Last year I got overwhelmed trying to brine and cook my own ham as well as smoke a turkey… all while preparing a bevy of sides. This year for my early Thanksgiving meal with family I decided to pick up a ham from HoneyBaked. It comes refrigerated, pre sliced and ready for serving. The ham was good. They said to take it out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving so it gets to room temperature. I prefer the ham much warmer than that. I’d suggest bringing it to room temperature and then popping it in the oven prior to serving. They had a coupon online. The prices in the store were cheaper than what online quoted.

They have hambones! And, a fantastic split pea mix. My kids beg me to make split pea soup, and I always did after a holiday ham had been thoroughly ravaged. So, it was a once in awhile thing. When I found out that I could just get the hambone for about 9 bucks, the soup made the winter meal rotation more frequently. Which is great — little effort is required and the soup lasts for a few meals. And everyone is fat and happy :)

I work right next to Honey Baked Ham and am amazed I haven’t been going there sooner for lunch. I ordered the Tavern club and got the Broccoli bacon blitz as my side. My sandwich? Perfection. Thick cut ham, turkey, bacon, cheddar, and all the trimmings on this incredibly soft and tasty honey wheat bread. I dream of making deli sandwiches this well rounded. My side, the broccoli bacon blitz, sadly did not have the bacon flavor I was hoping for. It had a very sweet taste(almost like a broccoli salad). I still enjoyed it, but didn’t notice much bacon flavor at all. If you’re looking for a lunch alternative to, say, St. Louis Bread Co, give Honey Baked Ham a try. For about the same price or less you get a full sandwich rather than a half, and they have a wider variety of side options.

YESPLEASE! Honeybaked Ham is an Easter staple with my family. Absolutely delicious and homey and mouth watering. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad Honeybaked Ham experience. And it helps that I have lunch for the next week(small family on Mom’s side) and it is just as yummy between two slices of bread as it is next to mashed potatoes and asparagus! Even going for lunch is good and cheap.

Me and a coworker ended up at Honeybaked Ham because we were tired of going to our usual spots for lunch. I like their ham sandwiches a lot. You can get wheat, croissant, or white bread. they have a lunch special which comes with the sandwich, a side which ranges from day to day, and a can soda for 5 bucks. The service is quick and friendly. During lunch there’s usually only a couple people in their so its never busy. Some of their sides are broccoli salad, pasta salad, and maccaroni salad.

Yes… a vegetarian is reviewing the Honey Baked Ham Co. This is ridiculous and that’s fine. I can review it because I have eaten plenty of these in my life, and my family ALWAYS orders their holiday hams from this place. I have been dealing with them for years, so I know how they roll. They are actually pretty good. They always take the order, keep the order, and have the order ready when they say it will be ready. They will slice the ham for you if you so desire, or keep it solid for your dad to fight with on Christmas like we tend to do… it’s much funnier. And if memory serves me correctly, I can honestly say, the ham is quite delicious. It was moist and sweet the way a ham should be. I generally hated ham when I was eating meat, but this one was pretty good. All in all, if you need a holiday ham, go get it here. You will not be disappointed.
