TGI Friday’s

Love TGI Fridays in general for food and deals on happy hour but I highly do not recommend this location for anyone. The service and quality of the overall restaurant is horrible. I never take anyone here because more than likely we will receive slow, useless, rude service. The waiters and waitresses are always too busy talking or trying to look good instead of doing their job. This high school vibe they got going needs to cease. Sorry but way too true.

Food was great, and our server Storm was awesome! Jack Daniels ribs were killer!!! Everything Jack Daniels is great! Thanks again Storm. If you go to this location, ask for Storm!

I came here for a beer because it was very hot outside, it was chill. Mm and I always get the mozzarella sticks. Sly was my bartender and he made sure everything was good and very friendly. The working environment looked fun. I’ve been here at night on the weekends and it gets really packed and poppin ’

I won’t be coming back here again. Although our server was friendly the food is GROSS and over priced. A $ 60 lunch and left half of it on my plate because it was so gross. My hubby had the chowder and he said his was gross. Been here a couple of times and had the same experience so we won’t be going back.

Ghetto sub par service, but a unprofessional staff. I used to love Fridays. But after my stupid waste of visit tonight, I will never eat at this chain ever again. Waited 10 minutes for the hostess to show up only to finally get back to her station and inform me of a 15 minute wait. Yet the restaurant is empty!
Tgi Fridays has lost my business for life.
Never again.

5 stars alone for this staff having to put up with the the clientele alone. As you can see from the reviews, these customers reach the bottom of the barrel. Very pleasant experience, and I was amazed at the overall positive attitude of everyone when they have to deal with such pettiness apparent in these reviews. All the best.

Worst service EVER! Will not be coming back here! Servicer took over 20 minutes to come around for drink orders and I had to track him down in order to pay my bill.

@ Friday’s again… Starting to feel like a regular. Storm recognized/​acknowledged us when we came in. Always brings our food hot, fast and yummy!!! Love this place, especially Sunday. All day Happy Hour!!!

We came here because we were going to see the Joe Walsh concert at the Forum. So we wanted to go somewhere nice to eat. We sat at the bar and Sly helped us. The food was good but. The service was very poor. We had to ask for everything over and over and over again. And my pretzels were burnt, and I asked for another order, and those are Burnt too. I truly felt like we were being treated this way because we are white. We clearly saw everybody else in the restaurant getting treated with 5 star service. But not us. We felt very uncomfortable and very unwanted there, not only by the entire staff, but by the patrons. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. I didn’t realize we were still in the 1950s. Very very disappointing. I expected to be treated the same as everyone else, regardless of color.

ok, tgif has a reward program called earn your stripes. free chips and salsa every visit and you earn points toward free food. i love free stuff so let the stripe earnings begin. you have to sign up online and tell you server that you are in the reward program so you can enjoy the benefits.
tgif is a kid friendly place. i love taking my kids and grandchildren here. the kid menu is cheap and very nice portions. they even have a half slab of ribs on the kid menu. my grandson’s personal favorite.
at this location, it’s hit and miss. they are sometimes under staffed. the waitress are always very sweet and attentive considering the load. always really kind to my children and generous with the napkins.
the kitchen is sometimes slow as molasses getting the food out. food always taste great.
this is definitely a place to take the family and not cry after seeing the bill…
Vivian is absolutely the best waitress ever. She is attentive and a heart of gold.

I just recently went on a date there. We decided to sit at the bar and waited almost 10 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge us. The bartender was a girl. I believe Latina. When she finally decided to acknowledge us she had an attitude and told us to hold on a bit longer. Finally the barback (black dude) asked us what we wanted and took our order. She continued to ignore us the entire time so we had to flag the barback down anytime we wanted to order something.
I never write reviews. this may actually be my first real review so, for me to go through the trouble of creating an account just for this, please understand how terrible our experience was. Do better with the choice in your bartending staff especially! They are supposed to be the source for the livelihood of your establishment.

On a scale of 1 – 5, I rate this hovel a –1. I was a patron of this location on and off for years. I stopped patronizing the place when the service became so bad, I was literally concerned that I was going to jail for Hulk smashing Friday’s (and possibly beating the crap out of a few of their bartenders). As a former «regular,» I advise any and everyone with self-​esteem, a net worth of at least $ 12 USD and an iota of taste to order takeout from WingStop on LaTijera, buy bottles from Ralphs in Ladera Center and eat and drink at home. At least you know you washed your hands, dishes and your service will be good.
The bar patrons are a bunch of losers. From bankrupt men who claim to have multiple streams of income, to a guy who was infecting women with herpes and stealing money from their bank accounts (I kid you not), to women who prostitute themselves at the bar for Hennessy and hot wings, to married men looking for a girlfriend — you’ll be subject to more drama than a year’s worth of soap operas in an hour at Friday’s bar.
The food is subpar. Most of the bartenders can’t make drinks. There’s one bartender who looks like he smokes too much weed and spends his spare time twisting his hair. He will charge you double for drinks as if you’re the one who is high. (I think his name is David.) There’s a female bartender who looks like Bernie Mac, eyeglasses and all. She has the audacity to have a bad attitude AND she only wants to help the male patrons. Perhaps, if I looked like I’d been stepped on, I would be pissed, too.
There are some old Jamaicans who sit in a corner of the bar. They order bottles of Barefoot like they can’t get the same wine for $ 5 from CVS across the parking lot. Then they try to skip out on their tabs after they’re good and drunk. It is so embarrassing.
The bar is not complete without the resident woman beater, Danny, babysitting a glass of red wine like a true b*tch; the token white guy who manages Buffalo Hot Wings at the Crenshaw Baldwin Mall (he is cool, though); and his bestie, who could double for Ray J. if Ray J. was slack. I cannot forget the resident loud mouth, Patrick, who will yell compliments to you across the bar such as, «Girl, you so fine! I’ll pay ALL your small bills.» I wish I was lying.
Friday’s fell off when the real estate market crashed. It used to be baller central. Now, it is staller central. There are men in their mid-​to-​late 40’s and older who’ve spent half of their lives drowning their sorrows in cheap drinks at this cheap bar. The women are no better. There are a lot of middle aged to brand old men and women who patronize the bar after «work.» They work for the same company as Tommy Strong from Martin, if you catch my drift.
Anyway, if you read my review and you still decide to visit Friday’s, you clearly have a death wish, an STD and are looking for someone you can have sex with and not infect, or you like wasting money. Either way, you will get what you deserve.

Service is terrible!!! s sat 2:23pm ⁰³⁄₂₆ Served by this guy who had the worst attitude and wanted to socialize more so then be a «waitress». Waited 30 mins before I got an appetizer !! Waste of my whole afternoon.

My experience did not go well here. My bartender was okay but the food was not up to par. I originally ordered the French dip meal. When I got it, there was barely any meat on it. Even the bartender had to laugh and said «maybe they ran out of meat. They always are running out of things back there.»
They literally tried to serve me a sandwich is a slice of meat .
The bartender let me order a new dish so I ordered the sesame jack chicken strips as a replacement. When they arrived they were burnt and there was barely anything on the plate. Again, it was laughable. But I was hungry so I ate around the burnt parts. I can say I will never be back here again. This food is awful.
I asked to speak with a manager and they never arrived.

Service sucks here because they are under staffed. They got bartenders cleaning tables, taking orders outside, making drinks, running back and forth to the kitchen. Smh the server we see him every 20 to 25 mins. He’s the only server in the bar area and he’s running like a chicken with his head cut off.
On top of being slow and forgetting shit. Smh this is ridiculous. This place sucks on service I hope my food is goid. Damn 1 drink in 1 hour that’s some bullshit and the place just starting to get a little crowded.
So they just brought my my snacks with no silver ware, what am I eating this shit with. Smh I’m so done with this spot. So I ordered my food at 3:20 pm it’s now 3:58pm. I’ve watch at least 8 people get food before me. Wtf man. What more can I say beside DON’T COME HERE. Been waiting on the manager for almost 15mins. Still no show. Fuck this spot

So we decided to come here with family from out of town because it was near by. And this review is just by us arriving. So I understand we came on a Sunday afternoon and we came with a party of 9. I completely understood we would have to wait. When we checked in they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. We ended up waiting for over an hour. Tho WHOLE time there were empty seats. There was a table big enough for our party to be seated but the employees were just talking and hanging around. After the hour I got a bit irritated and we finally got called in. As the host sat us down I expressed my concerns. The host mumbled something under his breath. I asked what he said he then said «All I said was ok» and sat us down. Unbelievable how an establishment can treat people thy way. I’m surprised we didn’t just leave. Hopefully the service turns out better.

Come here to watch football games or happy hour, and usually sit at the bar. The food is ok and they have a decent happy hour though the food is very greasy and carb heavy. Service quality varies, sometimes I have to wait for anybody to come around and sometimes they’re right there for you. Food doesn’t take too long to come out, but again that also depends on how alert your server is. The burgers here are good too, haven’t tried much off of their regular menu.

This rating is based on food and customer service. I noticed a lot of bad reviews, but we’re one of the lucky ones that had great customer service. We arrived around 8pm on a Saturday night. It was crowded and our estimated wait time was 25 minutes. While we wait, we looked at the menu to decide what we wanted.
After around 20 minutes, we were seated. We placed our orders right away. I got the steak and lobster with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. My gf got the ribs and lobster with broccoli and mac and cheese. The food was delicious and we liked it better than Outback.
Our waitress was excellent. One of the best customer service I had in awhile. She always made sure we’re okay and if we needed any water. She definitely made our night great.

This place only has 2 Unilocal stars for a reason. Frankly I’m surprised it has that. I’ve been to this location before so I was expecting bad service. But this flat out took the cake. I don’t even want to go into detail because I will just get mad. It wasn’t just us. I saw the hostess, bartender and 2 waitresses all get cussed out by other customers for their lack of… everything. From having to wait 20 min when there were empty tables everywhere, to waiting 20 min for a waiter, then another 20 min for our water, getting 2 of the 3 orders wrong, loud ghetto a$$ people swearing loudly in front tables with kids, etc. This place was a hot mess from start to finish. The sad thing is, the food was alright! I had the ribs & shrimp and both were pretty good.
I wonder of Magic Johnson knows a restaurant with his name on it is operating so poorly. You couldn’t pay me to eat here again.
