A Real Hardware Store!
Every time I design, build or make something, it seems I need just a few things I don’t have. When I go to the mega stores, it seems the mega stores only stock what everybody wants, or what nobody wants, and the quality is, not what I grew up knowing. When I walk into an Ace Hardware, especially this one, it’s immediately clear that you’re dealing with somebody who knows hardware, and cares about that store making it! They always are considerate of your time, and what you want to do. You always get your personal hardware ambassador, if you want one! It’s an absolute joy to come here, and I come whenever I want he good stuff!

Came here with my father in law looking for some screws. Had no stock of size we needed. There was a pack of screws sitting on a shelf that had no seal whatsoever so I opened it to see if they would happen to work. An employee named Ken walked up and snatched them out my hand and started walking away while saying some pretty nasty stuff. Absolutely could not believe someone in retail would do that to a customer. I came to Ace over Home Depot because I want to support the small hardware store experience and give them my business. I will never step foot in this store again or give my business to this company after how I was treated by Ken

Recently I acquired a very old but great working pressure-​cooker after several great meals it locked up, the seal inside and was unable to open it. By chance about a month later, I stopped in and was told by a very friendly and helpful gentlemen, «That happens on occasionally, bring it in and I will open it for you, We also carry any replacement parts you may need». He determined the inside seal had lock up.
The following week I returned with my son and the now stinky pot, I was greeted with a look of shock and disbelief by several females. I was told no one there knew how to open those things. After some research they suggested, it could have been and employee who was not working that day and to check back with them.
Today I called and was rudely told no one there had talked to me or told me they could not help me, while I trying to ask if they even carried the parts, the woman who answered the phone just kept interrupting me saying «We can not help you here! We can not help you here!!» and then hung up the phone on me.
This is never been my experience with any other Ace Hardware (even from that store where I had shopped many times never seeing these new faces) or nearby and I will not be sorry to see their customer service skill sink to such levels.
My business with be taken elsewhere.
