I love the People’s Mic! Fantastic night of local music and poetry. Great talent, good people, lots of fun. The crowd is great and supportive, and the focus is on the performances. I’ve seen some great performances for a small cover — in fact, it’s probably your best deal in the area for a great live show. I haven’t come across anything similar in LA. The place is always packed, but somehow there’s always a good seat.
The Witzend is a great little venue — laid-​back, good food and drinks — very well priced for the area and good quality
Definitely worth checking out!
