Absolutely horrid restaurant, if you want gas and burning diarrhea then by all means come here, you’re better off visiting a taco bell, add to that sketchy service that charged 30 $ more on your receipt not showing the list of items but the final price, this is a stay away spot.

Cant recommend this place enough. Trust me, when you can smell both your lengua taco and a dirty bathroom simultaneously while you’re eating, you are eating authentic Mexican food. Dirt cheap. Would go again.

The new South Park episode reminded me of some of the reviews. This place has probably some of the best Tacos in the area, the tomatillo sauce is amazing. You can’t go wrong with any of the meats for the tacos and the Milanese is done right.

Straight to the point; cold/mediocre food and horrible service. If willing to come here make sure you add them to your taxes as a charity because you will be giving away your money and receive nothing back.

Not so great Mexican. Not really authentic. Food lacked flavor and the meats were either really dry or gristley. Went there got lots of different tacos, quesadilla, and ceviche de Mariscos. I liked the horchata but disappointed in the food. It looked good though.

Mexican cuisine. It was a long wait but in the end it was worth it. We waited 1 hours to be served. Ordered the torta de milanesa. They are huge!!! Place looks rundown and old but the food was great!

I can speak a little Spanish. it’s not hard people, the menu also has pictures so you can point if needed. Part of the reason why the gringos are claiming poor service is probably because the staff’s English is not very good. I’m Asian just as an fyi. I sought mexican street style tacos after trying El Gordo’s in Vegas. Best street style tacos I’ve ever had. The tacos here aren’t bad, not great but much better than Taco Bell. If you like the Bell, you probably won’t like this type of food. The types of meat can be considered«bizarre Foods» like by most people’s standards but the al pastor is a good starting point. It’s pork that has been cooked with pineapple basically. If you like spicy, they have a pepper sauce condiment tray. I like the habanero and the spicy green sauce which I believe is avocado based. Give it a try and don’t expect 5 star service. It’s one of those places foodies might like. I’ve never had an issue with slow service. Just smile and make eye contact and someone will come over. Hell, an Hola might even work lol.

This is the third time I’ve come here and the previous times have been good but this time the meat was dry and was very disappointed with the place.

Food was okay but the service was AWFUL. The food took FOREVER and it came out piecemeal. We watched two different parties come in after us and get their food before us. The server made up a poor excuse as to why this happened, «the grill was full.»

Decent tacos, but a loong, loong wait. We were only two people, ordering a total of 6 tacos, but something like 5 parties who arrived after us were served first. Wtf! Is it pertinent that we weren’t Hispanic and didn’t speak Spanish, and that the 5 other parties were and did? We waited close to an hour. Definitely not going back. Forget that.

I’m reading good things on there food. Unfortunately I’ll never find out. After others getting waited on and others coming in to chat with the help we finally had to walk out. So we will never go back when there are plenty other taquerias in town that are willing to serve us.

I had the shrimp fajitas. Holy smokes… ridiculously salty! Even wrapped with the rice and beans, all I could taste was the salt. Not to mention… service is horribly slow. Don’t expect to get ur food until at least 20 minutes after ordering. Also, don’t expect anyone to come by seeing if u need refills on water or anything… which I emptied after three bites of my salt laced with shrimp. I would give it a one star, but my husband seemed to at least enjoy his pork belly tacos. I should have opted for that since it would only be $ 2.50 of disappointment as opposed to my $ 13 shrimp fajitas…

Great tacos, it is definitely one of the better places to get authentic Mexican food. I also had the cocktail shrimp, some very simple ingredients but a very small portion. I also did not like the brown coloring of my limes, not cool man, not cool.

OMG, delicious! This reminds me so much of actually dining in Mexico — the pace, the décor, the surroundings, and the food! Oh, the food! I was so very torn between what to get and was almost swayed by the chicken mole, but I wanted to try more than one item so got a pupusa(pollo/chicken), a carnitas(pork) taco, and a barbacoa(goat) taco, as well as a side of guacamole. The barbacoa was, hands down, amazing, though everything was delicious. The guacamole had a little too much other stuff and not enough avocado for me, but it was still tasty and an excellent accompaniment to the meat. As others have said, the décor is nothing impressive, little to no English is spoken(only one of the three women we interacted with spoke English) and sometimes the jukebox can be deafeningly loud. So? It’s all about the food, baby, and MAN is it worth it. Not the place at all for my vegetarian husband, but I’ll be back, for sure. Still gotta try that mole, and the carne abobada, and the carne aside, and and and…

Excellent Mexican! This is our preferred, sit down, Mexican restaurant. After living in Southern Cal and working in Texas, this is our best Mexican food find! Their carne is fantastic and the tacos reminiscent of the south west style of food. the nachos are fresh made and the Guacamole is superb. All made from scratch! The portions are generous both dine in and take out, and it always seems like a small crowd of folks are there,(one sign of a good place) The wife and I can get our fill WITH leftovers to take home for about $ 25 inc tip. You may have to look to find the location, but take the effort. Regular customers!

This is a hole in the wall, little english speaking, slow service restaurant that certainly doesn’t win any awards on attractiveness or cleanliness. This is also the best taco place I’ve been to in the area. Seriously, it’s so good. The al pastor is the best while the carne asada and barbacoa are not bad either. I hear they do a decent lengua too. All tacos come with cilantro and onion, with sides of radish, cuke, and lime.(Make use of that lime!) Although not as cheap as El Molino, the portion sizes are bigger and two to three tacos will be enough to feed you. The tortas are also good and their horchata leans on the sweet side. I love their Coke too because it comes in the glass bottle and is extra sweet/syrupy!
