Darn good dogs. Great place to grab a quick meal and that staff was very nice.

Foods pretty good, I don’t think the prices are true to the quality. They are fast paced and usually slammed at lunch time. They cook the dogs right in front of you. I was happy with my lunch but for over 10 dollars I didn’t leave thinking I found a deal. I’ll go back because there’s just something about a place like this that works. Hard to find a good hotdog at a normal restaurant.

Jumbo red hot with onion rings … with half sweet tea half lemonade drink horrible it tasted like water with sugar no Bueno… I paid 11.00 dollars I guess that’s ok but they charge you .15cents for take out and .60 for extra ketchup which I didn’t like. The hot dog was mediocre wasn’t impressed the onion rings they gave me 4 measly rings and I paid 3.00 smh it was very greasy. You’re going to wait awhile because they make the hotdog fresh which was good that’s the only reason they got a 2 star. Needless to say I won’t be back no ma’am. Lol

Personally I always liked the place, and it was great when I lived nearby and could pop in. It had hotdogs just like what I used to be able to get as a college student in Buffalo, NY. Now I don’t live nearby and I have to say I’ve attempted to visit four times(May, July, November & December) this year when I was in the area and each time the place has been closed for a vacation. There are no more weekend hours so if you don’t work nearby — that’s a wrap. So if you’re in the area — enjoy on my behalf. I won’t be making the trip anymore.

Yeah, the price is kinda high but these are very good and filling hot dogs. They have a nice little lunch rush too — near some very established restaurants. The fries left a little to be desired but the all-beef hot dogs, above average onion rings and pleasant service make this a regular lunch destination for me. Only quirk I have is that the interior looks like a frozen yogurt shop lol, not a hot dog place. Other than that I highly recommend.

This place is great! I love coming here during my lunch hour. I’ve tried the hot dogs and even the grilled chicken sandwich, both were amazing! If you sign up for their email alerts they keep you posted on their business hour changes and send coupons, especially when it rains. I usually get two jumbo beef dogs Peachtree style with pickles, I definitely recommend it!

The service is really good and the hotdogs are nothing special, but they taste okay. The prices are just too high…

Finally made it to Barkers, after so many failed attempts… I like Barkers, its safe to say they have the best grilled hotdogs(if not the only) in the Cobb area. Grilled hotdogs at its finest!!! You can actually watch him grill them up as you wait in line(no table service here). So amazing watching the grill do it’s thing, just enough heat to put a dark coat on each hotdog. I like! Prices seem a bit steep for a hot dog, but I was happy with what I received. We order 2 chilli cheese dogs added ketchup, mustard and onion we also order onion rings and a fountain drinks. I order shredded cheese on my hot dog, my lunch date ordered melted cheese on his(which was less messy, by the time I was finished, cheese was everywhere. Service was quick and friendly, they had a nice lunch crowd going on this particular Friday. Fun atmosphere with the bright colors of the restaurant and the upbeat work crew(good vibes). I meant to snap a picture of the sign that says«Now Serving Burgers,» No one in line with us ordered a burger so I cant say how they look. I cant wait to bring my sister back, I will definitely suggest/and think of Barkers when craving a good olé chilli cheese dog(the hand breaded onion rings weren’t bad either).

Never coming back they are always closed without notice. If you don’t live in Marietta skip this place due to the fact that they had unreliable hours I checked their facebook looks like they are now only open M-F until 3PM. And yes if I only worked 12 – 3 and took lots of vacation time I would receive a terrible annual review would I like it no but thats the way of the world.

So I read the reviews and I thought I’d give the place a shot. I must say that I was raised on «yellow jacket» and olé’ man Hickman’s hot dogs as a boy here in Atlanta. There are few things I enjoy more than a good dog. This ain’t it! Grilled dogs are great, but there are never two alike at this place. A friend and I walked in and ordered the exact same thing and got four different things, one grilled nicely and then three of varying stages of cooking from burnt to well cremated. Add tasteless chili, and a tiny smattering of onions and you got a really tasteless burnt dog on store bought bun. Complete the meal with over-cooked crinkle cut fries and watered down Iced tea and you know why the old guy cooking seems to be pissed off at the world. I assume this is a family business. I like family run businesses. But the whole crews seemed to want to die rather than be there. After paying a premium for lackluster quality, what could have been a good meal turned into an experience that both my friend and I would like to forget. If you are looking for a good Hot Dog, don’t waste your time here

Yes, it seems strange to write a five star review for a Hot Dog restaurant, but it really is that good. The line out the door on most lunch hours tells you that five stars are justified. What makes BRH great is that it is unique. I am not aware of other locations. This is not a big place — maybe seating for 20 inside and about 8 tables outside if the weather is nice. The line starts at the grill, where some guy with two bbq forks is turning, proding and cooking big hot dogs. They offer«all beef» and«original»(not sure what the difference is) but they are chargrilled to perfection over open flame. You then order your toppings — onions, relish, mustard, ketchup, sliced dill pickles, jalapenos, sauerkraut, bacon, cheese, chili — several of them cost money. In fact, don’t expect this to a $ 1.50 hot dog like you get at Costco. I paid $ 3.39 for an Original, which I loaded up stadium-style complete with horseradish mustard(I prefer Stadium Mustard, but they didn’t have this). I also got a side of crinkle-cut fries, which were delicious. Once you get your drink and pay, have a seat and enjoy it like you were a kid again!(free refills too!)

Best hot dogs in the ATL!!! Very beachy feel, friendly service! Just awesome! Everything is done over charcoal flame. The jumbo dog is on point! The onion rings are awesome. Fresh lemonade is tasty and refreshing! bi even had the chicken sandwich one time that has bacon on it and it was awesome. The charcoal is really the secret I think, along with great ingredients and customer service. Always love coming here and have recommended to multiple people!

A good spot if you’re looking for hot dogs. A little pricey, yes. Quick, simple ordering and nice employees. I recommend the chili dog with coleslaw!

Family run business which is great! Always support local! Definitely the foodie fix for when you want a hot dog. Chargrilled franks done just right, and made to order! Something about that smokey flavor that brings it up a notch. Fries are good, but the onion rings are better! The lunch hour is the busiest, but they don’t keep customers waiting long! A definite must have!

Food is cooked fresh to order! Place is perfect for when you’re craving that hot dog grilled over a charcoal grill! Ohhh. Their chili cheese fries are also a delicious bonus to the hotdogs. Oh, did I mention they have chili cheese fries?! if I had an extra thumb I’d give them 3 thumbs up !!

I love this place great food and atmosphere they have same staff always and you really feel welcome Try will do ½ 1⁄2 fries and orings if you can’t decide. Dogs and beef sandwich are both great. I haven’t tried the chicken but I’m sure it rocks too. They get a tad crowded at lunch, go early or late.

This place is everything and a bag of chips! Got beef dog with chili, onions, ketchup, famous sauce… With some fries. The fries look bland but they taste yummy. All this for $ 7 and I am full. First time at this place and I am already looking forward returning.

This place is alright but it is very expensive for a dog joint. The charcoal touch on cooking the dogs is good but not good enough to charge basically $ 5 for a chili dog. I got 2 dogs… 1 original and 1 all beef. I would say don’t even try the original go straight for the all beef, it has more flavor and you won’t feel as bad after you drop $ 5 for one of em. Overall, it was cool testing this joint out but I definitely would not go out of my way to get one. The chili is bland and does not enhance the flavors of the dogs at all. Don’t take my word for it though, check it out yourself!

Quality hot dog in Atlanta. As a native New Yorker I’m used to the typical street style dog, with very limited toppings. However… «When in Rome». This dog or Red Hot as barkers called it definitely has a different flavor/taste that your typical street hot dog and that probably attributes to the hardwood charcoal they cook it on. I tried the original red hot and it was crispy on the outside, almost to the point of being fried with the inside remaining moist. The topping station has something for everyone, but I like to keep it simple with the sweet onion and hot sauce(spicy mustard)

Barkers hot dogs are quite good with their fresh-grilled taste. I’ve also had the pleasure of the beef on weck, recommended to me years ago by Tom Maicon. Along with Brandi’s and Hot Dog Heaven, Barkers is one of the best hot dog restaurants in the area(NW Atlanta metro). All three are very different in character and fare. The restaurant is worked by friendly, enthusiastic people. The space itself does leave something to be desired — inside seating is sparse and a bit harsh, very lacking in character. Not sure what can be done about that other than move to new location. Having seats outside helps considerably. The owner responses? Well, if I were rating that separately, Barkers would get fewer than four stars.
