Stephanie Koven, MD

Dr. Koven is perfectly fine. I started going to her because she was the first of many doctors I called who took my insurance, was accepting new patients, and provided women’s healthcare services.
My one issue –I was having minor back pain as a result of surgery a year or two ago, and she casually sent me to go get an x-​ray at the Cedars x-​ray clinic. Turned out this cost $ 1000 DOLLARS, of which my insurance only covered 80%. Would really love if if doctors would have more consideration of what things actually cost before they recommend them.

Dr. Koven as well as her staff was completly efficient, welcoming and kind. I felt in great hands for my OBGYN and she also listened to me about my other health conccerns. I had a perfect check up and I loved all the nurses, the front desk and everyone there. Clean and organized and overall great experience. Plus they referred my to other doctors I needed to now about on my Health EPO plan with Anthem.

I cant say enough about how amazing Dr Koven and her entire office is. I have been a patient of her office for the past 3 years and no matter how busy she is Dr Koven never makes you feel like your not a priority. At one point I have worked at cedars and have had several other doctors and she is by far my favorite. She will advise or respond to me through cedars email system and will re-​auth prescriptions or send over me a new one after I describe my issue without making me waste time coming in (unless its absolutely necessary that she sees me first). I got my husband to switch over to her as well and he loves her. He has Fibromyalgia and when a person deals with widespread pain on a constant basis it is hard pinpoint exactly how your feeling or the location of your pain. Also as a fibro patient its often that you deal with medical professionals that dont believe you… but not with Dr Koven she made him feel totally comfortable and she either gave him more insight on his situation or didn’t hesitate to refer him to the proper specialist. I recently had to get a ton of testing and a physical examination done because I got accepted to nursing school and it usually takes at lest a month to get an Appt for a PE… well they got me in to see her in 2 weeks to ensure I made my submission deadline… talk about AWESOME! Ok Ill stop here but can go on and on about how much Dr. koven and her office rocks… oh and I love Andrea Stailey, the Nurse Practitioner! All around its a great practice!
