The place is gone. No longer there the phone is disconnected. So sad. Was not the best but have been going here for a very long time

Owner(Susan I think) is outrageously rude. What was always a great place but was bought a couple years ago, Has become a service nightmare. An owner that is un accommodating to guests and has let that bleed into staff that are bitchy(mainly at owner I think). Better places to spend your time and money in Mammoth. Let the owner either sell or learn that she has no business in the restaurant business. Both the same Perry’s that has been a Mammoth fixture for decades.

Very disappointed in this place. It looks like a decent place with Italian food specially after reading some reviews. To start of the service was the worst out all the places we visit in Mammoth in a week long stay. The food is overpriced and nothing special by far. We ordered a pizza which was ok(nothing special) and I made the mistake of ordering spaghetti with garlic sauce. I tried the spaghetti and that was it(by far I can say it was the worst spaghetti I have ever had) it tasted like spaghetti thrown in a pot of water with garlic. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Longtime favorite. My current favorite is the stuffed bell peppers. The Bruschetta was some the best I have eaten. Service was timely and friendly.

This place is very mediocre. The pizza and pasta are nothing special and they are over priced. Our dinner was very disappointing for being«four star». Please save your money. You are better off going to a fast food restaurant.

After hiking all day in Yosemite, we were looking for some solid food in Mammoth Lakes and Perry’s was just across the street from our hotel. We had a great experience our first night and then returned for two more evenings. Perry’s is a very well run restaurant with excellent Italian food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Our waitress each night, Kathy, was wonderful, with great tips on food and local things to do. Over three nights, we sampled a variety of pasta and pizza dishes and loved everything we tried. Fresh local beers from Mammoth Brewing Company are on tap; the Epic IPA and Golden Trout Pilsner are first rate beers. We were sad to leave. If you find yourself in Mammoth Lakes, Perry’s is much recommended.

We come to Mammoth all the time and have never tried this place! It looked very skeptical from the reviews but my wife and 5 year old son decided to give it a try. Needless to say we didn’t end up staying because my son had a small bag of chips and the waitress or owner came over and told us he could not have a bag of chips because it was a health code violation! That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard we were sitting outside on their patio! Then I questioned her that if he was a baby would I couldn’t bring baby food because it was a health code violation she said no it wouldn’t be. She was the rudest waitress I have ever met and looking closely at other reviews I see they are like that too all families. I would recommend that nobody ever come here.

Mediocre food at best and the owner was extremely unpleasant and rude. If you have kids, forget about it.

Every time we are in Mammoth(2 — 3 times a year), we make a point of eating here. We have never been disappointed in the pastas and just tried their pizza. The Blizzard is wonderful! Susan is very personable and the service is great! The price is very reasonable for the quality of food. Wonderful!

Good, casual restaurant. The food is very good and the service was good as well. The place isn’t very elegant and a bit old but it is nice and casual. Overall if you want a good meal at a casual restaurant then this is the place for you.

After a terrible experience at Giovanni’s Pizza where the drinks and service were terrible, we came across this place. The service was very good and our meals were fantastic. I had the piccata de pollo and my fiancé had the mammoth pizza. We both had empty plates at the end of the meal. We will definitely come back here to eat again. I question the bad reviews because this place was awesome!

OK in a pinch, ie., if you don’t want to wait in line at other restaurants. Been here twice. Just walked up and was sat right down on a Saturday night, then again on a New Year’s Eve without reservations. That was nice, but I think it speaks volumes on service(efficent but curt), and food(came fast, but mine, the calamari, was luke warm and needed salt or something). I heard the pizza was good. Will try that next time.

My wife and I shared a minestrone soup a dinner salad and lasagna. The minestrone soup was solid. The dinner salad was tiny by the time we split it we both got about a leaf of lettuce a slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber. The lasagna was delicious and a pretty large portion. The garlic bread that came with the lasagna was also very good. The service was about average they did seem under staffed to me. All of this for a total of about $ 38 after tax. The dinner was good but overpriced considering we shared a dinner.

Ordered take out. We got the chicken parm and a small pizza. The chicken parm was good. But not 18 $$ good. As far as the pizza we were wicked disappointed. The small was very small and not too cheap. For the price I expected more… probably will try another place next time in town

Came for my birthday and unfortunately left very disappointed with the food – service was okay. Garlic bread was under cooked and soggy, salad was watery and dressing was bland. Main dishes luke warm and average at best. Too expensive for a forgettable meal! Won’t return…

I’d give this place 3.5 stars, just as the rating suggests. Overall, the food was good, the service was great, but it didn’t really have the«fancy restaurant» feel to go with the«fancy restaurant» price. I don’t have any major complaints, but I think they are kinda stuck between being a family restaurant and a classy Italian café. I feel like they could move up, but the devil’s in the details(décor, feel, experience, etc). FOOOOOD: Very good. The Chicken Marsala had an excellent flavor and was cooked well(although it was a thin piece of chicken). The garlic bread was very good, but I wished it would have been served earlier instead of on the dinner plate. It was light and fluffy, but still had just a touch of crunch to it. The mixed veggies were a bit under-cooked(carrots were still crunchy), and didn’t have a lot of flavor. The side of pasta w/marinara was a nice touch and a great complement to the main entrée. She suckered me in to a dessert, but the cannoli was excellent. It had just the right flavors(the cherry whipped cream was cool), with a hint of cinnamon? in the crust and the sweet chocolate drizzle. Comment: the crust was a bit hard and thick, so it was very challenging to eat without destroying it Service was great. No complaints really. Because the place wasn’t busy, she walked past my table many times throughout the meal and I could have asked for something at any time. It was a little weird walking in and not having someone greet me, but that’s how small restaurants often are; I awkwardly sat myself at a table. Again, no complaints here, but it’s just not the same as a fancy Italian restaurant. Random: I’ll probably come back at some point because I liked the food so much. I still felt like the $ 35 bill was a bit much for dinner/drink/dessert, but that’s just my opinion. I’ve been to nice, fun Italian restaurants and spent less. The décor was an attempt at classy, but it was a little bit random. I wasn’t diggin’ the lime green paint.

I drove past this place while passing through Mammoth. After I parked, I pulled out Unilocal and searched for a review. A modest 4.5 is what appeared on my screen in a sky kissed sunset. I said, «Meh, an alright review and an empty stomach won’t stop me.» As soon as I stepped in I was greeted by who appeared to be the restaurant manager. An even livelier waitress sat us down and kindly, and enthusiastically, reviewed the menu with us. In I went, thinking I would get the usual ‘me’ menu item; a medium cheese pizza. Plain and simple is what many of my friends would say about me; it’s no different for my food. So after being quickly and enthusiastically convinced by my waitress that this restaurant was the best place to try a calzone, I threw my hands in the air and said, «SURE! Why not?» She was walking away but just before she turned into the corner, I said, «Oh and don’t forget to add some shrimp and chicken.» Like. A. Boss. Yeah, it was pretty great for mountain food. Paul said of Mammoth, «It’s like Big Bear on steroids!» Anyway, I left, away to try and get home and achieve at least a few hours of sleep. After all, we had just come from Mono Lake in hopes of me repeating my 09′ feat which can still be seen in offices today. It was a great short weekend getaway and I’m glad(briefly saves and quits Unilocal in order to search for the restaurant’s name he just ate at) Perry’s Pasta N’ Pizza was a part of it. Until the next road trip.

Stick with the pizza or calzones and the Mammoth brew on tap and you’ll love this place. Get the pasta and some overpriced, crappy wine and that’s your bad. You’ll end up wishing you went somewhere else. Mammoth pizza was good. Love the big crust and size of the thing. Toppings were fresh. Friends got pasta and begged for a slice of our pizza. Lesson learned. Trust me.
