Lame. Lame. Lame. Terrible service, and. extremely expensive. Never going back and we just moved to Lyons.

Service is the problem. We waited at least 40 minutes for two pizzas and even then the House Special arrived and it was another 15 minutes at least for the other pizza which was half Beet and Goat Cheese and the other half Gonzo(has cream cheese and jalapeños on). The other 3 people at the table said there was not enough jalapeños on the Gonzo and way too much cream cheese. The House Special was the best pizza. The beet and goat cheese was lacking in the pesto apparently which was supposed to also be on it. I had a beer and someone else had a coke and the waitress volunteered on her own to comp those but we were in a hurry and thought pizza would be faster. After all I would imagine you would have the pizza dough ready to roll out which doesn’t take much time and to add the items on a pizza should not take so long either unless they weren’t prepped. We did get there at least two hours after they opened on a Sunday for lunch. Just figured they would be better prepared. We also had to signal the waitress for the check and one of us had to go up to the bar to get a coke refill. Service is not so great. We’ll think twice about going back here I would think. Oh and it isn’t that cheap. $ 22 per pizza is quite a bit.

I’ve always enjoyed their food and drinks a bunch, it’s their service that’s an issue. The employees can be kind of aloof and I know both myself and my coworkers have missed entire lunch breaks just waiting for our food(like, just a salad…) to come out to us. Great place to go as long as you have no where else to be for a while.

Pretty good, not great. But it’s fun and the area is very limited as to places to eat. The pizza fire cooked and can come out a little over done. It’s full of locals and if your a die hard pizza beer on a snowy day this is the place

They got our order wrong. Had a hair in our salad and didn’t discount our bill at all. We wait for 90 minutes before ally eating. The waitresses were very nice to my kids — and I very much appreciated that. The food tasted good once we got it butt he experience was over all disapoonting. That’s about all good I can say. Won’t be back.

Pizza is mediocre, expensive and takes forever to come out of the kitchen. Highly reccomend anthonys in estes park or backcountry pizza in boulder if you want good pizza. Bartenders are rude to everyone except their friends that are there drinking. As a lyons resident i am disappointed in how bad this place is but i will not be back. I would much rather go to Oskar blues or daves bbq if i just want a good beer and some decent food.

I am not one to complain about price, unless it’s warranted, which it really is here. Recently a girl friend and I went for a quick dinner. We sat on the outside patio and ordered a gluten free pie to share. We asked a bunch of questions, and our server never mentioned to us that it’s $ 4 more for gluten free crust– really? come on. this is colorado. I am used to places up charging for GF at this point, but 4 bux on your already tiny pie is excessive. We asked about a side of ranch and she said she’d bring us both one, then charged us for that too. We would have tipped you more if you had hooked us up like a normal restaurant. The pie was good enough, but tiny and we felt ripped off. We left, not ever wanting to return. Whatever with the service, waitress really didn’t care at all. Pass this place by.

We were driving from Estes Park to Denver and needed to grab lunch. This is a totally kid friendly place in the very cute town of Lyons. Service was amazing and all of the TVs allowed me and the hubby to talk a bit while the kids chowed on their pizza. And… they have great beer!

Fun place to grab a bite to eat in Lyons. They also have games in the back. My wife and I played shuffle board and others were playing pool and I think that they had a few video games. Fun fact: the is a psychologist’s office upstairs from the pizza bar. I guess if you have a rough therapy session you can grab a pint and a slice afterward. All in all cool place and a cool vibe and good food.

I would give this place 5 stars if you’re a local, & less, if you’re not. It’s family friendly during the daytime, and a fun place to hang out with friends, at night. If you’re alone, you can order pizza by the slice, while picking your toppings, & the salads are large with quality ingredients. It’s also a fun place to watch the game during football season. There is parking in the rear of the building, if you find the front spots taken. Overall the staff is friendly. There was one bartender who was blatantly rude to my aunt who was just trying to ask him a question about England, so that makes me hesitant to bring my out-of-town family there again.(I have only been back twice since then, so perhaps he has been replaced?) I really like this pizza place, but that one particular occasion left a bad taste in my mouth, because he kinda hurt her feelings.

I’ve been in this place multiple times over the years and it’s always just been kind of so so. It’s definitely a locals hangout and the regulars will get better service. As far as their beer selection goes if you like really hoppy beer then you are in the right place. If you like your IBU’s below 30 then go somewhere else. Now for the reason I am actually writing this review, the pizza. Every so often I will come into this place after work and have a couple slices of pizza. The slices are huge but not great tasting but not terrible tasting either. Last night I ordered a small pizza to go and order a brown beer as I waited which was really hoppy for a brown beer. After 35 – 40 min. I finally got my pizza, I paid and went home. When I got home I put it in the oven to warm it up, after a few minutes I got my first piece and it was soggy and tasted poor. I have had enough of this place, I am not going back. If I want pizza I’ll just go across the street to Oskar Blues.

Love, love, love this place. I was visiting from California and went to Pizza Bar 66 several times during my stay. LOVE Kevin, the bartender! He is so funny, friendly, and quick to serve. He is a BIG asset to Pizza Bar 66. Ordered gluten-free pizza with basil pesto, arugula, beets, and goat cheese, and it is TODIEFOR! I would highly recommend this rollicking, fun place to eat and drink.

A solid entry across the board. A small-ish but well-selected tap list and both of the pizzas we had(house special, beet) were very tasty. Can’t ask for much more in a pizza and beer joint.

Service is TERRIBLE. Food couldn’t get any SLOWER. If you are a regular who knows the servers, you will get great service. Anyone else might as well go somewhere else! The manager, who is a short woman ALWAYS hanging out at the bar, could not care LESS how things are run. She is unbelievably lazy!!! Only go here if you have 45 min to an hour to wait for your food. And beware, it might be burnt when it finally gets to you.

After hiking my group was hungry and a bit thirsty. We spent some time outside waiting for service, we went inside to wait at the bar to order. More waiting, then service! It took over 30 minutes for food on a Sunday afternoon way after lunch. The wait staff didn’t seem to care either, especially when we finally got our pizza and it wasn’t hot, just warm. I wouldn’t expect this when there was hardly anyone in the place. I wouldn’t go back.

We’ve been here a few times since moving to town and have been more impressed with each trip. Tonight we went with The Dixie Queen which is a BBQ braised chicken pizza with pickled onions and cured bacon on a BBQ sauce base. We added fresh jalapeños to it and it was amazing! It put CPK’s BBQ Chicken Pizza to shame. Next time you’re in town do yourself a favor and stop by this place for a little slice of heaven.

The food was ok. The wait was long. When we ordered, my friend made about 4 changes to her sandwich and asked for wheat bread. I asked the mustard and mayonnaise be left off of my sandwich and for white bread. After a long wait, the food comes out. White and wheat mixed up and mayonnaise on my sandwich. The server knew it, she said something like, «oh, they put the mayo on yours,» as she put it down. Really, why bring it if it’s wrong and you know it? Probably because we weren’t going to wait another 30 minutes for another sandwich. Sigh. It was tasty, though.
