I always go to Riccis for liquor when I’m in Malden. Especially on Sunday because they’re open till 8!!! It’s easy to get to, there’s never a line, they have a good selection, and prices are good. :)

I’m officially Unilocal’ing a liquor store right now, so I don’t know what that says about me but moving on… Ricci’s is legit. I’m in here on the weekends and the guys working here are always very pleasant. They have what I need, everything’s easy to find, and there’s never a line. Peace, love and bud light. Happy weekend my friends.

Unless you are looking for a more upscale wine selection, which you can find next door at Kappy’s, then there is no reason not to go to Ricci’s. The beer and booze selection is excellent considering the size of the store and they are priced considerably well. The staff is very friendly and almost always willing to chat. Whatever game you’re missing to pick up booze they will always have on. Their cigarettes, though limited in selection, are sold at what seems to be state minimum in price.

I’d take this place over the Kappy’s a few feet away ANYDAY! The people are nice, I think it’s family owned in some way because they have pictures of Grandkids and others on the walls. Always greeted kindly and end up making small talk at the counter because they’re friendly. Sometimes we go down there during football games to buy beer as an excuse to catch part of the game which they always have on the TV above the registers. Prices are pretty much what you’d expect them to be for a place in Massachusetts. They have a wide variety of everything, too… beer, wine, hard liquor… pretty much everything, including a whole wall dedicated to cold ones. It looks small from the outside but it’s actually quite full! And 40z of Steel Reserve for about $ 2.50. Yep. And scratch tickets. and cigs and snacks.

I go to Ricci’s maybe once a week. It’s right on Main Street in Malden and the closest place to the side of Melrose(being the dry town that it is) that I always hang out in. The prices are certainly fair, the people are great and the selection is quite wide. Every time I, or any of my friends, go into Ricci’s we’re greeted with a smile, a «how are you?» and an offer for help. I’ll continue to go here and recommend it to anyone in the area.
