I love Lyons ReRuns! Why? 1) They gladly take my ‘re-usable stuff’ and keep it out of the landfill. 2) They sell their goods at very reasonable, and down right cheap prices. I’ve purchased shirts that have never been worn for next to nothing. 3) The selection is small, but that means it turns over, and gives me an excuse to drop by on a more regular basis. 4) They host the annual fashion show. A great community event. 5) They push their profits back into the community. 5a) 5 deserves clarification — ReRuns donates profits to Lyons Community Foundation before they pay themselves. 5b) Reruns helps other local organizations out in their missions to help people and the community. 5c) Reruns reaches out to people directly to help them — when they learn of a need or situation. 6) The two that run ReRuns are great. They’ll take the time to chat and socialize, along with doing a great service for the people of Lyons. Thanks ReRuns!

I’m quite familiar with this little shop … more so than the reviewer complaining about the«squinty woman» who helps run the place. I’d like to comment on that. The«squinty woman» is responsible for finding the good quality of items sold at Lyons Reruns(those of unacceptable quality go to Goodwill or other organizations.) She’s responsible for running this business at a sufficiently profitable level to pay rent, utilities, etc., with anything above that going to the Lyons Community Foundation, benefitting the Lyons area. She and her family are very well-respected in the community, and that’s one reason people are willing to turn over good stuff to her. The«squinty woman» and her family have done many things for a long time for the Lyons community. When one local man lost all he had in a house fire earlier this year, the«squinty woman» opened up the shop and let him restock his wardrobe … free of charge. She has done similar charitable acts for many years around Lyons. It’s a shame one visitor who doesn’t really know her would post catty comments on Unilocal because she declined to meet his price demands for resale items. This is a fun store to visit and it carries a variety of clothing and other items, reasonably priced. I’ve picked up many useful things there. Don’t be deterred by one grouch’s Unilocal review. It’s worth a visit, including a chat with the«squinty woman,» who’s actually quite funny and interesting to talk to unless you’re a grouch.

This is a clean little store with the occaisional good find. They are a little hoity toity about their donated stuff because they give their ‘profits’ to some local foundation in the Lyons Community. I would give the place four stars, but the little, squinty woman who runs it has some kind of attitude. She doesn’t like to offer any kind of bargain. Very often, I get much better deals at Savers in Boulder. For me, that little squinty woman’s attitude ruins the store’s atmosphere. When I go through town and stop by, if I see the tiny woman there, I don’t go in. The taller person is the one to shop with!
