Jessica M. It’s not«crème de la crêpe» to porto. It’s an other company, not french !

This place just opened up in El Porto! Nice to have a crêpe, smoothie, coffee, salad and tea spot in the neighborhood. I had a sweet crêpe with mangos, strawberries, pecans and mocha chocolate topping. It was delicious and reasonably priced. I recommended that they buy blueberries to have on hand for next time. Blueberries are key ingredients to smoothies and crepes. I also treated myself to a smoothie and it was refreshing. They don’t use any mix, just water and fresh fruit. We will be back again really soon! I hope that they utilize GrubHub, Eat24, and Google really soon and they last in the neighborhood! Delivery would be clutch! Only reason they got four stars instead of five is because they weren’t accepting cards and didn’t have blueberries. It was cold tonight and running to an atm was a bit chilly. They should be accepting cards in a few days, they just opened up!

Food is delish! Love the Gluten-free crepes and good selection of wine. Customer service could be improved – the French servers can sometimes have an air of pretentiousness even though the food-level is Bistrot style and informal. Other than that, great open air ambience and lots of delicious options with French Flair. Bön apetit!

Visited this place about two weeks ago to satisfy a crêpe craving, and found to my dismay that Crème de la Crêpe was no more, replaced with a steakhouse called F Grill. I spoke to one of the staffers(whom I recognized from before) and he said it was the same owner, but they had shifted to a a new name and type of food the week prior. You’ll be missed, Crème de la Crêpe! I guess I’ll go to the not-as-quaint Hermosa Beach location instead. :(

Was confused when trying to get here – we thought it was Crème de la Crêpe, but changed two weeks ago to F. Grill. Friendly staff and great food, but they messed up our orders a bit. If the area wasn’t so nice and I wasn’t already in an unbreakable good mood, I may have been upset. Once they fixed it all was delicious!

I’ve been a long time fan of this place. Visited it mostly during the weekend afternoons for late brunch /lunch. I would highly recommend their healthy breakfast plate and filet-mignon crêpe. Pretty friendly staff, always a chill & quiet place to grab a healthy meal with friends. It seems like they just recently CLOSED. There is a new restaurant called F Grill at this address now. I’m not sure if it is the same manager and staff. The menu looked different, interior looked exactly the same. I would also recommend the Crème de la Crêpe at Hermosa Beach. It is about 15 minutes away from this location.

I got the bolognese pasta and it was really good. When I came here the place was really empty. It was Friday at 1:00 pm. The overall tastes was good. The only thing that I didn’t loved is that they don’t bring bread or something to start with. Even when I got my pasta I had to ask for some bread to mix it with. Also parking might be a pain.

I grew up in Paris and eating crepes was a common on the streets! But since moving here, I have been quite disappointed with people claiming to serve crepes! I ordered the Suzette and it was sooooo authentic and good! Unbelievable!!! I could eat two if I wasn’t watching out for my weight! It has orange, lemon, and whipped cream. $ 6.50 but so worth it.

Incredible crepes! Very similar to authentic French crepes. My fiancé and I came here for valentines dinner and they seated us right away. If you are wanting to have good, deep conversation this is probably not the right place to go on a date. The seating is very close, so if you want to mingle with the people sitting next to you or hear every detail of their conversation then this is right for you. The seating didn’t surprise us though because it’s exactly like the crepery in France with it’s limited space. The food was really really delicious and filling. The waiters very attending and friendly. I felt comfortable and like I was well taken care of. They have a great latte and amazing savory crepes. We had a crêpe with Nutella, bananas and strawberries and it hit the spot. Definitely worth checking this place out. And there is outside seating that looked pretty with heaters.

This place has such a romantic atmosphere, perfect for dates. Best know for their fancy crepes. We got the All Mare entrée and it was absolutely delicious. We also got a chocolate chocolate dessert crêpe perfect for chocolate and strawberry lovers. Well balanced blend of sweet and sour must try!

Came here once for breakfast and one other time for a sweet dessert. The savory crepes that we had for breakfast were pretty good and the dessert crepes weren’t bad either. The crepes themselves were well made and the amount of toppings they put on didn’t overwhelm them. Haven’t had anything else off of their menu. Wouldn’t drive out here just to eat here but would stop in if I was walking by

What a delicious restaurant. Wonderful drink selection… I had delicious champagne! My co worker and I went for dinner and we had savory crêpe’s. I would recommend this sweet and quaint restaurant to anyone that was looking for a light meal that was well made. Small seating areas but still private enough for one to have a conversation and not be intrusive to your neighboring tables. In walking distance of main streets through downtown and in a well lit part of the street. Parking lot available two blocks away if you can not find parking in street.

The food here is excellent, but the service is so terrible as to make the quality of the food irrelevant. Not only did our lunch take over 2 hours, but the servers made us feel guilty for inconveniencing them with requests like a water refill and questions about where our food was. When we walked in they said it was a 5-minute wait. About 10 minutes later, another server came up and we found that the first hadn’t even out our names in. When I mentioned that he’d said it would be a 5-minute wait, the new server snorted — yes, actually SNORTED at me — and scoffed that it would be much longer.(We were holding a squirmy baby and would not have stuck around had we known the wait would be so long.) When we were finally seated, it took forever to get any food. We’d just gotten off the plane and told them that we were dehydrated and needed a lot of water, but we constantly had to ask to get our water glasses refilled. Even when the server walked by us, he didn’t notice our glasses. We had to yell to get our server to notice us. Since the place was busy and it took 30 minutes for our food to arrive after ordering, when our lunch arrived we immediately asked the server to start our dessert, figuring that we could eat slowly and have our dessert quickly after before the baby lost patience. The server took our plates away while we were still holding our sandwiches in our hands. He returned when we’d finished eating, and we asked about our dessert. «The Suzette? You are ready for it?» He asked. We said yes. «Okay, I’ll go put it in.» After about 40 minutes, the baby was melting down and our parking meter was out of time, so after some yelling and waving we managed to snag our server. We asked about our crêpe Suzette, and he answered in an annoyed voice that we needed to be patient because there were«many tickets» ahead of ours. We tried to figure out if the crêpe had been started, because if not we wanted to cancel it and leave! He wouldn’t tell us. He just snorted again and walked off. Finally another server came over, probably because we wee looking confused and ticked off and the baby was crying. We asked if our Suzette had even been started yet. He gave us the same spiel about how many tickets were in front of ours, despite the fact that we’d ordered the crêpe Suzette almost an hour before. It was like they were trying to make us feel guilty. Finally, the second server brought out our dessert and took the price off our check since we waited so long. But he seemed confused as to why we were annoyed.(One of us was outside at this point walking up and down the sidewalk with the baby.) The food was perfectly good, but the whole lunch took over 2 hours, despite straightforward ordering right off their menu. And we overheard other tables complaining about their food taking forever, too. Not worth the wait.

I completely forgot to write a review, it’s been 3 months lol. I need to catch up. I met my friends here for lunch, the food is not bad and we had good service. I had the chicken panini, it was good but a little on the soggy/greasy side for my taste. Overall it’s not a bad place to have lunch and bs with your friends.

I’ve been here twice for breakfast after running along the beach. Both times we were seated after a few minutes for a party of four. This place isn’t very big. The service has been great both times. Both times I ordered the Energy Sandwich. It’s served with a little side salad and fresh fruit. I am not sure what dressing is on this salad but it is not to be overlooked. I love this little salad. The fruit is as good as it gets for fresh fruit. Now this sandwich is so freaking good. They have this amazing pesto. Best I’ve ever had. I recommend trying this sandwich if you want to be healthy but want it to taste like you’re being bad. My fiancé had a sweet apple crêpe the first time. I forget what it’s called but it was like a piece of apple pie. Delicious. Today he had the French toast and he said it was very good. It’s served with a scoop of cinnamon whip. His eyes lit up when he had tried that. Our two friends had the healthy breakfast plate and raved how good it was especially the strawberry jam. Try this place. You won’t regret it. Prices are reasonable.

Crepes & Omelette Ordered a Madrid omelette & fruit crêpe, total $ 27 + tip. We were the only ones ordering at the time, and it still took 10 minutes to get or plates. Crêpe, lots of flavor with the fruits in side. Enough for one person. The omelette was the kind that the eggs are fully cooked and then the ingredients are placed in side. This one had Spanish chorizo, avacado and some other stuff. The chorizo was very tasty and made the omelette. There was also some kind of potato dish on the plate, bread, jam and a salad. Not sure why there was a salad for breakfast… Anyway, all was good, and very different than what I would normally eat for breakfast.

The best breakfast I’ve had in a LONGLONG time. I’ve also had crepes in France, so I do know a good crêpe when I have one. Service: 5⁄5 Food: 5⁄5 Overall experience: 5⁄5 I built my own breakfast crêpe with prosciutto, poached egg, spinach, and brie cheese. YUM! Oh, it was just SO good. Everyone at the table ordered something different and we were all very impressed with their crêpe. Their coffee was also outstanding. The waiter was polite and informative. When I’m in the area, I must go back!

Oh boy, best dessert crepes I’ve had in the South Bay. I will forever crave crepes now because of this place. Atmosphere: It was 9pm on a Friday night, and there were two other parties in the restaurant. It’s trendy, french, dim and small. If I ever go on a date with someone, I’m totally going to suggest this place. Food: My sister and I shared the Bisous Crêpe(Strawberry, Banana, Mango, Nutella and Vanilla Ice Cream). I was a little skeptical about the mangos since I’ve never had them in a crêpe before, but it was absolutely delightful. The crêpe was nice and thin, and the amount of sweet ingredients was surprisingly light and not too overwhelming. The Vanilla Ice Cream was also a nice cool touch. The price is definitely worth the quality. I also had a Chai Latte which was also delicious. Service: The waiters/servers here are extremely nice, contrary to my assumption. The lady working first handed us the dinner menu, and when we let her know that we only wanted dessert, I was kind of scared she would get annoyed. But she didn’t at all. The food came out fast and everyone working turned out to be super friendly and helpful. I wat to come back and try the lunch/dinner sometime. But for sure if you’re craving dessert crepes this is the place to go.

My sister and I were looking for nearby breakfast eateries when she stumbled upon this gem! We had to park across the street with metered parking but it was totally worth it. There were a lot of customers but thankfully there was an empty table able to seat our group of 3. The service there was very respectful albeit slightly slow. They were very accommodating to our needs though.(We asked to move tables since we were directly next to the door before. They had no problem letting us move to an empty table) I ordered a café latte and I enjoyed it immensely. It came with two sugar cubes(one brown, one white) but the coffee was tasty without it(I hate bad coffee). I ordered the Crêpe Annecienne which had an egg sunnyside up, asparagus, swiss cheese, ham and grilled onions. It was delicous and generously portioned. It came with a side salad. My group also shared a Crêpe Suzette after the meal. The waiter poured the Grand Marnier tableside which got a «wow» reaction from the other customers. The alcohol was a little too strong to our liking but we enjoyed the bottom of the crêpe that wasn’t drenched in liqueur. We were happy to beat the crowds because by the time we left, all the tables were completely filled! I would definitely visit this restaurant again if I’m ever in town! It was definitely not a letdown :)
