So, do you like it fast and cheap?
Imagine if…
…you could get grocery store sushi at a restaurant maybe a little more freshly made. I don’t mean that in a negative way. I’m referring to value: quality and price. That’s kinda what you get here. I have been here many times and feel that I am getting what I pay for. Sure there are many nearby expensive sushi joints. But sometimes you just want something quick and cheap.

My favorite sushi spot, I normally eat it there but I wanted to cuddle up and eat it due to rainy weather, lol. And there customer service is just perfect, I walked in and walked out. they really make me feel special every time I go. And the sushi let’s just say it is to die for. Love the dynamite-​shrimp tempura-​and California roll off course. You won’t be dissapointment

One of my top favorite places to have sushi. Service is Great. The waitress is the sweetest and has been here since I started coming to Koo. Sushi is affordable, quick and delicious.

My wife and I found Sushi Koo in a moment of desperation after a long Target run at the Beverly Connection/​Beverly Center.
It’s right across the street and we decided to give it a try. We were both surprised to see a sign that all sushi was $ 3.50. Finding cheap and good sushi is a tough find in LA culture where the prices for good food and drinks is unbelievable at times.
Sushi Koo is not the best sushi you’ll find if you’re looking for really good food, but the prices are hard to beat and can definitely satisfy your sushi cravings when you’re hungry. The staff is nice as well and overall have great customer service. I recommend giving it a try!
*Note that it’s cash only, though they do have an ATM machine inside

A few of my friends suggested that I eat here as a late birthday celebration.
OMG, so glad they knew about this place, because I was BEYOND satisfied! Everything came out so quickly, and was so delicious and flavorful!
Not to mention inexpensive! $ 3.50 for most rolls! We ate so much, and I had to look out for the chefs/​dining attendant! Threw a fat tip at em, because it was such an awesome experience! This was about a month ago; I think I’m going to stop in tonight though! Yay, excited!

This place is just awful. The fish was not fresh, the rice was not sticky and packed enough to hold even without dipping in sauce, the gyoza was over fried and mushy inside, the service was lackluster at best, and even the wasabi was bland.
We left hungry rather than finish the meal.

This place really sucks! Service and all.
I told the waitress I wanted baked salmon roll so she up sales me to the volcano roll which would have been fine if it didn’t taste nasty; deep soaked in oil fried Cali roll, topped with baked salmon smothered with mayo and some nasty sweet sauce and garnished with the most stale «crunchy» strips I’ve ever had. Took one bite and literally started to feel sick. The waitress having well seen that her recommendation didn’t go well asked me about it and I said it was «gross» she however went on to charge me for it. Never even offered to substitute it. Thanks a lot. I love paying for gross food I don’t eat!

Sushi Koo came to my office as a pop up shop and it was okay! The sushi roll itself was very small for $ 5 especially since it was just a vegetable roll.

Great nearby lunch spot to get my sushi fix. There aren’t any prices on their menu because they go by the plate system. I usually order 3 plates which is $ 10.50 — and it can be a combo of special rolls and simple sashimi. So far it’s been tasty and satisfies my weekly sushi cravings!
Sidenotes: Parking is free! Service is nice and attentive! Bar-​style seating!

I have to say that this place has some good quality sushi!
I’m from out of town and was weary at first because of the unusual set up and menu options. But I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was, I ended up spending $ 30 worth of sushi and wanted more.
My cousin introduced me to this place because he said it was his favorite spot. I think it is mine favorite as well, at least when I’m in town.
Come visit, it’s worth it!

It’s the best place for sushi!!! U can go wrong here. Everything and here it’s delicious!!! My favorite is the dynamic, shrimp tempura, tune roll, deep fried tuna and the octopus sushi. The employees here are friendly and very nice to the customer!!!

The plates are very clean the shop itself is clean!
The salmon teriyaki was cooked just right!
Miso soup and rice is delivered first then the meal itself comes second! They gave me three pieces of sushi two salmon and one tuna! All very good pieces of delicate sushi rolls!
The people there are Korean owned.
