mimosas on weekends. They are totally worth it! The service was on point and fast! Bottomless mimosas servings were great. They pour it in front of you so you can customize champagne and orange juice quantity. I ordered a chicken mushroom omelette and it was delicious. It comes with fries and salads. Portion was pretty big. Will definitely come again. 5⁄5 for the service. 5⁄5 for the food and 5⁄5 for the ambience.

The waiters are really friendly and the service is great, one of our favorites was Carlos he was very quick and easygoing, was always prompt to refilling our mimosas when we finished. The food was honestly great as well, although a little simple, the chicken sandwich was one of our favorite sandwiches with the Brian’s sandwich as our second. Definitely come here if you’re in the mood for bottomless mimosas, the service towards women is very chivalrous as they get served first. Warning: is is really easy to get drunk here if you’re not careful. $ 15 dollar mimosas and 15% discounts mon-Friday only by Unilocal check in. The atmospheres is great and the aesthetic is very cute and French themed, an easy favorite bunch spot from now on

I’ve never had such a great experience at a brunch restaurant! $ 15 bottomless mimosas! The best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had($ 10)! And literally the best service ever. Carlos and Val are ONPOINT! Once we finished a round of mimosas, they were right there on the refill(we ended up leaving with 10 mimosas a person). They were super fun and down for conversational despite how, daresay, drunk we were getting. Tip a lot because they definitely deserve it! ALSO, did I mention the food was amazing? The bread alone is FANTASTIC. I don’t know any other parties that get as excited as us about bread, but it was honestly the best bread I’ve ever had at a restaurant. This place is 100% worth it and I recommend completely! I wish I went here way sooner in my UCLA career. Ample seating so come on thru for a great brunch!

A nice surprise! Passed by this restaurant for a thousand times but never went in until one morning my friend wanted to give it a try. Went in with her with a nice surprise, I had the best… Yes the bestttttttttt salmon Benedict I’ve ever had in my life! Their smoked salmon was at its best that wouldn’t make me feel too filling(u know how sometimes smoked salmons are so fatty and it gets very filling that u can’t eat too much?), this place had the best smoked salmons with their perfectly made egg Benedict’s and very light sauce with salad on the side. My friend hates veggies but she finished all the veggie salad and told me they were so fresh and sweet. It was definitely a nice surprise and the only complaint is that I couldn’t finish my plate coz I get full easily and it was a waste Coz it didn’t taste as good when I brought home. I’m going back today, hopefully it will taste same good!

I eat at Soleil every so often with my parents and we celebrated Mother’s Day there this year. The food at Soleil is consistently good. I have had moules-frites and boeuf bourguignon, both of which are great choices. The mussles had a bit too much garlic for my liking but are cooked well. The beef Bourguinon is my go-to meal; the beef is cooked perfectly and the sauce is delicious. Entrees come with french fries or scalloped potatoes; you can’t go wrong with either. I typically get the fries, which are crispy and skinny. This is a very light dish and doesn’t feel heavy or leave you feeling stuffed. It comes as a small stew with mushrooms, carrots and peas, but no pasta or other starch. Dip a piece of baguette in the sauce. My parents typically get the filet of Sole, which is not on the regular menu but is almost always offered as a special. Both of my parents love it, even my mom who does not typically care for fish. I recommend the scalloped potatoes to go with the fish. It is a small restaurant and I would not suggest dining with a large group. There usually seems to be several«regulars» and it has a homey feel. The owner, Luc, is French Canadian and very friendly and welcoming. Our server was very attentive and it was a very nice experience.

Food? Average. Atmosphere? Average. Service? EXCEPTIONAL! I wanted so badly to love this place, with its cute outdoor seating and close proximity to my apartment. Unfortunately, every thing we ate, down to the bread basket, was just plain average. The three stars are mostly due to the fact that the waiter fulfilled our expectations and more with his service. He was kind, attentive, and informative. He let us taste all three of the wine options we were considering, always kept an eye on us, and helped us with all decisions regarding the menu with genuine concern that we enjoy our meals.

Went to Soleil for my birthday. To start we had the crab cake, and I had the beef stroganoff while my wife had the something Picasso pasta. The crab cake had good flavor but was somewhat mushy in the center. Both the pastas were very tasty and the service was great. Overall the experience was nice, but I would not choose to return for dinner(I have heard their brunch is good).

—-TOTAL FAIL — - This was easily the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in the past year. I had a party of 8. Everyone’s food came at the same time except mine. When they brought out my dish about 10 min later(mind you, this is while my friends are waiting for my plate to come out even though I insisted they dig in), it’s the wrong dish. I told the waiter, that was not what I argued and he said yes you did. Then I told him I ordered the chef’s special and he immediately realized he was wrong. He took the dish back to the kitchen. My friends finally ate because their food was getting ridiculously cold. They bring me the chef’s special 20 minutes later which was a pasta linguine with vegetables and olive oil. The food was TERRIBLE. I had to add parmesan, salt and pepper(all in bottles by the way, not even fresh). The chicken was the worst part though — it was definitely stored away in a freezer. At one point my friend next to me saw a waiter near the kitchen hitting his head with a baguette as a joke. We were disgusted — I really hope they don’t serve that stuff to their customers. In the end, they still charged for my plate after f*cking up so badly. I was shocked, but because it was a birthday dinner, I made no fuss. I paid the $ 25 for what was the worst service and food and walked out. So to all my Unilocal homies, if you are reading this, DONOTEATHERE.

This place is so weird. The décor is so weird and tacky and it can sometimes get stuffy inside. I never really liked any of the servers either. Used to have bottomless mimosas on the weekend but not sure if they do now. Also had bottomless mussels too. Those were really the only reasons why I went. Haha Also there isn’t much of a wait during the weekend so that’s a huge plus. Every time I’ve been it’s just been an ok experience. I ordered a steak before and it was the tiniest piece ever. The lamb chops are pretty dinky too. There was once a time when someone took me here and then made me pay for our meal… on a date… lol. Not sure who was exactly the loser there… haha So now I only remember that! Bonus: There’s a pretty cool ice cream place across the street.

This is a good restaurant, the food is well prepared and the service is fine. I use this restaurant as a place to take family and friends visiting LA. It has a nice décor and feels«French.» The owner is a nice guy who comes to each table and checks in on your meal. Sometimes he tosses in some treat on the house. I see another reviewer mentioned the mussels on Wednesday. It is a great deal. Parking can be a challenge, but manageable.

We had reservations for tonight(Saturday night) but it wasn’t needed. Most tables were empty but we also arrived fairly early for dinner service(8pm) because we have a toddler. The staff was very warm and friendly with a reasonably knowledge of wines. The room was a bit on the warmer side but with a generally older clientele, it was probably appropriate. The first of our order was the side salad and the lettuce seemed fresh and served with a delicious Dijon Vinaigrette dressing. We also ordered some delicious French fries in a cone to share as an appetizer for all 3 of us. Great start so far. My entrée was the pan seared white fish with a side of vegetables and scalloped potatoes(you can also opt for fries). Presentation was basic with no fluff. The fish was perfectly seared and I started with the thinner pieces which were perfectly done. But once I got to the thicker parts, the flavor didn’t seem to penetrate the fish so it tasted a bit bland. The potatoes were a slightly over cooked and when you tried to pick them up with your fork, they simply fell apart. Vegetables were nicely done with the perfect amount of crunchiness. All in all, I found my entrée to be a decent dish that delivered for the most part but fell a bit flat where it counted most. My wife also commented that the salad was a great start. She ordered Crab Cakes with Farfalle pasta. The presentation was also very basic, «left something to be desired» were her words. Both the crab cakes and pasta were drowning in oil. The pasta was also completely bland. We felt that her entrée was quite disappointing. They have an adjoining café which serves poutine so it’s worth a try for us. In fact, that’s what we really wanted to try originally but learned afterwards that the restaurant doesn’t serve it. As for the restaurant itself, we might have to pass on a return.

My experience was very poor. The food from the restaurant side really left something to be desired. As I read the reviews, most of the really positive reviews regarding the quality of the food are from the bar side, not the restaurant. On the the restaurant side, the service is good, but the food is not good. I went there because I really wanted to try the poutine and I wanted to speak french to the staff. I didn’t fully understand that the poutine is only served on the bar side. On the restaurant side you cannot order the poutine, it is not allowed. My entrée was oily and bland. I will never go back to this restaurant. Also, the patrons on the restaurant side were all older(I’m in my 40s). Very old crowd. However, I think I may go to the bar side to try the poutine, or I might just wait until we go to Montréal.

I’ve been here a couple times for their Wednesday all you can eat mussels and fries night($ 22)! To participate in this AYCE deal, you must call at least 24 hours in advance for reservations. They are actually pretty strict with this. one time I called the morning of, and they told me it had to be a full day ahead of time so they can buy the right amount of mussels for the day. I guess it makes sense… their mussels have always been very fresh! They also now have four different flavors of steamed mussels you can choose from: a wine/garlic sauce, a creamy wine/garlic sauce, a curry sauce, and a beer sauce. My favorite is the original wine/garlic flavor that brings out the sweetness and juiciness of the mussels. My main complaint is that the service is slow… so slow that at times it feels as if they don’t want us to continue eating. The mussels are cooked to order, so understandably there is a wait for the food to be brought out each time. However, catching our waiter’s attention to order the next round of mussels would take a significant amount of time too. So in the end, it felt like we had spent more than half of our meal waiting around.

Been meaning to try this place for a long time but haven’t been out to the area. Excited we got the chance to come here tonight. Parking: Parking is tricky, your options are limited street parking or parking at Ross. I saw a comment from the business here dated yesterday(see photo of comment screenshot) where the owner said you could park at the Ross parking lot for 1 hour free, then they would comp you for the 2nd hour. I was disappointed at the end of our meal when they said they do NOT do that; the manager told us, «just buy a small chocolate from Ross» in order to get the second hour free. Lame that their comment was posted yesterday and they didn’t honor it today, but oh well. Dinner: When you walk in, they ask if you’re interested in Dinner(right side of the restaurant) or Tapas/Poutine Bar(left side of the restuarant). We opted for the tapas-style – B is from Canada so ever since we discovered this place he has been eyeing all their poutine options, which are not explicitly offered on the dinner menu. Poutine Bar: Our plan was to enjoy as much poutine as possible, and that’s exactly what we did. We ordered the following: Poutine Mario(Traditional poutine, with cheese curds and gravy): This hit the spot just right. The gravy was rich, the cheese curds were squeaky, and it was just overall delicious. They know their ratio of french fries: gravy: cheese curds. We recommend this for poutine newbies. Poutine Malik(Cheese curds with merguez sausage and a harissa cream sauce) — It doesn’t look that great when it comes out(the sauce ends up being a pinky, not-so-appetizing color), but it does taste delicious. I thought it would be spicy but it’s not, though it’s definitely flavorful. B didn’t like the sausage too much but I thought it went well together. Poutine Daniel(Cheese curds with shredded duck and cognac peppercorn sauce) — This came out so rich, flavorful, and overall amazing. This was me and B’s favorite, hands down. You’ve got to order this. Service: Our waiter was very attentive, checked up on us often, made sure we always had a full glass of water, and was very timely. They were prepping for a party that was taking place that night so there was a friendly, happy buzz in the atmosphere with the servers and owner walking around. Overall, good food, good service. A little pricey for my taste, we ended up spending about $ 40 to try all the poutine above.(There is a deal where you can get 3 flavors of poutine for $ 20 but the portions end of being much smaller than the Petite size). Parking is tough, but it’s Westwood, what can you do? I recommend checking this place out.

This place is quite interesting that it divides the bar and the restaurant. I haven’t tried the bar yet, but only the restaurant. The food here is quite delicious. I like my crab cake a lot but the duck is a little too sweet, still quite tasty though. The downsides are the interiors and parking. The Interior design is not my taste. It’s a little kitschy in my opinion. In terms of parking, it is very difficult to find a spot since it is street parking on Westwood. Besides these two things, the restaurant is quite nice.

Had a fabulous time for Thanksgiving dinner, doing it French style was a good decision, everything was cooked perfectly and the turkey was seasoned just right, moist and fresh. Same for the trimmings and the pumpkin pie was light and flavorful for a nice finish. Service was attentive and paced nicely considering it was a holiday meal, there was no rush. Lastly, the atmosphere was the quintessence of country France, casual elegant and not stuffy, plus the owner was on top of managing the place, making sure things went smoothly. A definite come back!

We went to Soleil Westwood this past Sunday to celebrate our son’s birthday — along with his girlfriend and our daughter and her fiancée. None of us had eaten here before but thought that it sounded good(based on the website information) and wanted to give it a try. We are extremely glad that we did. Our reservation was honored upon arrival(no need to wait) and we had a wonderful round table which made conversation much easier. The service was attentive, efficient, and friendly — with requests addressed immediately. In addition to the menu, which offered a wide-range of choices, there were several specials which added to the variety. We shared salad and soup entrees(the onion soup, house salad, and spinach salads were all very good but the potato/garlic soup of the day was bland. For main courses, we had seafood pasta, filets, chicken, lamb, and duck with everyone enjoying their meals. The portions were more than adequate so no one walked away hungry. For dessert, we shared an ice cream filled chocolate crêpe(good but nothing special) and an apple tart(excellent). Soleil also allows you to bring your own wine in and, as per their website, charges $ 10/bottle for corkage. In fact, however, the charge per bottle was $ 14. I chose not to say anything since we had all enjoyed the experience, but do believe they need to either honor what the website quotes or update the website. Because we were six, an 18% gratuity was added to the bill — since the service easily deserved this, we were fine with it. In all, the meal was well worth the cost. For the six of us, including the wine we brought, the appetizers, main courses, and dessert, our total bill(including tax and tip) was about $ 45/person. We not only will return, but will encourage friends to join us.

We went for Brunch and didn’t have reservations. We got seated immediately. Bottomless mimosas cannot go wrong. And it was right across the street from the Escapedom which we were visiting that day. Parking is a little tough since it is street parking on Westwood Blvd, but on Sundays meters are free. The Food: We tried the Escargo, i was a fan. Garlic and butter how can you go wrong. I wish they had more sauce I would have soaked all my bread in it. I also had the Goat Cheese Omelet, which was perfect. The perfect amount of goat cheese and the french fries that it came with were crunchy and tiny shoe string. Customer Service was great. Filled our drinks and cleared our plates immediately.

Soleil is a gem known by those in the neighborhood(Westside) for comfortable French-Canadian cuisine. My wife have brunch here often(the chicken crêpe is amazing), but have also eaten here for dinner and lunches. Service is always good. A few years ago(has it been that long?) they opened up Petite Soleil next door, which serves mostly the same menu in a more modern and casual atmosphere. The restaurant is known for their poutines — french fries topped with steak and cheese, or with mussels, or duck. If you can’t make up your mind, get the poutine flight!

I’ve been here twice now – once for brunch with some girlfriends for a bachelorette outing and another time for their all you can eat mussels and fries night(Wednesdays). While I enjoyed both visits, the brunch was a better experience overall. I had their crab cakes benedict for brunch and it was great, with perfect Hollandaise sauce(I hate it when this sauce is done poorly). Everyone enjoyed their food, and the service was impeccable. They did charge us a cake cutting fee but it didn’t seem too exorbitant and they did a nice job. Great brunch experience. Then I returned a few weeks later to try their all you can eat mussels night. It’s a great deal – $ 20 for all the mussels and fries you can handle! Each«round» comes in a bowl with a choice of 4 different sauces. Our table tried them all and I think we liked the curry and beer sauces the best(the other two are original and creamy – just not that flavorful, we felt). Their fries are the skinny matchstick variety, and always came to our table fresh and piping hot. The mussels were really tiny but hey, for AYCE what can you expect. The first two rounds took a while, since it’s a popular night and the place was full. Rounds 3 and 4 came out really fast, and by then I was done. If you like mussels and fries it might be worth a try, but be prepared for slower service. STEPHJUDGEMENT: Good French-inspired place for brunch or to eat an ungodly amount of mussels on Wednesday nights.

«In France cooking is a serious art form, a national sport.» Julia Child In Westwood too at Quebec born, Executive Chef and Owner, Luc Alarie’s Soleil. Dine brunch, lunch(15% off [lunch only] with Unilocal check in), dinner, poutine or dessert. Pair your fare with an adult beverage from thoughtfully culled wine and beer offerings. Sit back. Enjoy Francophile Zen, genuinely pleasant, professional service. What I really wanted was escargot, salad, wine but it was midday and still working I opted for one of the daily specials, Shepherd’s Pie. My guy chose from the menu, ordered the Warm Spinach & Goat Cheese Salad. Baguette, soft butter and our iced teas(refilled at no charge) began our meal along with my special’s choice over salad, creamy Potato Leek Soup. Even at lunch rush, there is no rush here as it should be. In a time, allowing for decompression, conversation, our food arrived. Shepherd’s Pie(savory beef not lamb), an appropriate portion, mashed potatoes atop and corn niblets within, surrounded by perfectly dressed crisp, fresh greens and a surprise: needle thin, salted just right, pomme frites that my lunch date quickly glommed on to supplement his salad. Warm Spinach & Goat Cheese Salad disappointed him, although I found it delicious, he nit-picked re. spinach stems(Three guesses who removes them at home then incorporates in stock, soup or omelets and someone doesn’t know the difference?). In a resto environment, although it would be nice to do without, it doesn’t seem efficient to spend labor dollars to do so AND they ARE good for you, so there! Metered parking on Westwood Boulevard, not sure what the evening valet situation is. If you’re early enough, you might try parking at the Westwood Recreation Center’s Veteran Avenue lot(park closes at 10PM) and walking, where it’s two hours free. A Soleil dinner is in our future when there can be more time, wine…

I’ve found a new favorite French restaurant in Westwood(not that I had a previous favorite). I came here with a friend on a Friday night and it wasn’t too crowded. We were seated immediately despite not having reservations. For appetizers, we decided to go with the cheese platter. It came with 5 different types of cheese, some leafy greens, and a plate of crackers. I’m not a huge cheese expert so I don’t remember exactly what types of cheeses were included, but they were all delicious! I think this dish could easily be shared among 3 – 4 people. For my main dish, I went with the beef bourguignon. SOSOGOOD. The beef is served like a stew. The meat is cut in chunks and served with carrots and peas. You also get a choice of potatoes on the side: either french fries or scalloped potatoes. I went with the scalloped potatoes and omg they were the best thing ever. The dish would not have been complete without the potatoes, that’s how good they were! The beef was just a tad bit salty, but the meat was tender and flavorful, and if you eat it with the potatoes you can’t really taste the saltiness. The service here unfortunately was not that great. It took forever to flag down a waiter, and our food took even longer to come out. They weren’t even that busy that day so I don’t know what was going on. And we had to ask for the check 4 times. The first two times I guess they just forgot. Then another waiter forgot again and accidentally brought us the dessert menu… And then finally when we were able to get the bill, they accidentally bring us a different table’s bill. If it wasn’t for the delicious food, I would have rated this place 3 stars. But I’d still recommend this place to anyone looking for great French food in Westwood!

I’ve been for dinner a couple times now and it was good. Slightly different menus, which is always impressive to me – that the feature what’s available and/or the Chef’s whim. This is a nice place to have a conversation, free-wheeling or intimate. And the food and prices were both very palatable. Was feeling a bit of whimsey myself when I ordered the classic, Beef bourguignon. Not sure the last time I had that, but it sounded good. I definitely liked it. A flavorful beef swam gently in the sauce. Though I enjoyed it, there was a slight quality to the beef that struck me as not quite perfect. I think it was simply overcooked. Not a deal-breaker, but — The potatoes and vegetable were very good. I opted the more country fried as opposed to their fries. Potatoes were cooked a minute earlier, it seemed, and could have stood a bit more time(ironically). The cheese plate(Plateau de Fromage) as an appetizer was a total winner. Though I prefer the cheese dish at the end of the meal, I wanted to be a team player. Very good and of course awesome bread. Subsequently I have tried the Shrimp Soleil, which is delicious, as well as the Cornet de Pomme Frites, which is magnificent. Thin, salty, perfectly cooked and generously stuffed in a metal cornet. Another dinner had me trying the Lamb Shank, and I can tell you it was outstanding. Good sized, wonderfully flavored — a hearty entrée that doesn’t challenge you.(Well, maybe a bit if you try to get the marrow out) By chance, I had the same server both times, and he and his support team do an admirable job. Soleil is a nice change of pace in a neighborhood full of tasty options. I look forward to someday trying the Wednesday night mussels. I see they have a $ 12 lunch special, too, and that looks worth a try. I would absolutely recommend Soleil Westwood.

Delicious! Came for Canadian Thanksgiving, so it was pretty crowded. They were a bit understaffed, but overall good service. Great beers. 1. Poutine(3 of your choice): $ 20. I would suggest this if you want to try their options. They have many interesting ones. I got the one with mussels, duck, and mushrooms. All were fantastic. The art of poutine is really preventing the fries from getting soggy with all the sauce on top, and they do it well here. Even after 20 minutes, the fries were still crispy. Well done. 2. Lamb chops $ 13. Delicious, but really two tiny pieces. The price is reflective of the portion size. 3. Tarte tatin: Soft sweet apple on a well-baked base. Comes with a light whipped cream. Not too heavy. I liked it.

I had a nice experience here with two of my classmates. We ordered one order of french fries with duck on top($ 18) to split, and we each ordered a small tapas serving(costing between $ 8 and $ 13). You have a choice between sitting on the Petit” side of the restaurant catered to «tapas style» small-serving dishes or the more traditional full-size entrée meals. We chose to sit on the«Petit» side. Choices: The atmosphere is nice, and the food choices are quite varied, ranging from escargot to duck to filet mignon, to meat-pie. Their menu is available online If you enjoy French style food, I think you will find something to love here. Service: Our server was not very attentive. I only had one refill of water in my 1+ hour stay here, and I felt like the number of waiters per table wasn’t sufficient for their relatively high pricing. Food Flavors: Our $ 18 duck had maybe… 3oz of duck shredded atop of thin sliced french fries, which was maybe the total size of 1.5 In-N-Out fries orders. The gravy was nice, but in general I was lacking«duck.» My lamb chops were prepared rare and I liked them. There was nothing particularly special about them and I liked it. Food Value: Meh… $ 18 for french fries and maybe 3oz of duck is not what I was expecting. $ 13 for two very small lamb chops also bothered me a bit. Conclusion: This is an average French restaurant without anything particularly noteworthy.

The timing was lucky for us, in landing AYCE moules frites on the right night— 4 various types of sauces to choose from… Skinny, European-style fries in a conical basket. Fries were not as light and crisp as could be, and there was the ever slightest fishy smell when first bowls of mussels brought out to us. Did not taste off though. Best were beer Chablis & white wine sauce. $ 20/person on Wed with 24 hr advance Rez. Watch carefully when parking. If in residential, certain blocks clearly marked as no parking anytime. Lucky us… We walked. Exceptionally friendly customer service. So appreciated. Rosé wine for each of us was flat, dry,& lacked crispness. Fr Rhôné Valley. Good meal.
