My friends wanted to try SaVinos I called during the week to make a reservation For 6:30PM as the girl shows me to the table she tells me she needs the table for 8 pm I spoke to the manager who should not be in customer service She really didn’t say anything encouraging We stayed until 8:30 They were out of several things we asked for Good food but making a reservation is tiring One night I called for a reservation and they would not accept for less than 4 people It’s s dressed up pizza place Very disappointing

Service was a bit slow, especially when waitress vanish for ten minuets when we asked for check. They left the door open(in winter) and I froze due to the fans circulating air. Overall enjoyed food, and had some to take home. Cost wasn’t bad for two adults and a child.

Better than average takeout, went for dine in tonight and really disappointed. Uninspired wait staff and freezing inside the restaurant. Hostess never said hello, goodbye or thanks.

My go to for pizza delivery, garlic knots are amazing as well. The delivery times are always on point as well. Have had a couple different pasta dishes which were also excellent.

SaVino’s…former location of good old Elegante(which was booted from the HS corner to across the street.) Have checked in three times, so I am obviously, a fan. Service is great in the dining area. There is a bar(actually a decent sized one) BUT no liquor is served. Strictly beer and wine. No skin off my knee personally, but could get in the way of my top shelf friends… I chose this place for my birthday dinner after I tasted the Italian fare over the summer. I have a big family and we like to eat… rest…then eat more! We ordered the fried calamari(fritti)and baked clams. It was delicious. After all the app-delving, I needed a classic din din. I ordered the chicken parm hero on my bday. It was amazing! My fam was more adventurous and hungry than I was. Let’s just say everyone had a full belly and leftovers… Absolutely love this local restaurant.

My friends and I use to go at least 5 to 7 times a month but unfortunately it’s no longer the case… For its not what it use to be, and service… Well even though the staff is polite there not on point and serve things you didn’t ask for… Just sad because we miss the place we loved going.

Good and prompt service, friendly and courteous. I was coming from East Rockaway and had probably seen Savinos before, but hunger and working overnight the night before isn’t a good combination. Pizza is one of my guilty pleasures and I rarely pass the chance on a quality regular slice and a grandma Sicilian, and what you have here is very good of each, they obviously use quality ingredients and the sauce is AMAZING! Everything looks fresh and clean also. I would definitely be coming around Savinos again.

Best pizza in Lynbrook! We order from here all the time and they have other great dinner menu options. Love their eggplant Parmesan, as well. Good service… would recommend pick up or dining in — rather than delivery(they are very busy).

One does not usually expect any one pizzaria’s pizza to stand out in a area like this where the are genuine, made from scratch pizzas available every few blocks. But i was very pleasantly surprised by SaVinos when I stopped there due to great hunger when lunch was late one day. The crust was perfectly hot, crisp and fresh, the sauce and cheese just right, sausage cooked properly. Small things adding up to something very pleasing

Best Grandma pie west of Dimaggio’s in Hicksville. Very nicely done. Place has a bar area too, which is nice.

I was looking around the local«menu book», very hungry, wanting a few things to eat. Stumbled upon SaVino’s, since I knew I couldn’t go wrong with my husband eating pizza. We were greeted and brought to a wonderful back/bar section with high tables/chairs. Instead of an entrée, I ordered baked clams, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, salad. Husband ordered meatballs & spaghetti. My only complaint was that my table was too small! After combining dishes, I was good to go. Absolutely delicious. The breading for the clams coupled with a delicious buttery sauce & lemons… yummm. Mozz sticks/wings very good too. My husband said he had about 8 meatballs!!! So, I brought home the few wings/sticks and opening the bag today, they supplied 2 mini containers of sauce/dressing! How thoughtful. Everyone was attentive, from Tony(bartender), Andrew(waiter), and our busboy. I’m thinking the back(side) party room looks like a great idea. Will definitely return.

Delicious cuisine, light Italian fare or crispy flavorful pizza; you can’t go wrong with any of those choices. Savino’s is spacious airy and comfortable but you still find yourself surrounded by the tempting wafting aroma of the delicious dishes anywhere you are in the place. In particular I recommend the calamari frutti, which was as tender as any I’ve ever tried. Mangia!

Food is great, but not consistent. Every time we order, they forget something. Last time it was the pasta, time before that the app and this time the salad. They said it was on its way a half hour ago. I am about to just ask them to deliver tomorrow for lunch since we are finished with our dinner.

The food here is delicious. A bit pricey but worth every cent. My favorite dish is the rigatoni fungi. The sauce is amazing. The hot antipasto is also really good. But the best part is their complimentary bread. It is to die for. Delivery takes quite a while but definitely worth the wait.

Though a three star rating is right for our delivery experience, I suspect dining in would be noticeably better. We had a pizza with half pepperoni and half eggplant. The eggplant didn’t seem to have a lot of flavor, but the pepperoni was quite good. On balance, the pizza was solid. More interesting was the calamari arrabbiata. The sauce was very good and the calamri had good flavor. Maybe the best part of the dish was the super tasty peppers cooked in it. We found that some of the breading had become a bit soggy and separated from the calamari — but I’m hopeful that this wouldn’t have been the case had we eaten in instead of gotten delivery.

This is our go-to pizza/Italian restaurant. The staff is friendly & helpful. The food is delicious and most of all consistent. Love the pizza, rolls & pasta. We love the grandma pie! You can’t go wrong taking out or dining in. Clean & kid friendly restaurant.

This place was surprisingly good — and is a whole lot bigger inside than you think. One side is a pizzeria that is geared more toward take-out orders or a quick slice before heading to the train. The other side is a full blown restaurant, with waiter service, tables, and a full bar nestled in the far back corner. I never would have known the bar even existed, because it’s tucked away so well. It ended up being pasta night, so it was a great deal for me. For $ 11.95, I got a small caesar salad and HUGE portion of penne a la vodka. The bread basket was generous as well. The only less than stellar part was that the wine I ordered was $ 9 a glass. Seemed a little steep, especially since I didn’t see any other cheaper options, except for a glass that cost $ 8. The place is considered a wine bar as well, so I’d love to see better wine specials!

Out with the old and in with the new! Savino’s recently replaced the tried and true Elegante pizza on Atlantic Ave. New owners, new food and a needed new face-lift have accompanied this Italian style transformation. Additionally, they have a cozy looking wine bar tucked in the corner of the restaurant. The renovated interior and equipment look absolutely immaculate. In fact, the counters are so sparkling clean that even grandma would probably lick a few breadcrumbs off of it. Their service and staff needs a little help. They’re brand spanking new and understandably working out the kinks so hopefully the guys who run the show get with the program. They were all helpful but seemed exceedingly flustered trying to figure out who ordered what, where this is, what so-and-so is doing, YOMIKEEEE!!, fixing our order, etc. What should have been a quick pickup turned into quite an ordeal. Again, the staff was very helpful, fixed the order and apologized. The most important factor here, the food, was pretty solid. Holy Mozzarella! Sureeeee, everyone says they use«fresh» mozzarella BUT the definition of «fresh» runs the gamete of a bad-mouthing 3 day old slice to mouth-gasimly good slice made that day that melts without heat. Savino’s mozz was pretty close to the latter. Made in house and pretty awesome-sauce all the way, it was generously found in my eggplant paninni. It seems like they also use the pizza dough to make the bread for the paninni as well. That’s dedication my friends, delicious dedication. The minestrone soup was probably the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of touching my lips to. I admit I’ve only had it from a can but I wont go back to the aluminum again after tasting it. I Promise. Their salad slices look pretty over the top and they have a «Drunken Grandma» pizza on the menu. Must try — both of them. Savino’s is off to a good start… and I expect it to get even better!
