Bob Steele Salon

I left work early to get my hair cut and colored at Bob Steele Salon in Marietta. Because of the shooting on 75, traffic is obviously horrible and being routed around Marietta. I called them 6 times with no luck because their phone wasn’t working to tell them that I was going to be a few minutes late. When I finally got ahold of them at 5:40, they said if I were more than 10 minutes late they would not be able to see me. I tried to explain to them that it wasn’t my fault, that this was unusual circumstances, and asked if there was anything that they could do. She went to talk to the stylist, and when she came back, said that the stylist said that if I were more than 10 minutes late she would not be able to cut my hair because she double books her clients and wouldn’t have time to do both of us. At that point, I told her that I was not interested in being a client of that salon, that I was not happy with the way they were treating me as a brand new first time client, and that would I pay good money to have my hair done, I expect more than being double booked. I am not a happy camper right now.

Peyton is the BEST! I’ve been going to her since she started at Bob Steele Salon. She cuts and styles my hair perfectly every time, and she recommends products that have done wonders on my hair. I live in Atlanta and travel to the Marietta location specifically for Peyton. She books up fast so make sure you keep your appointments with her and book in advance!

Got my hair cut by Peyton this afternoon, and it was an all around great experience! She listened to what I wanted from the haircut, and made great suggestions as well. I’m very happy with my cut & love the way she styled it. Thank you!

Peyton was amazing did a great job on my cut. I got a pixie and was super nervous coming in but she was very friendly and made me feel great!

Impressed! I’ve been going to Van Michael Salon of East Cobb for the past year and although they do a pretty good job with my hair, I feel they are extremely overpriced and I hate driving the 20 mins over there and its a pain to make an appointment. I’d seen Bob Steele Salon many times as its located in the same strip mall as my grocery store and a few favorite restaurants so I decided to give it a shot. I went on their website and was able to schedule my appointment online which I love! I travel a lot for work so its difficult for me to schedule appointments way in advance. I love the convenience of being able to book around my schedule easily online. I scored a same day appointment for highlights and cut with Brittany and was pleasantly surprised! The salon is very nice and the staff very friendly. Its more calm and spread out compared with Van Michael. Brittany did a fantastic job on my color and cut and styled my hair perfectly. She paid attention to the way I had it styled when I walked in the door and gave me a great blowout! I also took advantage of the paraffin hand wax while my foils were setting and Brittany gave a great head massage. The best part was the price! While I was paying $ 150 at Van Michael for cut and color, I only paid $ 83 (actually $ 66.40 because they gave me 20% as it was my first visit). What a deal! I also liked that they didn’t try hard to sell me products. That always turned me off at Van Michael. Very impressed with this salon and I will definitely be back!
