Mondo’s Sports Bar

This place and the entire strip mall in which it is (or was) located is closed and about to be either torn down or undergo a serious renovation. Not sure why the owners would not update Unilocal so as to help avoid wasted trips.

This review is WAY overdue.
I celebrated my 26^th here and I’m SO GLAD I decided to do it at this sports bar. All I wanted was a place where my party and I can chill, drink and eat. I’ve been way over the club scene and I just wanted to be with good company.
The atmosphere was sooo chill. I really wish I remembered the name of the bartender that was working that day and night. (If a manager reads this and is able to back track schedules it was for Sunday, June 28^th). When we arrived, the bartender made sure we were well taken care of. He also let us know that he was pretty much the only one there running things and that if we needed him or if he didn’t get to us in a timely manner to just simply go up to the bar and order whatever it was we needed. I appreciated the honesty from the start.
I would also like to acknowledge that there was a gentleman who I think said was either the manager or supervisor (I’ve already had a handful of birthday drinks at this point) was SUPER welcoming and asked how my night was going. When he heard it was my birthday, he told the bartender a round of drinks on the house for my whole party. THANK YOU!!!
I just want to say I enjoyed the hell out of my 26^th thanks to Mondo’s. Awesome staff, great food and overall a fun place to be. The giant Jenga, beer pong and the pool tables was a hit for everyone! I can only imagine how it goes down on game days… #gohawks!

This spot is right next door to me. I am a bit biased because i got to talking with the bartender one night and turns out he knows people from my hometown and we know some of the same people. The guys name is Rebel and if he’s serving you he will treat you right.
As far as the place, it is a dive bar with various games — 2 pool tables, 3 arcade games, a foosball table, that game where you punch a boxing bag for points, and 3 dart boards. Oh, and how can i forget the beer pong?
The environment is very spacious and has live music and karaōke weekly. The food portions are way way more than enough and fairly priced. Drinks are poured generously. I always order the same drink so i can’t speak of the variety or quality of drinks.
In terms of dive bars with fun and good food, you cant lose with this one. And for sports, you cant lose either. 15 televisions are spread out throughout the bar with a protector for big time events.
Visit and enjoy if you haven’t already!

I really feel like some of the previous reviews are pretty unfair…
I’ve been here a handful of times with my sisters and mom to watch UFC and Seahawks games. This place has a ton of TVS and lots of seating. We’ve always received great service from the staff, even when the place is packed. Drinks are strong, food is decent and prices are reasonable. Yes, there’s the occasional super drunk or kinda creepy guy. What bar doesn’t?
This is a dive bar in Lynnwood… so adjust your expectations accordingly.
Otherwise, I don’t know what else you could want in a local bar to catch a game or fight at.

Was in there with 8 co-​workers, and after half a drink, found out that it’s not a friendly bar. from what I observed if you’re not a regular you’re not welcome. that was no problem though because next door at Paradise bar they didn’t seem to mind our money. had a great time there. Also the staff at Mondo’s seem to be annoyed and troubled to there job. Terrible customer service and atmosphere. Will never return. Good Luck

Readjusting my previous rating.

The bar itself is pretty cool. Pool, darts, space to move around, good layout, burgers are decent BUT the bartender I had was a big douche with no appreciation for the customer. I don’t demand a lot from people just basic courtesy which he did not even extend to me. If you are the owner reading this watch out putting douchey tough guy wannabe meat heads at the front of your business.

I went in there last night for Thirsty Thursday and asked the bartender about the specifics of the special. He gave a smart ass look and then referred to the sign stating that he had no idea. I walked out after that.

Mundos is a black great place to get rowdy, don’t drive cops are everywhere but taxis are all over. And if you know you can take a cab and it’s time to unwind they have great drinks and are not afraid to pour. Fun people.

My friend told me that this bar plays all of the NHL hockey games, which seems rare around these parts.
And THEY DO play all of the hockey games, which makes me very happy. For any Sharks fans looking to catch a game in Lynnwood, this place is one option (please let me know if you know of others).
Anyway, some of the bar patrons are creepy. I totally get that people start drinking in the afternoons like happy hour and what-​not, but I don’t want to dodge rowdy, bellligerent, drunk people play-​fighting in the entryway at 5:00PM. Seriously dude, slow down.
This isn’t a bar that a girl can hang out at alone — even during the day, but with a guy friend or a group it’s fine. The drink specials are tasty and cheap, and the bartender Rebel (that’s his name, like his real name) is pretty cool.

This place seems just fine. Good karaōke, plenty of dartboards, a pool table, and plenty of spots to sit. I didn’t have a drink here, but my boyfriend was poured very strong drinks by the bartender, which was a bonus.
We went on a Thursday night and it was pretty empty when we arrived, but ended up being maybe half full by around 11:30. The nice thing about the karaōke is that the host tended to get people through pretty quick, so everyone got to single plenty of songs, yet he still mixed it up fairly.
I’d come back here again for a drink.

OK, this is the creepiest dive I have every been to.
My hubby had been a few times in his college days, since it was just a walk from the school. It wasn’t bad when his buddies and him would come during the day.
The only reason we ended up here was because both 13^th St Pub and Daverthumps were completely packed, and we wanted to play pool on a Saturday night.
I should have known the moment we walked in there and it wasn’t packed that something was wrong.
First, they have very little in their bar. I tried to order quite a few things before I settled on a Bailey’s on ice. They couldn’t make a margarita, they couldn’t make a mojito, and about all they had was whiskey and vodka. Ok…
There was a guy sitting at the bar that looked like he was drunker than a skunk and about to pull out a gun and shoot everyone. Scary…
After we had been there for about 30 min and we had gotten most of the way through a game of pool, a guy came in to the bar and asked us loud and proud «Do you guys want any mushrooms?» My friend went «uh… no thanks?» And the guy replies «Yep, just share ‘em when you got ‘em!»
I think that says enough.

I went with a friend and her boyfriend to Mondos for some reason I cant remember! But it was so not my jam at all… no way. I mean I enjoy dive bars, they are so fun but I was in there for 2 minutes and this guy who was still in his construction clothes from work tried to pick me up. He was ginormous and I am not, it was a bit terrifying. I was not a fan of the crowd and it was so loud and I just felt real awkward for even having makeup on and my hair done. A ponytail would have been much more appropriate. The bartender was very sweet, funny and cute and bought me a drink but i will probably never return to this place… However the large group of large women who had memorized a dance was the icing on the cake. It made it almost worth going back… Almost.

now i’m moved to SF, CA my bf and i really miss this place for watching UFC here in bay area its 20 – 30 bucks a pop to watch ufc at any bar so guys appreciate this place while you can! and mac and jack /​manny’s

Friendly bartenders make this dive tolerable. Drinks were really strong, and made well. I didn’t really dig the vibe as the night wore on, I much preferred the environment before they tried to make themselves into a nightclub.
A little bit of identity confusion here. Mondo’s are you a sports bar (you could be a very good one) or a nightclub (you have no shot to be a good one.) Stick to bringing in sports fans to watch the big game…

This place has everything, darts, video games, pool tables, fooseball table, great drinks, internet jukebox and really cool bartenders, Collen you are the coolest!!!
What a great time we had here, everyone got wasted, everyone was friendly, Collen the bartender who grew up in Hawaii, can dance, she’s that good!!!
Will definitely be back on next trip to Seattle, love this place!!!

Went here with my friend Dez on a tuesday night at around 6:30pm This place wasn’t too busy which was perfect for me because I just wanted to hang out and have a couple beers and play some pool. When you walk in there are two pool tables with a bar to your left and darts to your right. In the back there is a dance floor. Tuesday nights are Bar Bingo nights so there were about 15 people there playing. Not sure what the prizes were but someone in the bar said t-​shirts and candy. Plenty of TVs around you to watch the games especially in the back above the dance floor. Music mostly played on the jukebox was rock songs. I had a tall bud light which was 6.50. All in all a good place to go to hang out after work and play some pool with your friends on a weeknight.

This place has darts. 2 stars for that.
This is one of those places that plays the music so loud that you have to scream at the top of your lungs to have any sort of convo with the group you are with. Not for me. Not to mention the DJ was playing some 80’s songs sprinkled with some soulja boy type songs.
They had really worn out TV’s, this is not the place to go to watch the game.
The bar staff was very nice and courteous.
