Just don’t get the owner to help you and you’ll be ok! My daughter and her friend went there today she came home crying because of how bad she was treated and how the owner just didn’t want to help her so she made excuses and made extra charges to get out of doing the work. My wife and daughter go there all the time and get good service from other people that work there but because the owner lady doesn’t like working there(literally what she told my wife) she does a crappy job and tells people they can’t get a certain service because of some excuse when all the other nail salon employees do such services. She also charges higher prices for the same service only because she doesn’t want to do that color. Since she is the owner she’ll read this and just won’t care. It’s sad, just stop doing nails because your service sucks! Hope you feel better making my daughter and her friend really bummed on the day before their first day of school!

I LOVE this nail salon! They are very courteous and professional… Mimi is he best at gel nails, mine last for about 3 weeks. Have taken my grand kids, niece and friends there. Would recommend highly!

First, I love Polish Me Off and the staff! I’m always greeted and welcomed with a smile! I’ve been coming here for nearly 3 years and never had anything of my services less than perfect. This is the 1st place I’ve found that does a solid gel manicure that lasts longer than a week and still looks perfect. If you get there when they aren’t busy you can get a mani and pedi done at the same time! When I was pregnant with my 1st son I came in here every month for a relaxing pedicure! I loves large selection of gel polishes they offer and they will even do a little extra design of you ask Also, they do a great job at waxing eyebrows and have been doing my the past 3 years. If you want a great bail salon this the place for you!!!

Okay I believe in giving a second chance. Very busy and received good service, but the boss was there working. Why can’t we get the same service when the boss isn’t there? Plenty of clean towels and spray. So all in all good service.

Was in this week for 1st time. Went in for pedicure. The store is very big and quiet no music no tv … A man did pedicure I asked for plastic bag liner in bowl he said they didn’t use them but had them another guy got it and put it in … I got just the regular pedicure … Tried to talk me into Calus remover. No thanks … So did the other stuff … I got home closer look … Toe nails are filed crooked… Big crooked across not even straight… Polish on skin and cuticle area … I doubt I will go back… Thank goodness it’s not flip flop season yet

BEWARE, I have Staph/MRSA! I used to go to Tracy’s regularly, but there’s often a long wait there so I tried going to this place which is right inside the Kroger shopping plaza near Tracy’s. I’ve gone to Polish Me Off only twice and within about a week of my last visit, I started noticing small bubbly looking bumps on the area near the bottom of my right leg right above the foot. I didn’t think much of it at first until the same started happening on the left foot days after the right leg. I don’t have very sensitive skin, I hadn’t changed any laundry or skin care products, I had been wearing the same shoes with socks/hosiery as usual. So at first I couldn’t make sense of it. Well within a week of using skin rash ointment, it didn’t get better. In fact it started getting painful and it seemed as if a dark hole was forming within the cluster where skin was breaking. At this point, I finally went to the doctor to check it out thinking he would say it was a spider bite or some sort of dermatitis. He asked me several questions to figure out what sort of change in exposure I’d had in the two weeks leading up to the small bumps appearing. They did tests and it came back positive for a staph called MRSA. I didn’t know much about MRSA except for the stories of people having cuts and zip lining in the news a few years back. It didn’t even occur to me I could have contracted that. He said that most likely I got this from the salon, that it can be commonly contracted someplace like that particularly if they do not properly sterilize their equipment or sanitize the tubs well. Long story cut to the point, I contacted the man with the afro who is always there(Hahn?) and he completely blew me off denying that it was even a possibility! He says the manager is not there every time I’ve gone or called and says her name is Michelle Pon,…but he’s the one always in charge and answering the line when I’ve tried to speak with the manager. I’m still trying to get rid of this infection, and won’t go into the details of how complicated and involved that process has been. But save yourself the hassle of this ordeal and go somewhere else. I would’ve never thought I could get something like this just going to have a pedicure. It has been a long, horrible ordeal.
