Pressed Panini Bar is a nice sandwich shop in Marietta Square. They took over the old Subway location. I never been into that Subway, but I bet they didn’t have to change much since it was already built as a sandwich place. They have different types of paninis there, and they are a good value. They also have salads and soups you can order. I tried their French Dip Panini and their Turkey Bacon Avocado Panini. They are pressed, like their name suggest, and comes with a lone pickle. You can get the combo which comes with sides and a drink. The French Dip Panini comes with a Chianti au jus to dip your sandwich in. Overall, I liked it. The bread was nice and toasted, and I liked the flavors from the dip. I loved the Turkey Bacon Avocado Panini. I love avocado; I think it makes everything better. The turkey tasted fresh. The bread was good as always. It was an enjoyable sandwich. During lunch time, they aren’t as slammed as the other places around the square. Don’t get me wrong, they’re popular, but you should be able to find seating. However, they do take a while to make your sandwiches. It’s not like Jimmy Johns where they give you the sandwich immedately after you order.

Scrumptious and fresh with quick and friendly service! My panini(first, ever!) was delicious, melted and pressed to perfection, and very«neat». Had a side of the corn & edamame salad and was pleasantly surprised by it’s equal freshness and lovely combo of flavors. I will be a repeat– Pressed offender !

I had a French Dip and my wife had a chicken salad. Service was relatively quick and we mutually agreed that the food was quite tasty. Parking is semi-convenient in nearby lots or on-street. This place is right on the square in Marietta.

Wow! My mother-n-law suggested this for lunch and I am glad she did. It was delicious! I chose the egg salad. They pressed the bread so it was crunchy and warm. Side salad to go with it. The portions were large. I loved the potato salad panini is so good! I would suggest getting there before the rush. A few minutes after we ordered, the line was to the door! Perfect little spot in the square!

Just put a fork in it! No, really, do put a fork in it and nibble away. This place is awesome all-around and I will be more than happy to share why. But first I need to say this, for all of my TL;DR readers: This establishment is everything that Panera should be but is not. Step into this fresh, modern eatery and you’ll not regret the decision. When I first waltzed into here, I remember not being impressed or blown away by any of their menu offerings, all of which are neatly written on a large chalkboard board which you can see easily. My wife had already been four times or so, and that says a lot considering she just moved down here. I was curious what the hype was about, so I let her do the ordering and just started small talk with the server. First of all, the staff here are all great people. They aim to please, and they are quite sincere in their conversation. It warmed the experience up for me, which I always appreciate. Secondly, the food here is great. You get large portions for a very good value, almost surprisingly so. The ingredients are fresh in taste and appearance, and even when I didn’t like certain flavors in the dishes, I still found plenty of reasons to appreciate the offering. Nothing I’ve had has been overly seasoned or salted, and everything tastes so healthy. This is the type of place you frequent when you’re craving quality food but mindful of the health component. Kudos on the job well done, Pressed Panini.

Pressed has great sandwiches, nice staff. But it ends there too often. Four times now we’ve been there when they are under staffed and unprepared for the lunch crowd. 25 minutes to get a sandwich is just unacceptable. It was obvious they were more interested in taking the call in orders rather than ensuring the folks eating in the restaurant were taken care of. If you are going, plan extra time, or walk out if it is crowded. I saw them apologizing to three other people for the same poor service.

We love Pressed! Convenient location for us, great food and fair prices. They can get a little busy during the lunch rush, but that’s the sign of a good restaurant.

Service and friendliness of staff: 5 stars. Food quality: 2 stars. We were stoked to try this place based off of the reviews. Y’all let us down. Shame on you. I could make these at home. I guess I was hoping what we ordered(we each ordered different items) would have some uniqueness to them. Nope. It really is basic, like what your pre-teen makes when they get home from school. I tried some of the sandwiches specifically mentioned in reviews. We’re not friends anymore. :( If you want to eat a clean place with friendly staff on the square, this is it. Clean and friendly. If you want a spectacular sandwich, not so much. It’s good, just not«ohmydog, my life has been forever changed good» like some of there reviews would have you think.

Mmm… buttery and crisp, yuuuuum. Clean, chill environment and quick service. Perfect spot for a great panini. :side note: although you will surely get freshness, I found that the meat lacked in seasoning :-/

Good, eclectic menu options. Could tell everything was very fresh but our food came out in less than 5 minutes. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the order — make sure to get a punch card before you leave! The place was clean and décor was minimal — would have enjoyed some individual style. I got the steak and green chile panini with a quinoa salad side. The steak was thin and tender and the bread was pressed hot with melted cheese and sautéed onions and green chiles inside. Would have preferred the steak more centered in the bread — as it came there were bites with double steak and some with none, and it was hard to reposition with the melted cheese inside. Just a small gripe though, the sandwich tasted delicious! My date got the turkey, brie, and apple panini with a pasta salad side. She loved the sandwich; it was a good size and balanced flavor-wise, served piping hot. The pasta salad was Mediterranean and very good as well(though black olives would be an awesome addition!). Glad we branched out and tried a new place in the Square — we’ll be back to try the rest of the lineup!

Delicious. I’ve popped in here to grab a panini a couple of times and they’re very tasty and with some wonderful and creative combinations, although I’d like to see a bigger selection. One that you MUST try is the Nutella and brie panini. You’ll be very happy you did.

Having lived less than a mile from Marietta Square for the past 8 years, I have seen many different restaurants come and go. The last few years have been great for the square with the addition of such places as The Local, Taqueria Tsunami, and now Pressed Panini Bar. Pressed used to be an old Blimpie’s, and upon walking in I instantly fell in love with the modern, streamlined décor. The space is really bright and cheery and it was really clean. There is a nice variety of sandwiches on the menu, ranging from more traditional sandwiches, to a few that are a little more adventurous. I ordered the apple, brie, and turkey panini with quinoa salad on the side. I was very pleased with the meal, and the serving size was big enough to be satisifying but not so big that you become overstuffed. The staff was very polite and towards the end of our meal one of the employees(I am assuming the manager or owner) came to our table and told us about a new delivery service they are starting for people who live within three miles of the square. She also made sure we left with menus to keep at home. I really loved Pressed Panini Bar and will definitely make it back to try out some other sandwiches!

Normally, I’d want to make a couple of visits before reviewing a lunch spot, but I can tell after just one that Pressed Panini is a keeper. Spicy Cubano — perfectly prepared, just the right amount of toasting to the bread and good balance with the ingredients. Edamame & corn side works well with the panini. It’s more like lots of corn with some edamame, but still good. Very good, in fact. Nice space, although I notice some of the tables have hard metal stools instead of wood seats(you can see them in some of the photos). Don’t want to sit there. Their location on Marietta Square doesn’t hurt either.

Another great addition to Marietta Square! With better hours than most that cater to the weekday morning and lunch crowd! Awesome selection of panini’s! Though I’d like to see a chicken pesto! So disappointed. But forcing me to try others has been awesome! Spicy Cubano… Awesome! I only ding a star, because it seems a little slow. Never been there at rush hour so others might not experience that. And if you’ve ever read one of my reviews… I’d rather wait for taste! Soups are amazing!

The woman that runs this place is super friendly, in fact, every one who works here makes you feel like you just walked onto the set of Friends. The customer service is always top notch. Surprisingly, as an avid meat lover, my favorite sandwich by far is the Summer Vegetable.(maybe it’s the goat cheese, I’m a sucker for the stuff) Great little place to swing into for lunch if you’re in the area!

Wow, this place is great! They close at 4pm and I’m usually in the square in the evening, so I had thought for the longest time it had permanently closed. Nope, and I’m glad it didn’t! They serve pressed paninis, soups, and salads. I had the French dip panini and it was really tasty! They have some interesting sides, other than typical chips, like corn and edamame salad or quinoa salad. These are good — not amazing or anything, but better than chips or fries. The place is clean, the staff are friendly, and I was imPRESSED(get it? Ha ha ha) that it was only $ 1.50 to add a drink(soda fountain/tea) and a side. Usually drinks are more than that by themselves. Solid place — can’t wait to go back soon!

Thanks to Lindy F.‘s UYSammi-E #10 I was able to check out this super cute panini shop. It’s directly across the street from the Marietta Pizza Co. & conveniently located at the corner in the heart of Marietta Square. You can’t miss them! Parking is available in front of the sandwich shop and along the surrounding side streets. Love the décor at this place. The bright yellow and black theme with simple modern furniture makes you feel like you’re at a trendy panini bar in the city. The sandwiches are solid and the price is super reasonable! I loved my steak and green chile panini and also got a chance to try the turkey brie apple melt. Who would’ve thought that adding thin slices of granny smith apples to your sandwich would taste great. All the ingredients used were fresh and the sandwiches were perfectly pressed. They’ve got a handful of tables directly outside their restaurant for patio dining which are great for when the weather allows it. The service here was great and I definitely look forward to returning for lunch the next time I’m in the area.

«That open house was understated, it was classy, elegant. I’ve been to a million of those things, and nobody, *nobody* put out Rosemary Flatbread Paninis.» — I Love You, Man(2009) Who doesn’t love a grilled cheese sandwich? I mean really? No… I’m asking you. Because, really, that’s what a panini is — a glorified, fancified, grilled cheese. Dress it up, take it out on a date — that’s what’s going on with a panini. The Italians just make it sound elegant. And I love them for it. But I digress. This was stop 10 on the sammie tour and it was the perfect choice. 5 of us came in with some decent expectations, but I would say they were exceeded. We had heard about the«Split» — the ability to get two half sandwiches for the price of one. Turns out, according to the cashier — the owner really only does this for friends. But since we knew about it, she would extend the offer to us, just this once. Oops. Lucky for us, I guess. At least that meant I got to try 2 different sandwiches. I ended up ordering the Turkey Bacon Avocado and the Quattro Frommagi. Both excellent choices, but the turkey was the true winner. The bacon is a cayenne candied bacon and it made ALL the difference! Plus, once the 4 cheese cooled off, it was kind of boring in comparison and not that gooey. For my side I picked the edamame corn salad and I loved it! Crunchy, sweet and savory — a perfect combo with my sandwich choices. I’ll definitely come back here again — there are many more sammies to try on that menu.

Pressed Panini Bar opened June 2013 in Marietta Square. It’s from the same chef and owners as Taqueria Tsunami located down the block. Pressed Panini Bar took over the old Blimpie space. As far as sandwiches are concerned, this was a huge upgrade. I’m a fan of Taqueria Tsunami and Pressed Panini Bar has followed suit with delicious sandwiches. The restaurant is located inside an old stone building at the corner of S Park Sq. and Power Springs St. The building looks like it was originally a bank or government office. You wouldn’t expect to find a nice sandwich shop inside. The restaurant has a fast casual setup. Order and pay upfront, take a number, and food is brought to your table. Drinks(soft drinks and tea) are self-serve out of canisters and a fountain machine. The interior is clean and simplistic. There isn’t a whole lot of space inside — a handful of tables, wraparound bar seating in the middle(no alcohol is served), and a counter that wraps around one set of windows with a view peering out onto the street. The menu features about a dozen different types of sandwiches(all paninis), priced between $ 5.99 to $ 7.49 per sandwich. There are also a few salads and sides. Ingredients are typically fresh and good quality. All meats are all natural. The most popular sandwiches are the Spicy Cubano, Turkey Bacon Avocado, and Steak & Green Chile. The Spicy Cubano is a Cuban sandwich(ham, mojo-marinated pork, Swiss cheese, mustard) with pickle-jalapeño relish which gives it its slight kick. The Turkey Bacon Avocado comes with turkey, cayenne-candied bacon, avocado, tomato, cheddar, and basil mayo. The Steak & Green Chile comes with a blackened steak filet, green chiles, Gruyère cheese, caramelized onions, and cilantro-chipotle mayo. A sandwich I personally like here is the French Dip. The sandwich is made with roast beef, caramelized onions, provolone cheese, and herbed horseradish mayo. It’s served with a Chianti au jus dipping sauce. This is a panini French Dip and the flattened version works out great because the compressed sandwich is easier to dip into the au jus. It’s one of the better French Dip sandwiches I’ve tried and is savory until the last bite. Another recommended sandwich is the Turkey Brie Apple Melt, made with turkey, brie cheese, sliced green apple, arugula, and basil mayo. The arugula and apple are fresh. All sandwiches are made to order. If you can’t decide which sandwich to get, you can order any two half sandwiches for the price of approximately one($ 6.99). It’s a nice option, especially if want to sample/try different sandwiches. In this same deal, you can also substitute out a half sandwich for any soup or salad. Sides consist of corn edamame salad, quinoa salad, and pasta salad. These side salads are made fresh and are tasty. I prefer the quinoa salad. It comes with tiny bits of red onion, tomato, parsley, and cucumber. Very refreshing and healthy. Service is very good. Orders come out from the kitchen in a reasonable amount of time. Open seven days a week from 11am to 4pm. If you want to beat the weekday lunch crowd, come before noon. Parking is also easier during this time. If you can’t find free street parking on/around the Square, park at the free surface lot at the corner of Mill St. and N Marietta Pkwy.

Great Sandwich Shop!!! While on the Marietta Square this Saturday my son and I decided to catch a bite to eat. We were headed to Marietta Pizza Company and decided to try Pressed Panini Bar. Jan waited on us, very cool polite dude… very professional, took our order and even gave us a little history course on some of the buildings in the sqaure(pretty cool). I ordered the turkey, bacon & avocado sandwich and the black forest ham & fig sandwich which both came with a pickle. The turkey, bacon and avocado was my fav. Jan also suggested the pasta salad which was a great addition to the meal. Everything was really good… great sandwich combinations. Delish! Unlimited refills on fountain drinks and many soup & salad options available. I can’t wait to try the Chow Chow Salad next time. If your not that hungry, they also have an option known as Split Decison(cute huh?), you can get soup, a half salad & half of any sandwich for $ 6.99(not bad). Location: The Marietta Square on the side of MPC.
