Ordered our food at 12:37, got it at 1:01 and it was cold. The place was horribly under staffed. The manager, who was nowhere to be found, is obviously more worried about a bonus than customer service. The poor kid taking orders was also trying to run food. He told us there were only 2 people in the kitchen so the shift leader was in the kitchen trying to help. 4 people running the whole place at lunch time. Very poor managememt!

I give up on this location. They are polite but it’s like pulling teeth to get them to do anything. Why do they charge 1.40 for toppings that you need a microscope to find? Why are the burgers so greasy and cold? The Burleson and Arlington locations make a much better burger. This location needs to improve!

This is my second visit to this place. Different style of burger but the fries are where it’s at. The burger are top notch but the fries are what you definitely need to order«smash fries» come with a killer herb butter which makes them fantastic. Service was quick. Restraunt was clean. All around an above average burger joint. What could be better? BIGGERBURGERS — I ordered the bigger size but it didn’t seem big enough or «fancy» enough for the price.

The best burgers in town! Quick service and nice staff. The food is always hot and made to order. Fries and never soggy and the restaurant is clean! Great location!

I have been to another Smash Burger location like maybe 2 or 3 times. I love the burgers adding the toppings I like(for my picky eater self) it’s the best when you can modify and add or take of things lol. But I do not like their fries at all. They are too small and thin. Don’t get me wrong the rosemary flavor they have is nice touch but still doesn’t make up the fact of the taste of the small thin fries, in my book at least. Nice location, little hard to get in and out of when it’s busy, but that’s anywhere you go nowadays.

I love this place! They are consistently flavorful and friendly. The Sin City burger is my new favorite with the added touch of a fried egg and onion strings to top it off. Take it from a burger snob.

Had the mushroom/swiss burger, fries & chocolate shake. All very good! The milkshakes are what makes the meal expensive but I think they use Hagen Das ice cream. It was a slow time so our food came out fast & hot. The manager came by to clear our table & ask how everything was. The only thing I would request is that they cook the fries a bit more.

Tonight we visited Smashburger for the first time. To start with, the middle menu board was out. Not knowing our way around the menu, we stayed back of the register, perusing portion of the menu board that was visible. We were greeted when we approached. Then, with our eyes glued to the board, Little Miss Trainee(who never once cracked a smile the entire time we were there) snarkily asked, «Are you ready to order yet?» My companion asked what was supposed to be on the middle menu board, and without a word, one of the remaining five young ladies snapped a laminated menu at us. I ordered the Avocado Club Burger and my companion ordered the Colorado Burger, though we felt rushed to order. No «please.» No «thank you.» We also ordered the buffalo fries. My companion also ordered a chocolate malt(more on that in a bit). First of all, shame on me for allowing myself to be rushed and not really understand they offer a «make it your way» option. Somehow, this chain thinks they are being cute and offer a $ 7.29 burger without cheese. I was also not asked if I wanted cheese. Who doesn’t up sell, especially with the trainer standing over her shoulder? Anyway… the burgers came out before the malt mainly because the malt required two young ladies reading the recipe. My burger was coldish & dry. It looked like it had been pounded, fully cooked, under a spatula. Is that what«Smashburger» means? My bun was not toasted, nor warm. The bacon was way over-cooked, and there was not nearly enough. The ranch dressing came in approximately three drops, and the mayo was on only one side of the bun. I ate three bites, pushed it away, and waited thirty minutes for the Shift Leader, Sabrina,(who passed our table twenty times) to stop & ask if I was still working on my burger. When I expressed my dissatisfaction(«It’s not worth munching on») she very flippantly disregarded my dissatisfaction. My companion enjoyed her malt once she received it. He burger was also cold. Neither burger was seasoned… period. The fries were tolerable, but one small portion cup of ranch dressing for a large order that is being split between two people is an insult. I watched five young ladies stand around and do very little during our 45 minutes in the dining room. They each had constant drinks in the shake/malt making area. Not one of them was making an effort to see to the needs of the diners. Not one of them smiled. The only one smiling was the young lady running food. The service was apathetic. The food is mundane. The raspberry tea is bitter. I would rather eat at McDonald’s than return.

Especially when compared to the competition like five guys, smash Burger has many more options to choose from. It’s really nice that they have more options for the healthy crowd. The gluten-free crowd is even served well by smash burger. You’re just not going to find that at all burger restaurants. Altogether the food was great. In this particular location, there was some cleanup work that would’ve been nice. The bathrooms could’ve used a little work, the floor had just been mopped, and was in need of rinsing. Instead they put out caution signs. I think each person in my family slept on the way to and from the bathroom. So, as an alternative to chipotle, which happens to be immediately next-door, SmashBurger was a great option for us.

All tables were dirty I asked the lady to please clean the table for us and she told me to wait. We decided to take the food home. They also have a lady there that is growing hairs in your face people can lose their appetite just by looking at her.

Went to smash burger in Mansfield and was not impressed! We generally like smash burger but this location served cold/hard fries and the fountain drinks didn’t taste like anything. The place was packed so either it was too much for the staff to keep the food quality up OR we just had a bad experience. Overall, we will stick with the location off cooper in Arlington

This was my first visit to Smashburger. I loved my jalapeño BBQ burger. It was greasy, but not too bad. I’d eat it again. I’m not a fan of the shoestring fries. I like a little more to my fries. Will come again and try a different side.

Today we learned that our beautiful Indian family isn’t wanted at SmashBurger. In particular, the one in Mansfield… After arriving at Smashburger with gift certificates(for the adult burgers) and attempting to pay cash for 3 kids meals, we were told by the manager that they wouldn’t take our gift certificates. They knew where we had received the gift certificates(the Arlington Smashburger suddenly closed today) AND they had accepted other people’s gifts certificates(who were seated and eating). But not us… did we look too brown???

Great Burger, Awesome Fries, Nice Décor You walk in and the cool menus are on the LCD type monitors and pictures are flashing left and right… the décor is modern and really hip. My only complaint about this place is that I wish it was more like a restaurant rather than a fast food place, because the food is just that good. The Smash Fries we had were fantastic. Rosemary, oil, salt and fries… tasty! The burger was quality beef and it tasted like it was made to order… it was really good. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich with spinach and feta, it looked delicious and she really enjoyed it. I cant wait to return to try more items off the menu.

I had been to Smashburger in Arlington a few times so I was not a total newbie to the chain. SB basically is nicer burger in a trendy setting. The nice thing is the have lots of nicer toppings like avocado, sautéed mushrooms, onion straws, etc. along with the classics like BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese, and the local favs like grilled jalapeños. You can also get chicken, veggie burgers and hot dogs. And your choice of different kinds of buns. Plus several sides. So really, there is a lot to decide! They make their burgers by «smashing» the patty, so its crisp on the outside, juicy inside. Sort of like an upscale Steak-n-shake :) My fav is the create your own burger. I get blue cheese, mushrooms and onions. Super good. Only issue is it tends to be a bit overly salty but still good. I recommend the smash fries. Fries tossed in olive oil and sage(I think). Super yum. I also really like the flash fried veggies — green beans and carrot sticks deep fried. They are surprisingly not too greasy and served with some ranch dressing. I have tried the chicken sandwiches and they are not my fav. I say go for the burger. Only thing I am not a big fan of is their sweet tea.

I ordered a burger with Amerincan, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mayonaise. I believe the bun was egg bun or somethingt like that. The meat was perfectly seasoned and had lots of FLAVOR. Definitely a thumbs up!!! The bun was GOOD too! I was actually surprised with the overall taste of my cheeseburger. YUM! YUM! I ordered the regular fries, they were ok and nothing spectacular. Maybe next time I will try a different version of fries or fried pickles? For the kids: Beware if they order the hot dog, it has poppy seeds on the bun. This seemed to be a turn off for the kids at our table. I did not personally have a hot dog but that was just my OBSERVATION. Maybe ask if they have regular hot dog buns? Price was a bit high but join their email club for a coupon!

Goodness gracious, where to start. Well.I popped in to the newest Smashburger location on July 4 because wifey was hongry and who am I to turn her down. We were actually going to hit a Chipotle that’s right next door but lucky for us, they were closed for the holiday, so Smashburger it was. This newest loc resides on the SE corner of FM157 and HWY287 in Mansfield in a new little strip built next to the IHop. This was our first trip to SB and expected it to be pretty much like all the other new-age’y burger places popping up(5 Guys, Mooyah etc) and for the most part, it was BUT… the prices were very very reasonable, they had stuff on the menu that the others don’t(fresh-cut fried jalepenos!) and the folks were very friendly. I got the classic Smash which comes in 2 sizes — regular which if I remember correctly is a ¼lb patty and Big smash which is 1⁄3 lb?. It came with lettuce, tomato, pickle, american cheese and choice of bun(I opted for white). The meat itself was fresh-ground which you could tell from the tendency of it wanting to fall apart but was seasoned perfectly with salt/pepper and given a nice sear on the grill. I also had them add extra onion on it because I like close-quarter whispering with friends after meals, so they were more than happy to accommodate. For as side I got Fried Jalepeno strips and these were the capper. Sliced length-wise and served with a dipping sauce, the flavor ranged from mild(no heat) to a slight punch. These babies were NOT frozen that I could tell and I’d visit again simply for a basket of these. Wifey had a junior burger which was similar in size to a Jr Whopper but much much better. She got the fries with garlic+rosemary+EVOO which were fantastic. Here’s something I want to try on my next visit… if they can take the seasoning they put on those fries and toss the jalepenos in it…$ $$$MONEY$$$$ Another bonus is the selection of iced teas — unsweetened, sweetened and passion-fruit! Take THAT Pepsi and shove it up your Coke! When all the carnage was said and done, I think we spent 18 bucks which isn’t really bad given the quality of the food. Sure — you could hit the local mega-burger joint and fill a feedbag with their garbage for less BUT… they don’t have jalepeno strips
