Love their general tso’s chicken, they also have great prices. Definitely worth checking out.

Cheap Chinese outside Old Town Mananas Va. Forget about doing sit down and just take it to-go. Came here and witnessesd a Lunch buffet fail. Hardly any of the items were stocked, I saw mostly empty pans with sauce sitting in the bottom. I must have come after an entire construction crew or something because there wasn’t much food left and this was around 1 pm. For $ 7.99 I kind of regret coming here. The food I did find at the buffet bar was mediocre. The fried ground chicken meat balls were not great. The pepper steak was a tad chewy. The sweet and sour chicken had a fried starchy coating. On the positive side the fried rice was decent. The generic general tso’s style chicken was pretty good. The outside was nicely coated with a sugary sweet sauce yet was still hot and crunchy. Of course the quality of the meat was average. The egg roll was satisfying. I still had all I could eat :) although I won’t be back. Also there was only one waitress that seemed to be running the entire place. She was in the back trying to help restock the buffet/fill a carry out order for the majority of the time I was there. Just a heads up the interior of the restaurant is very dark, maybe they are trying to save money by using less lights but it was oddly dark. Barely any natural light either.

My boyfriend and I have ordered delivery from here several times. The only time I have been disappointed with is when I wanted to order something different, Chow Mein, and it definitely wasn’t the Chow Mein(semi-crispy noodles) that I am familiar with. Instead it was some sort of vegetable mix that was soupy and thick. I didn’t even try it. However, we are fans of this place. Have not been disappointed with anything else. The crab rangoon are large and filled with the appropriate amount of fillers, not like most other places where they are tiny and only filled ¼ of the way. My boyfriend normally orders the Beef Lo Mein/Orange Chicken/Chicken on a stick. He likes these very much and tends to stick with these choices and likes them alot. I normally order one of the following: Shrimp fried rice, Shrimp General Tsos, Beef & Broccoli, Steamed Shrimp & Broccoli, Crab Rangoon, with Spring Rolls. All of which I have not been disappointed with. I would say my favorite being General Tsos Shrimp, but I try and be good most of the time and do the steamed meal instead. This place has been on Mathis since I can remember growing up. The parking lot is always empty so for a period of time I thought they had closed down. I was very pleased to find out differently and now we order from them frequently. They are very quick with their deliveries as well.

Again, ordered from Grubhub. This time on a Saturday afternoon before the dinner rush. My order arrived well within 30 minutes and was hot and tasty. Ordered the Kung Pao Combo and Mongolian beef, it was great. However, About a month or two ago, my boyfriend and I went to eat at the actual restaurant. Our waitress was gone most of the time and other patrons were very noisy. The food was OK, but I really think it tastes better delivered for whatever reason. Grubhub also has coupons(spend $ 10 get two free egg rolls, etc) If I ever feel like Chinese takeout, this place is great for that. Be wary of popular business times like Friday nights, as delivery will probably take much longer than it did for me around 2 on a Saturday afternoon. Oh, but I can’t forget about their sushi… Compared to the Japanese grills and sushi bars around here, the sushi really isn’t that great.

Unfortunately, the food here is really bad. I’d go as far to say the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, anywhere. The dishes we ordered aren’t anything special and lack any type of flavor. I got the Kung-Pao chicken and it was full with vegetables and not a lot of meat. Clearly they were trying to add a bunch of filler items on the plate. The interior is extremely uninviting and very dark. I’m new to that part of Manassas, but it appears this restaurant used to be top notch until sold off to new management. That’s disappointing. I can’t see this place lasting. Every time I drive past here, it looks completely empty.

I placed my order at 9:03PM and didn’t get it delivered until 9:54PM. I was hoping the 30 minute delivery would stand true but no. What made things worse is when I opened my food my wings were really overcooked and hard and my Combination Lo Mein didn’t look or taste freshly made. I’m pissed because their food is normally very good but this night they made a half-ass effort. You don’t continue to get my business that way!

We have been a fan of Wu“s for years, but recently there has been a significant decline in the quality of their food. Last night we ordered our usual array of appetizers, soups, fried chicken wings and pork fried rice. The soups were good, the fried wontons and egg rolls were good… but the fried chicken wings were disgusting and there was not one piece of pork in the pork fried rice. The wings had obviously been cooked the day before and dropped back in the fryer to r heat. They were extremely greasy, gray and the meat inside was hard and discolored. Needless to say we didnt eat them. Now pork fried rice is a staple of every chinese restaurant… you would think that actually putting pork in pork fried rice was a no brainer. but apparently not. There are quite a few options for chinese food in the area… but it us sad to see a favorite fail. This is the forth time we have gotten food that we couldnt eat. end of the road for my family and wu“s garden.

It’s sad how far downhill Wu’s has gone. This is the only place I remember getting Chinese food from when I was little. You walked in, everyone knew you, knew your family and your order. They sold the restaurant a while back and the place has never been the same. It’s such a shame too, Wu’s was the go to for Chinese food back in the day.

This place is no good and a rip off. My egg roll was literally dripping with grease, my sweet and sour shrimp was nothing but sweetness, including the breading on the shrimp and the fried rice is like a salt lick. And the kicker is that I ordered a 20oz soda and they gave me a smaller size. I will never order here again!

So disappointed right now. The worst Chinese food I’ve had in my whole life. I should have read the reviews before ordering. I ordered Pineapple Chicken and there are a millon other vegetables on this dish that the menu didn’t make mention of. The dish was flavorless and plain. I also order some Philly roll sushi. The rice tasted so old… the rolls broke apart as soon as I grabbed them with the chopsticks. 20 dollars to the garbage…

Yeah. Two star Chinese. They sent me a menu and the variety intrigued me. The sushi intrigued me too… but after reading these reviews I wasn’t too sure of anything. I carefully ordered a variety of what I thought would be tasty no matter what. Nothing with«fried chicken chunks» — I know how those can go wrong. I enjoyed fried wontons, but the chicken on a stick didn’t thrill me and the steak kew was tough. The sweet and sour combo tasted«off» somehow(not even sure what happened there) and was completely devoid of vegetables. Throw me some friggin pineapple chunks, at least! I also tried a Philadelphia roll: salmon, cream cheese, avocado. Good, but no better than a grocery store, really. So I will continue to search for my favorite Chinese restaurant in Manassas. I did like the building and the décor was pretty. It has potential. Maybe with more comfortable seating or a more divided floor plan… eh, what do I know, I just got take out. The only person in there at the time was a whimpering baby belonging to the staff. Wu’s Garden is a classic example of a restaurant stuck in that vicious cycle of customer loss, leading to cost cutting, leading to more customer loss, and so on… Kind of depressing.

This review strictly covers my order of general tso’s chicken, which I ordered via grub hub. Honestly I must’ve ordered funnel cake because that’s all this dish consisted off, sauce covered breading. There was hardly any chicken in this dish. Will not order this dish again.

I just moved to the area and have tried several Chinese places. A few are good but they don’t have Chicken Chow Fun which is my favorite dish. They also have high delivery minimums. Since this place was the lowest at $ 12(I was only ordering for one) and Chicken Chow Fun was on the menu, I decided to give it a try. Service was fast and the delivery person was pleasant but the fun ends there. The food was terrible, unfortunately. The noodles in the Chow Fun were not cooked fresh. They were hard and stuck together, the way noodles react when they’re reheated. The chicken was cut into tiny little strips and there were more stringy veggies in there than anything else. To top it all off, the sauce was soooo bland. I was STARVING and it still tasted bad. I also got a California roll to meet the delivery minimum. The rice tasted stale as if it had been sitting out or refrigerated and then left out to reach room temperature. Also there was one extremely thin piece of crab that didn’t even show through to the roll ends, and a teensy piece of avocado. The rest was all cucumber and it was not a small roll so that’s saying something. Couldn’t even taste the crabmeat. Overall, my meal consisted of more veggies than anything else — I suppose because they cost the least amount of money to the restaurant. Reminds me of Subway. I guess I should thank them for forcing me to eat healthy but I’m not paying $ 18(minimum food charge + delivery fee + tax + tip) to eat salad.

I’ve never actually visited this place. I just order food online when I want a cheat meal. Every time I place an order, they usually arrive within 30 minutes. The foods always good. I just wish the crab rangoons were filled more. Sometimes I get some that feel like a bag of chips. By that I mean it’s half way filled with air. Overall, I give Wu’s Garden 4 stars for their convenient online ordering, decent delivery time, food quality/amount, and for giving me my junk food fix.

We order delivery from Wu’s Garden ever so often and really if I reviewed before last night it would have been about a 4 star. I have never not liked anything they have delivered. crab rangoons, low mein, sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, beef with brocoli and love their egg drop soup. Last night however, sweet and sour chicken was not cooked properly, not fried well and needless to say, my other half and the kids all got major food poisoning! Everyone minus Mom(who is not a major fried food fan) had a fever, chills and spent all day having issues from both ends. The spicy orange chicken had the same issue… but slightly cooked more. I had crab rangoons and eggs drop soup and was fine. Really hope this was a bad substitute cook night. Otherwise we are starting over on finding a new Chinese delivery place.

worst Chinese food and service ever. I ordered fried rice and generals tsaos chicken. they brought me fried rice and chicken wings. Sorry but I’m not paying that much for rice and wings so I called them an told them my order was wrong. She said ok and sent the driver back with my generals chicken. then they made the driver ask for the good back that they delivered by mistake! I’m sorry but u don’t do that. what are they are gonna do give it to someone else? the generals chicken they brought is the worst I’ve ever eaten in my life. DONOTEATHERE. They are awful!

I’ve ordered here twice and there’s a reason. The food is outdated and not as fresh as it could be. The service and delivery is wonderful, it’s just the food. There are people that think that this is the best Chinese around. NO. Myself being Asian, I know the quality is not how Asian food should be and anyone that enjoys this has a jacked up view on how Asian food is. They have sloppy diets. The food is bland or sloppily made. The rice smells moldy. I don’t want to bring this place down, it just needs improvement. The building is very attractive inside, having a temple-like feel. It gives the right ambiance of Oriental grandeur. They just need an overhaul of the dishes. The ones they have are from the old fashioned style of the 70 – 80’s which can be still terrific with the right attention to it.

Had I known about this place when I worked in Manassas I probably would have been ordering from here once per week. I can get my Chinese and sushi fix all in one place! I’ve only had the sushi from here one time but it was decent by my standards. Nothing like some other places I love, but that’s why I love those places for sushi. What I love about Wu’s Garden, hands down, is their Crab Rangoon. These are not your tiny little purse crab Rangoon with like no filling. These are triangular pockets of savory goodness. The bf for the triple delight and fried rice where were tasty as well. Their wanton soup has a good flavorful broth, unlike some watery versions I’ve had other places. It would be a toss up between here and Hunan down the road. For Crab Rangoon though, this is my place!

There’s a new Wu in town. Had it in my mind that I wanted chinese for Fri dinner so I checked this place out. It’s not much to look out from the outside but the dining room inside is much nicer. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. I had the Mu Shu pork which was really very good.; the portion size was mega. The only thing I didn’t care for were the crepes, they were tasteless and rather tough. More than enough for a single meal… so I got a ‘go box’ and will lunch with Wu today.
