We stopped in a a ordered food at 6:15PM before a screening at the New Bev, expecting it to be a quick meal before the movie. We waited over forty minutes for our food(constantly being told«sorry, we are really busy» despite being the only customers inside). After the third«five more minutes» we almost left without our food. By 6:52 we finally had it, threw it in the car, and went into our movie without food. A 40+ minute wait for counter take away is absurd. UPDATE: In all fairness, once I was able to get to my food, it was pretty solid. Added a star.

Wok Master is my go-to Chinese restaurant for when I am hungover and too lazy to leave the house. Mostly because it’s right around the corner, and the their food is decent enough and it’s never made me sick. So next time you are hurting and questioning the decisions you made the previous night, do what I do: call Wok Master, order pork pot-stickers(fried not steamed) and Kun Pao chicken. Then crack a beer, turn off your cell and watch HBO. In the morning you will feel better, and you’ll have a bunch of leftovers that you can shift around in the fridge until they grow mold and your maid tosses them out. When the boxes have been cleared from your fringe, you’ll know it’s safe to go out drinking again.

Really disappointed. You could hardly expect anyone to be so cheap with their food. Price is cheap but you pay for rice. In my case anyway. I ordered the sesame chicken, and upon trying I discovered that it is 99.9 percent fried batter. There is sooo little chicken it amazes me. Terrible choice, unless you like eating strictly batter. Oh and the complementary rice of course.

Can’t go wrong. We’ve been eating here for years and the food has always been great. We always get special chow mein, 3 ingredient taste, and sesame chicken. Can’t go wrong with them. It’s a hole in the wall place with good food & counter seating w/a tableoutside. It’s clean & food has always been tasty. What more do you want?

Avoid at all cost. Ordered from them on a Friday night. They said 45 minutes. After an hour we called, they apologized and said they were busy and they’ll start working on it. We called twice more. Food arrived after over two hours and was mediocre and bland. Any decent restaurant that is an hour and a half late with a delivery wouldn’t charge for it, but this isn’t a decent restaurant. They charged the full amount. Never again.

Ordered food, delivery was supposed to be 45 minutes. Called after waiting an 75 minutes, was told that the food will be here shortly. At two hours– the food is still not here.

I ordered delivery for hot and sour soup and pad thai. the soup was actually really good(and yes i’ve had bad hot and sour soup before). the pad thai was meh… lacked depth in flavor but i guess i shouldn’t have such high expectations? not sure if this is the restaurant’s fault or the delivery eatstreet but my order took 85 minutes altho it said i would get it between 45−60min.

I was nervous ordering Chinese food because they say that in this area it is always horrible. I was HOPING to not have a bad experience, but I can’t lie. The food overall tasted horrible. I did get delivery and I understand that sometimes that can be the problem. It didn’t taste fresh or well well flavored. Even my kids, who love Chinese food, only ate it because we were all hungry and had paid for it! But even looking at the major leftovers today, I see tons of oil!!! I don’t like to post a bad review but when I order off of Unilocal,I feel the need to help all of my other Unilocalers out. My advice is that if you’re starving on a deserted island this might do, but if you’re looking for good Chinese food… keep looking and don’t go here. I know! I am a food snob! I won’t apologize for liking good food, especially when I pay for it!

The prices were decent, but the food was a little bland. Two items were left off my delivery order. I called and was told she would call back. She did and told me they would give me the two items when I order next time… I said o would prefer a refund on the items and she said she didn’t know how to do that but would give me the items next time. Well I don’t order out very often(in fact, I only did this time because I’m under the weather and didn’t feel like leaving my apartment — mistake…) but I sensed I wasn’t going to get my refund. She then proceeded to tell me that they were out of the items I ordered — it was 8pm!!! You can’t tell me you were actually out of rice at a Chinese place at 8pm. Anyway, she took my name and I’m certain I’ll never get my two items. The first reason is I don’t anticipate their records being that great. The second, I’m pretty sure I’ll take the loss and never order from here again. Two stars solely because I didn’t spend a fortune on the mediocre food.

I should have known not to get pad Thai at a Chinese restaurant, but decided to give it a shot anyway. It looked great but it definitely lacked in flavor. just chicken and the noodles carrots and onions but no green onions and defintely no flavor. not worth $ 10… Felt like there was no real heart behind it. Also there is nowhere really to eat inside there are two tables outside and a countertop inside for maybe four people.

As an NYC transplant to LA, my one unquenched food craving hasn’t been for NYC bagels or pizza… but for NYC/North East style Chinese take out. If you’re from that region you know what I mean. NOWHERE I’ve tried in LA has come even close. Not even the extremely over priced Ghengis Koen. Then I found Wok Master only a few minutes from my house and all my General Tso dreams came true! As close to NYC chinese take out as I’ve found yet!

Food is made to order, they use fresh ingredients, and you get to see them make it in front of you. I always get their pad see ew and it’s so flavorful. Very generous portions always.

I was on my way home from work, and wanted some Chinese Food. I hate Panda Express and most other locations in Hollywood so I decided to give Wok Master a shot. I got the Garlic Beef and Fried Rice. It came out to a little over $ 11. I wanted there for the food. It took about 5 min. Just enough time for me to do a quick browse at Game Stop next door. The food had tons and flavor at a great price. This is a great little gem in the Fairfax area. I will definitely be stopping in again.

Wok Master has always been my go to Chinese delivery place for years entirely because of the amazing, to die for potstickers. They were better than any place I’ve ever had them. I have so many friends that started ordering from this place last year because of the potstickers. I ordered them recently and noticed that they were completely different. The meat had hardly any taste at all and the outside was dry and spongy and a bit burnt on the bottom. When I called the guy said that it was a new recipe. I am SOSAD. I have never Unilocaled and I created an entire account for this review, which should show how insanely magnificent these things used to be. Why mess with greatness??? I hope I am not the only one that noticed this change, not for the better, and they will bring the old ones back. Please! I honestly didn’t even finish these:( I didn’t give this place a horrible rating because the delivery was prompt,(even though they forgot my chopsticks and soy sauce) and the Mongolian beef was good. I hope there aren’t any other items that aren’t as tasty now that Ill be blindsided with later… I can think of a few places in the area that are also good, but the potstickers were what had me ordering from here.

Love Wok Master, its so close to me and so fast! I popped in an ordered the Three ingredients, beef shrimp and chicken. I highly recommend it. I drive home and the dinner was incredibly hot. The dish had velvety sauce and the beef and chicken were super tender. They were very generous with the shrimp also! They portions were huge and I saved half my meal for lunch the next day. The prices are great, they all range around $ 10 for an entrée and rice for dinner The parking lot had tons of space available around 7PM which is not usually true for lots around the area. So easy to pop in and pop out

I order food for take out here pretty regularly and it’s pretty good Chinese food. I usually get the Kung pao chicken with fried egg rolls, I’ve had the sweet and sour chicken too, which was good… They give you large portions here. This is for mostly take out because there are no tables inside, they have like bar stool seats, I recommend take out from here. The orange chicken and potstickers are delicious!
