My first time trying out the lunch menu. I ordered the BLT sandwich and chips and a drink to go for $ 10.44. I’m disappointed in the sandwich, it hardly had any bacon or tomato. The bread is slightly stale and not many chips in the chip bag as well. The service was terrific, I was greeted as I was approaching the counter. My questions were answered clearly and with a smile. I will come back to try a bagel and cream cheese because of the terrific customer service I received.

I came here with a coupon, and I probably wouldn’t return without one. Don’t get me wrong, the service and food is lovely, but the prices are a bit high. The manager had no problem honoring my coupon, even though I «customized» one of my sandwiches. I offered to pay the difference and he told me not to worry about it. Both the woman preparing my bagel sandwiches and the manager were very kind.

Wow, excellent free Bagel appreciation day! Not really, Manager would not let anyone pay to get Cream Cheese put on them. And we frequent this place regularly. Must be a regional promotion that they didn’t want to participate in. Guess we will take our business elsewhere in the future.

I have been here probably 15 to 20 times; unfortunately I don’t think I can go back because they are so understaffed that it is actually sort of depressing… The people that are present there are working hard and they seem fairly miserable about it, although they are trying to be nice, but you can tell they’re stressed because the line is always so long and everything is so slow. When the people working in a place are so stressed or unhappy it makes me wonder about the management and makes me not want to support a place that cannot treat its workers better. As far as the food goes its fine– I mean, its bagels, nothing to write home about but good enough to get you through your morning. Parking is fairly difficult, and there is a Panera just about 3 blocks away — so I would cut your losses and just go to Panera where people seem happy and the food comes out fast. Also, I know it seems kind of nitpicky to say, but you have to remember your order and recount it back to the person ringing you up, and really it should not be that big a deal, unless it’s early and you’re tired and you haven’t had enough coffee, but it just seems rather inefficient for a restaurant to run like that.

I have been several times, including this morning. The staff is happy and super nice. It was busy, but not much of a wait for anything. I coffee is good, and I always get the everything bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese. The eggs are freshly made– the competition, including Panera 3 doors down use pre made ‘egg’ patties. I also had a muffin, and it was amazing! I owner was there and involved in operations. I have nothing bad to say.

The perfect place for a casual breakfast or brunch! Brueggers had all your typical bagel varieties that you’d expect, and a good amount of cream cheeses & toppings. They have a menu of bagel sandwiches, however you are also able to customize your order. Definitely recommend the coffee as well!

The people are very nice and helpful, but you really don’t get the bang for your buck here. There’s just not a lot of food for the price that you pay and the food really isn’t that good to be paying as much.

First visit. Love it. Good vibes from the people down to the décor. Falon built my bagel, fully loaded with lox, chive shmear, yadda yadda, and it was perfect. Good snap to it. Reminds me of home. They also have salads and deli style sammies. I’ll try the pastrami next time. Free wifi Lot parking Lots of seating with booths. Catering available. I’ll be back. Go here.

I went on a lady date here the other day because we were wanting some carbs :) I had just come from a yoga class so I was starving but wanted something a little lighter. Let me tell you, their Zesty Egg White bagel hit the spot! It had a turkey sausage patty, egg whites, and swiss cheese plus your choice of cream cheese! I got the bacon scallion because everything’s better with bacon. And I got a whole wheat bun, skinny style. What’s that you ask, skinny style? Yeah, it’s a thing. They cut out the middle part of the bagel so you’re left with the top and bottom, you feel like you’re being bad having those yummy carbs, but it’s not as many as you would normally have! Best of both worlds going on right there. I will for sure be going back to try out their lunch items!

I’ve been looking for a bagel sandwich place in Louisville for a couple months now and FINALLY found it! I’ve tried other places but they don’t even compare. This place is awesome! Bagels are fresh and the sandwich options are delicious! I always ask for extra sauce and their rice crispy treats are amazing too. Staff has always been super friendly and I’ve never had to wait in line because I’ve only gone at off hours. The Western on cinnamon sugar bagel is my favorite! Love this place and I’ll be a customer for life! Don’t forget to get your bagel stamp card, after your 10th sandwich the 11th is free! :)

Typically very good service.. Can work on the communication A little… They need to guide their customers through the process smoother. more of a training issue IMO.. Other than that I like it.

I came in on a whim this morning, craving breakfast food. I wasn’t disappointed. There was no line and the guy behind the counter for me a paper menu right away(I forgot my glasses and couldn’t read the board). I ordered a simple egg and cheese on an Asiago Parmesan bagel, and it was awesome. I’m usually more of an everything bagel kind of person, but I think I have a new favorite. The cashier was super friendly and seemed happy to be here. My food came out fast and I ate it almost as fast. My only complaint is that I didn’t order two, because it was so good.

I recently moved back to Louisville from Cincinnati, where I first had Bruegger’s and was ecstatic to find out there was one in Louisville. Let me say, it did not disappoint. As soon as you walk in your mood will automatically improve as the smell of fresh bagels encompasses you. They always have fresh bagels with what seems like an endless variety of flavors. I would like to personally recommend the everything bagel. Bruegger’s is the breakfast bagel version of Subway. Starting at the beginning you choose your bagel then whatever topping you could imagine. I would like to highly recommend the Western(Comes with It comes with egg and bacon) on an everything bagel with the veggies of your choice. I love coming here for breakfast, might not be the most healthy but it is oh so good.

I’m a transplant from NYC and I like Bruegger’s Bagels better than any bagel I ever ate back in NYC, The Bagel Capital! I have always received the best customer service here and have always been served the perfect bagel. I love their Bagel Wednesday Deal and that you can phone in your order in advance.

I embarrassed to admit, but I don’t quite understand the bagel thing. Like, I like bagels as a vehicle to get cream cheese in my mouth, but overall I don’t understand bagel sandwiches.(and what EXACTLY is an everything bagel?) A couple gal friends I have meet for what we like to call«fleur de fork» or «breakfast club» once a month — we meet for breakfast out on a Thursday morning. I look forward to the outings but this Thursday we had to meet at a spot close to Lexington Rd because one of the gals works in a boutique over there. Don’t worry, I’m recruiting them to become Unilocalers, too. So here I am at Bruegger’s. I’m standing at the counter with a line forming behind me — I panicked and order a breakfast bagel, skinny, wheat, with turkey sausage, egg white, and cheddar. I get to the pay counter and realize… what if I don’t like it? I had investigated the online menu before I got there and didn’t see what I thought I wanted. I ordered a iced coffee cooler(mocha). Breakfast bagel turned out AOK by me. It was fine. It came in a basket which made it look smaller and like I should have ordered a side. What kind of side would you even get? I’m confused. I secretly was thinking the whole time how I could have got 4 sausage biscuits and an ice coffee from McDonalds and liked it a little better for the same $ 8 I spent here. My iced coffee cooler had excess syrup that made it very rich(maybe I should have suggested easy on their syrup or made sure they use nonfat? again, I was panicked). Environment was great though! I love warm, clean places. There were about 4 or 5 individuals working on their laptops(or maybe Unilocaling/facebooking, who really knows?) and one what-looked-like-a-business-meet up. Next time, I’ll stick to the cream cheese route or gladly let bagel fanatics order in front of me while I take my time. If bagels sandwiches are your thing and you’re in St. Matts, go for it.

Good place to go for breakfast on weekends — fast, friendly service and wide selection of freshly baked bagels. One of the few places open on a Sunday morning in St Matthews and the nearby Crescent Hill area. Here are some of the items I’ve sampled: Better Bacon Cheddar Bagel — 4 out of 5 Single Whole Wheat Bagel with Egg — 3.5 out of 5 Jalapeño Bagel — 4 out of 5 Croissant — 4.5 out of 5 I know I’ve been to Bruegger’s a few other times before but I can’t for the life of me recall what I ordered those times. However, I’ve enjoyed every breakfast stop I’ve made here. NOTE: Saturday mornings are awfully crowded, with the line all the way to the entrance.

Nothing smells more inviting on a cold Saturday morning than the wafting of a toasted bagel. Bruegger’s in St Matthews just opened recently, so several friends and I decided to meet there for a Saturday morning brunch. The location was bustling with customers and new employees. At one worker’s recommendation, I had the Asiago and Parmesean bagel with a generous filling of cream cheese. Friendly customers, toasty environment, and delicious coffee and bagels make this a welcome addition to the inviting St Matthews breakfast scene!
