Simply Mac

This place needs competent help. The older staff is fine but the newer ones are not qualified. Everyone always seems a bit aloof here & I get the feeling are talking down. Today I went there to buy a new top end MacBook but after the staff was unable to answer my most basic questions & then went off to help someone else I left & made my purchase at the Apple Store down the street who did have competent & courteous help who ended up saving me 10% using apple pay something that no one here mentioned to me. I really prefer using a privately owned business & in spite of having done business here for many years will probably not be back.

I have had both of my MacBooks worked on at this store and the customer service is top notch! They added RAM quickly and at a reasonable price. I will definitely do all of my business here instead of the hassle of scheduling an appointment or waiting for eternity at the Apple Store.

Best service ever!!! I was ticked off by the Apple Store and the guys at macauthority replaced my iPhone battery in less than 20 mins. Heck I had to wait that long to talk to a genius at the apple store WITH an appt. macauthority is my new go to place!!!

Knowledgeable, Friendly and professional are how I describe their staff. They make all the difference, as the product is already awesome.
The key selling point is that they are ACCESSIBLE! You don’t need an appointment, like you do at that store in the mall. This makes a big difference. I highly recommend Simply Mac for all your Mac needs!!!

Great job guys! I was able to get all the answers I need. They made sure my MacBook Air (refurb) was all ready to go and that I had everything setup before I left. No line which is always a plus. Keep up the good work.

I went into Simply Mac (formerly Mac authority) today because my laptop was running sooo slow. The solution was simple: I needed a ram upgrade. Sounds complicated, but nah. I was out of there in less than 30 minutes and my laptop is working like it’s brand new.
The crew there seemed very knowledgable and willing to answer any questions. I will definitely skip the Apple store and go there in the future.

A huge shout out to Ben in service and the team at Mac Authority. They turned what started as I really rough day with my MacBook Pro breaking into a great situation with their diagnosis. They were prompt, thorough and really helpful. It’s great that there is an Apple store in town but how awesome that there is a locally owned certified dealer and service shop right down the street with far less insanity (the apple store is like a crowded NYC bar) and all the expertise and training. I will absolutely be going back and suggest you do too!

These guys are always super friendly to me, and especially my wife, when we go in. Now that I think of it, they’re much friendlier to her…
It’s actually a pretty good alternative to the (ugh) Apple Store, and I’ve never waited in line here. I believe they also do work covered under AppleCare, but I’m not 100% sure how that works. Either way, I’ve had them do some repairs and it’s been reasonably priced. Plus, they do it while you wait with no appointment needed.

Jeff (the store manager) was a complete jerk to my friend and very unprofessional. I will never shop here and it’s a shame because I spend a lot of money on apple products.

The MacAuthority people saved my computer. They are completely licensed, and very knowledgeable. I recommend them any day of the week. Their prices are also much more reasonable than at the mall store.

My girlfriend had the top case on her Macbook splinter. I didn’t want to deal with the Apple store’s appointment system (not to mention the genius bar is always crowded with iPod and iPhone issues!), so we decided to try MacAuthority.
We came in on a Saturday afternoon, and were helped right away by Sarah. The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie was playing when we walked in on the flat screen, so major points for that!
We got a phone call from the service tech on Monday telling us that the part had been ordered, and they called again on Tuesday to tell us it was ready to be picked up. We drove over and picked it up, and were out the door, Macbook in hand, in less than 5 minutes.
They’ve got a full line of all Apple products, and a smaller selection of older Apple products (even an iBook G4!). These folks really know their stuff, and are fast, and friendly. Best of all, you don’t have to deal with mall traffic, and parking is readily available right in front of the store. You can’t get any better than that!
